听懂含有形容词的几个指令,并按指令做动作。【教学难点】单词small 中[ l ] 的发音,舌头要上卷。【教具准备】 教师准备教材配套的录音带。
教师准备Let’s learn 部分的课件。
学生准备动物玩具,每人带1-2个。
教师准备所学单词卡片和图片。【教学过程】 热身、复习(Warm-up/Revision)
(1)日常口语会话展示。
(2)教师播放 “Hide and Seek” 的歌曲录音,师生边唱边做动作。
(3)利用字母卡片复习26个英文字母。用升、降两种语调读字母,注意每个字母的发音做到准确到位。呈现新课(Presentation)

扩展性活动(Add-activities)
教师把学生带到室外,做传球说物的游戏。将学生分为3—4组,每组围成一个圈,每圈的学生分一个气球,学生听音乐传球活动,当音乐停止时,手中拿到球的学生则抽取问题,问题的内容为:形容某某人或某某小动物。回答问题的同学用Look at„ It has„ It’s so„
或 Look at „ He/She has„ He/She is so„ 的句子来表述。
第三课时 教学目标: 能听懂、会说以下国家的英文缩写 PRC, CAN, UK, USA。能听懂本课的韵文,并能跟录音一起说。复习字母大小写。【教学重点】在复习字母时学习中国、加拿大、英国、美国的国名缩写。【教学难点】中国、加拿大、英国、美国四国国名的简称或全称的发音。【教具准备】 教师准备教材配套的录音带。
教师准备字母卡A—Z。教师准备中国、加拿大、英国、美国四国的国旗。
有关奥运会入场式的录像带。【教学过程】 热身、复习(Warm-up/Revision)
(1)日常口语练习的展示。
(2)让学生根据动物的图片或个人情况,简单形容某人、某物的样子。
(3)游戏:请说出与我动作不同的单词。
教师做动作,要求学生说出与教师所做动作不同的单词。如:教师做 tall 的动作,学生说: short。
呈现新课(Presentation)
(1)教师将准备好的字母卡片按照A—Z 的顺序贴在黑板上。指着每个字母请学生认读,复习字母表。可以全班齐读,再以“开火车”的形式每人认读一个字母。教师要求学生注意每个字母大小写的不同形式。
(2)教师出示中国、加拿大、英国、美国四国的国旗,教师带读China, Canada, United Kingdom, America。
(3)教师播放Let’s chant部分的录相,在活泼动感的chant中让学生了解国旗的同时初步感受四国国名的简称或全称的发音 China, Canada, United Kingdom, America。
(4)游戏:眼疾手快
将全班分成四组,派一名学生到黑板前,教师念一个字母,学生就要从黑板上取下这个字母。最后比比,哪组学生手中的字母卡片最多。
(5)教师将写有大写字母的卡片发给部分学生,每人一张,说:P, R, C.拿着这三个字母卡的学生要按顺序站成一排。用同样的方法让学生找出CAN UK 和USA(教师在发给学生卡片时,可有意准备两个A, C, 和 U以备用)。
(6)领读这几个单词,告诉学生它们是中国、加拿大、英国、美国四个国家的国名缩写,国名要用大写。将准备好的四面国旗分别贴在各自的国名缩写下,请学生根据国旗说出每个 词代表的国家。
趣味操练(Practice)
(1)游戏:配对游戏。
将写有四国国名缩写的字母卡和国旗分别给8个学生,请他们将词
与图配对贴在黑板上。
(2)让学生听Let’s say 部分录音,并跟读。
(3)让学生听 Let’s chant 部分的歌谣录音,一句一句的跟读。将China, Canada, United Kingdom, America 四个国家的国名板书于各国国旗下。告诉学生PRC 和 USA 是中国和美国的简称,完整的形式为:the People’s Republic of China(即:中华人民共和国)以及 the United States of America(即:美利坚合众国)。而平时多使用 China, America 两个单词。
(4)采取大节拍的方法读歌谣。还可根据学生情况,教师读前半句,学生读后半句;男生读前半句,女生读后半句等方法练习。

