雅思考试包括两类：G类(General Training)目前较多适用于移民;学术类(Academic)多用于留学。这篇文章主要介绍一下G类小作文。
不同于A类的图表题或流程提，G类小作文中要求考生根据题目中的问题或者事件写一封私人信件，形式可为非正式、半正式或正式。文章字数不能少于150字。
书信的主要结构，即称呼，主体部分和署名。
称呼----开头段(2句)
主体部分----(8-10句)
信末礼貌语和署名----结尾段(2句)
关于不同的称呼和问候，取决于写作的对象，如谁是接收人、写作人与接收人的关系等。考生应根据写作对象的不同而选择适合的写作形式，以实现写作目的，如写给朋友应用非正式的形式、写给上司应用正式的形式。
虽然语句上有所变化，但是在大体的结构上是不变的。
关于书信的书写内容上，考生需要：
? 咨询和/或提供一般性的事实性信息;
? 表达需求、要求、喜恶等;
? 表达看法或投诉;
? 提出要求、建议等。

第三篇：21天上班族雅思G类备考成功经验分享
备考时间：我是7月25日网上报名的，当时想用30天突击复习一下。没想到24日这个考点没有G类的考试，最接近的就是8月17日了。再往后拖我觉得容易懈怠所以咬咬牙报了17号的，总共复习时间是21天。
之前英语水平：我高考英语130分，大一考过四级，大二考过六级，大学期间还获得过省里的大学生英语竞赛二等奖，自己一直对英语很自信。大四自己复习过一年考过GRE，成绩不理想，TOFEL还不错，不过出国读研的梦想就破灭了。毕业后在外企工作，习惯了英语邮件和客户沟通。不过工作中遇到一个考霸，英语居然比我还牛，天天打压我，气得我过去的自信都烟消云散了。
备考书籍：此类备考书我知道基本只用一遍所以在淘宝上买了全套25本的复习教材，运到家差点晕倒，足足有10kg。我觉得时间肯定不够都看一遍了，所以仔细研究挑了其中以下：
1.《剑桥雅思真题》1-9，其中1-3没有G类的阅读和写作，而且题型和难度与后面的有差
距，做了听力之后就果断弃之。4-9每套G类的题目都做过，听力和阅读在做到一半的时候觉得突然成绩有了提升，之后就保持住那个水平，给自己奠定了一些自信。作文有
例文的就写，然后比照抄一遍例文。有的太简单就没有下手。总共写了13篇作文，以
大作文为主，抄了N篇范文。每次研究人家写的范文都觉得行云流水，无比佩服。看自
己的作品总是觉得不尽人意，但是又觉得无处用力-_-||2.《十天突破雅思写作和口语》喜欢这两本首先是因为书名让我觉得我十天内能看完，看
了之后觉得PAT老师的文风幽默，逻辑清晰，这两本书读起来不费力，有兴趣，感觉有
所提高。后来才知道烤鸭人手一本，早已是大家的心头好，我就不再赘述。其余的词汇啊，真题精解啊，听力啊全部放弃，当时想如果考一次不过我就好好再读一
遍…
复习过程和心得：
我自从交了报考费就开始进入紧张的复习过程中。每天都是学到晚上11点，早晨6：30起床，白天在公司上班也时不时偷偷看两页，在楼下透气都要听一段听力。这对于现在的我来讲简直有点不可理喻---睡眠时间缩短、和时间赛跑，每天都在给自己打分，自己鼓励和寻找问题和解决方法。在这个过程中我一直对自己说，如果你能成功，就是对自己的一个很大的肯定。当然，我很感谢我的家人和领导对我这21天的支持，没有他们我肯定没有这么投入。
