throughout my years of being a student, i’ve had many teachers.none of them are the same, but the one that i’ll never forget and will always miss is my chinese bilingual teacher in the middle school i attended in seattle, ms.ho.she was a skinny, but stylish lady in her 50s.she was different from all the other teachers because she gave me something unforgettable.ms.ho and i became friends right in the first semester i was in that middle school.at the same time, i was having a really hard time with my subjects.since i had just transferred from a bilingual school, where i had stayed for two months after arriving in the us, my english was horrible;my average grade was below c.i almost thought it impossible to learn english.then, one day she told me she strongly believed that i was capable of controlling my life, and i would be just fine.she said that she found we were much alike: both were stubborn, kind-hearted and a little bit simple-minded.she believed that i had the quality of being wise.she even said that she didn’t have any worries about me, about my not learning english.with her encouragement, i found the strength within myself and began to desire to work even harder.as a result, i soon proved her right, and at the end of the semester, i got a 3.8 average grade.today, i still keep in touch with her, and she still tells me how she believes in me.sometimes, i’d think back, and wonder how i could handle all those things if it wasn’t for her encouragement and trust.could i be the person i am today? then, it struck me: what we need has always been trust

我们今天学习雷锋精神，不要讲形式，要讲实效，要讲发自内心的出发点，要贯彻到日常生活和学习中。社会发展需要树立正确的价值观念和道德风尚，树立积极的、好的榜样，雷锋就是我们的好榜样。雷锋的精神内涵是很丰富的，他刻苦钻研，尽忠职守，热心待人，做好事只是雷锋精神的一个方面，我们应该把这种精神融入到我们日常的生活和行为当中。当然任何一种精神都都要与时俱进，新的时代就有新要求，比如说到艰苦朴素的作风，我们应该有这种精神，但衡量的标准是什么呢，现在的生活已经和世纪60年代不同了，我们要合理的理解今天的艰苦朴素作风，做到不浪费，不盲目追风，注重实效。

美国有个古老的节日——“感恩节”。每逢“感恩节”，美国举国上下热闹非凡;按照习俗，人们前往教堂做感恩祈祷，举行化装游行、戏剧表演或体育比赛，品尝美味的“感恩火鸡”，借此感谢已经拥有的和即将得到的。“感恩节”是美国的，但“感恩”却不分国度。
懂得感恩的人，才是真正成熟的人。懂得感恩的人，才是内心充满爱的人。懂得感恩的人，才是令人敬佩和尊敬的人。
我们应该感恩父母，因为父母给予我们生命，养育了我们。我们今天的生活都与父母无私的付出是分不开的。“可怜天下父母心!”的确，在这个世界上，还有什么爱能胜过父母对子女无私的爱呢?因此说，父母的爱是人间最伟大而无私的爱!
我们要感恩老师，当我们背着书包跨进学校大门之日起，就开始与我们的老师朝夕相处。在老师的谆谆教诲中一天天地成长着……一直到我们走向社会，成为社会有用的人。我们知识能力的获得，都与老师的苦口婆心是分不开的。因而，我们要感恩我们的老师，是他们用毕生的心血，在浇灌着一代代的幼苗茁壮成长。
我们要感恩生活，是生活给了我们太多的收获。从生活中我们懂得了，什么是苦，什么是甜。是生活教会了我们吃苦耐劳，坚持不懈地努力才会成功。是生活磨练了我们，坚持真理、坚强不屈的品格和意志。从生活中，我们学会怎样与人和谐相处，懂得宽容和理解的涵义。在生活中，我们学会了怎样做个对社会对他人负责任的人。是生活教会了我们怎样做一个合格的人。
我们要感恩生命，是生命让我们知道什么是顽强和脆弱。生命的顽强难以想象，同时，生命又脆弱是不堪一折，一旦破碎就无修复的可能。所以，不管富贵还是贫穷，我们都要好好地活着，而且，要活出一种精神与精彩。我们这些活着的人，更应该爱惜生命，过好精彩的每一天。让自己健健康康、平平安安，也就是对家人、对朋友、对所有关心自己的人的最好的宽慰。
我们要感恩大自然，是大自然带给了我们体验生命的勇气。嗅一鼻温馨的花香，捡一片无助的落红，听一丝啁啾的鸟语，尝一口秋后的甜果。然后，或俯仰天地，或极目远方，或拥抱高山，或搏击沧海，或缠绵丝雨，或嬉戏舞雪……。融身其境，我们身有何感?是沉醉?是哀怜?是沁脾?是甘蜜?是壮怀?是感动?是缠绵?是惬意?也许人间的感情都尝尽了，但是我们必须把一种最重要的感情留在最后，以填平感情起伏不平的沟壑，那就是感恩，感恩自然给予我们博大的物藏，感恩自然给予我们无尽的享受，感恩自然不求回报无私的奉献。
让我们把“感恩之心”化为“感恩之行”吧——
让我们回报父母;主动承担一些家务，体验父母的艰辛。减轻父母的负担：努力做让父母放心的好孩子。让我们回报老师：勤奋学习，刻苦钻研，插上创新的翅膀，在知识的海洋里遨游。让我们回报社会：做到不随地乱扔果皮纸屑，还社会一个整洁的环境;夜深人静时把电视的声音开得小些，给邻里一个安静的夜晚……
感恩，不仅是一种礼仪，更是一种健康的心态，能折射出社会文明的进程。让我们每个人都怀揣一颗感恩之心，永远绽放出最灿烂的笑容!