第四课时 教学目标:
1、学习两个形容词tall short,掌握形容词的用法。
2、在A部分对话的基础上,运用本课时及A部分学过的形容词描述事物的特征。

(一)热身/复习(Warm-up/Revision)
1、说一说,演一演A部分Let’s do的歌谣。
2、look and say
教师用手势做出big, small, long, tall等样子,让孩子猜一猜,说一说
3、choose and say
教师将毛绒玩具放在一个大盒子里,请孩子当前面选择自己最喜欢的,介绍给同学们,运用上学过的句子:“I have a „.It has long/„ nose/„.”
(二)呈现新课(Presentation)
1、教师投影一幅动物园的大挂图(自制,包括许多动物),让孩子结合图说一说
What can you see?
用自己学过的形容词描述一下上面的动物
引导孩子用成对的词描述看到的动物,引出新词。
2、通过描述图中的动物,引出单词tall short,教师指着图中的长颈鹿和鹿,介绍这两个
单词。通过动作比划tall short两个词,引导孩子理解。
3、引导孩子们和老师、同学比一比身高运用上这两个单词。
4、出示课件,让孩子观看课件(关掉声音),根据故事的内容给课件配音
5、播放课件, 孩子看课件理解含义。
孩子分角色跟读。

(三)趣味操练(Practice)
1、运用手中的毛绒玩具,先描述一下。(仿照A部分Let’s tall的对话)然后再两个同学比较一下自己手中的玩具,运用tall short进行描述。
2、教师投影出示多幅孩子的家庭照片,让孩子根据家庭成员的情况,运用tall, short两个单词进行描述。
(四)扩展性活动(Add-activities)
Let’s practice部分的交流活动,让孩子从家中带来自己喜欢的动物玩具,运用学过的句子,把他们介绍给同学们
教学重点:进一步学习常见的几种动物的单词 monkey, dog, duck, panda, cat, rabbit。
教学难点:panda, cat, rabbit 三个单词中的字母 a 都含有相同的音[ǽ ],提示学生找共同点,使学生简单了解一些语音知识。
教具准备: 教师准备 monkey, dog, duck, panda, cat, rabbit 的图片和相应的单词卡片。
教师准备 monkey, dog, duck, panda, cat, rabbit 的面具或头饰。
教师准备与教材相配套的教学录音带。教师准备Let’s talk/ A 部分对话中人物的面具。
教学过程: 热身、复习(Warm-up/Revision)
(1)Oral practice学生口语会话展示。教师可提示学生适时加入新句型: I have a „.(2)让学生带上面具表演第一课时 Let’s talk/ A 部分的对话。
(3)“猜猜看”游戏。
教师用简笔画的方法在黑板上画某种动物身体的某个部位,边画边问:What is it? 如:教师在黑板上画猴子的头、耳朵后问: What is it? 学生随意想象,猜图说:A panda? A monkey? „ 教师再继续画一两笔,让学生接着猜,并以小组为单位讨论,最后由一名学生代表说出一个答案。教师将图画完,带领学生一起说: Look!It’s a „ 猜对的小组赢得一分。呈现新课(Presentation)
(1)继续调动学生学习兴趣,接着刚才的游戏猜谜。教师将所学的动物单词 monkey, dog, duck, panda, cat, rabbit 的图片提前贴在一块小黑板上,或提前贴在教室的黑板上,并在每幅动物图案上用纸张或其它物品遮盖好,只露动物的尾巴,让学生猜猜看 What is it?,导入单词的学习。
(2)学生根据动物的尾巴猜谜,并七嘴八舌的讨论。