【听力部分】我主要靠做真题，在总结中提高自己。起初，40个对30个，后面就可以对35个左右。有时候错的很不值得，没有复数，忘记大写，拼写错误，之后就会格外注意这些问题，避免丢分。起初觉得填空容易错，后来觉得选择容易错。因为填空只要听到了写下来就可以，可是选择要读题，听到的又是需要转述才能选出来的，稍微有点偏差就错了。后来就专门用中间停顿时间去读题，划出每个选项的重点，在听的过程中就集中去理解内容，马上去选，效果还是不错的。还要强调一点，听力是需要一点淡定的，错过了不要纠结马上投入下一题。
【阅读部分】G类的阅读简单得让人脸红，我就不多说了，时间是充分够用的。复习中途发现T/F/NG这个题型有些崩溃，错得觉得没有什么理由，后来在网上找到一个挺好的解题思路（雅思阅读False和Not Given的区别），总算是过了这个坎了。
【写作部分】写信是要发挥一下想象力的，只要在题目的前提下发挥就可以了，所以还是很简单的，这个分一定要拿到。大作文首先要有思路，可以按照PAT的裸奔法去套。然后结构要清晰，段落之间有逻辑关联。段落之间的句子如何组织，句子之间的关系要紧密，可以用PAT的“国力对比顺，不设下限转”来套用。在平时的研究范文和自己写作中有意识地用一些关系去写句子，好好体会。单词就要靠自己了，我觉得不要去刻意追求“大词”，用自己熟悉的词来表达一定会错。
【口语部分】我不得不承认复习的话题启发我思考了很多事情，有的话题没复习雅思永远不会有人问我，我自己更不会去主动思考。比较生疏的题目我会准备一下，明确如果要抽到我要讲什么。然后百度啊，google啊，各种准备。其实也不要被生僻的题目吓到，毕竟概率很小，平时积攒RP是多么的重要啊>_<’
考试当天：考场门口跟登机一样，还要安检，每人只能拿着身份证进去。我一直怀疑墙上没有表怎么看时间，坐下来我发现自己弱爆了—一个投影仪清晰地投出一个硕大的表盘，还有秒针啪啪地走。瞬间觉得自己好小…
我的耳机还是坏的，换了一个之后能正常地用了，还好。听力和阅读很简单，写作的题目是你喜欢和同龄人还是不同年龄人做朋友。这个题目我有好多话讲，好平易近人的话题哦。一阵写，现场根本没时间关注语法，逻辑什么的，怕写错所以写得也挺慢的，时间基本刚刚好，连仔细看2遍的时间都木有。
我想说早晨千万少喝水，中间不让上厕所的啊，我欲哭无泪。4个小时啊，有没有人性啊。口语考试是第二天中午，笔试完我基本就休息了，没有再怎么复习，想想14分钟的内容还能怎么准备啊。我的考官是个中年男人，脸跟门夹过一样窄，戴着眼镜。口音很好，态度也不错，我当天心都快跳出来了，也意识到自己有点凌乱，但他一直点头，弄得我更乱了… 我抽到的话题非常简单，是关于儿时的游戏的。在第三部分他问我儿童和成人游戏有什么区别的时候，我有点不知所云了，就在那时时间到了…所以我到成绩出来对自己的表现都没有底。
成绩出来了： 考完那天我一身轻松，马上把书送给别人了，当然也没忘记说万一没过再还给我„之后就是焦虑的等待。有一次梦见过自己考了4.5分，有一次梦见考得还不错。我考前就说假如我考过我要好好写一个心得给后人分享，因为我之前不这样做的，只看别人的自己不写。我知道听力和阅读绝对没问题的，就想雅思这么科学的考试，没见过口语和写作奇差的，那怎么平衡啊，一直安慰自己。今天中午12点出成绩，我瞬间登录，看到成绩出来了！我之前无数次登录试图早点知道答案，现在出来了我都不敢往下拉。结果是---总分7.5，其中听力7.5，阅读8.5，写作和口语均为6.5分！马上泪奔啊，各种欣喜，这么多天的辛苦总算有一个交代了。各位烤鸭们，祝你们一路顺风，考出自己的水平，有一个崭新的未来！