(3)教师将遮盖物取下,学生自然的发出感叹 Wow!Great!随后教师请学生读单词。(学生在第一课时已经初步学习了单词)此时教师不要急于纠正学生发音,而让学生相互说说、评评,让学生间相互纠正单词的发音。
(4)教师出示单词卡片,请学生将单词读出后将卡片贴在黑板上,并要求贴在相对应的图片底下。使单词的音、形、译三者相结合。
(5)教师请五名“小老师”到讲台前带读单词,既是对能力强学生的表彰也是多方面调动学习兴趣的体现。让每名“小老师”带读一个单词。
(6)打开书41页,全体学生听录音跟读单词。要求每读一个单词,手指一个单词。跟读单词时力求模仿录音中的语音语调。
(7)将学生分为六个小组,让能力强的学生或自愿申报担任组长工作,带领小组组员继续学习单词,巩固认读情况 monkey, dog, duck, panda, cat, rabbit。小组活动时应有评比,评比各组活动情况,如:学习氛围,小组纪律状况,有无大声喊叫现象,有无打闹现象等。教师还可为各小组命名,组名为新单词内容 monkey, dog, duck, panda, cat, rabbit。
(8)小组反馈。让小组组员齐读单词,也可每人读一个单词,检查单词掌握情况。教师可继续评比,方法为:读对一个单词加一分。
(9)总结小组分数。
趣味操练(Practice)
(1)游戏:小组对抗赛
a.按六个小组monkey, dog, duck, panda, cat, rabbit 开展对抗比赛,各小组挑选一名组员上讲台前抽取单词卡片,大声认读,本组的其他组员快速做出此种动物的动作或模仿声音,正确的加分。以此类推,直到六个小组都轮流过一次。
b.各小组间自由挑选组员,按自己的意愿说本课单词,但只张嘴不出声音,要求对方猜出单词是什么。例:monkey小组挑选dog小组的一名组员并不出声音的说单词panda,dog小组的组员要按照口形猜出单词,猜对的加分。以此类推,各组间自由考察,相互提问。
c.总结各小组分数,为第一名小组发奖。
(2)Let’s do
a.教师播放 Let’s do 部分的录音,学生边听边说边做此部分的活动。做动作时可加上动物的叫声。
b.教师使用Let’s do 部分的动作图卡,让学生看图说图卡上画的是什么动物做的动作。
c.学生再次听录音,能力强的学生说出指令内容,同时请几个学生上台前表演动作。
(3)游戏:
教师将monkey, dog, duck, panda, cat, rabbit 的面具或头饰拿出,选六名学生到讲台前,请他们紧闭双眼,教师给它们戴上面具后学生睁开双眼。底下的学生直呼其中一人的名字,并用动作告诉她/他面具是什么动物,由带面具的学生猜,猜对为胜,直到六名学生都知道自己的面具是什么动物。根据时间决定游戏次数。课堂评价(Assessment)

游戏1:I’m lucky today!
教师将学生带到室外,按学生人数分成大组,每组约10人,围成大圈坐在地下。给每组学生一套面具monkey, dog, duck, panda, cat, rabbit,让一名学生手拿面具,随音乐走动,当音乐停止时将其中一个面具放在一名同学身后,大家一起喊:1 2 3(One, two, three),谁的身后有面具谁就是“幸运星”,“幸运星”要戴上面具大声说:I’m lucky!Look!I have a „。音乐再次响起,游戏继续进行。
游戏2:介绍运动员入场
教师将面具发给学生,让学生戴上面具,扮演小动物参加运动会入场式。底下的同学要一同介绍参加入场式的成员 This is Panda.This is Cat.This is Duck.„

本课时通过 Let's learn 和 Let's do 两部分的学习掌握几个常见的动物单词:monkey, dog, duck, panda, cat, rabbit。在第一课时学生已经能听懂、会说这几个的动物单词,本课时对学生提出认读的要求。首先教师通过简笔画,和学生做“猜猜看”的游戏,自然导入动物单词的学习。考虑到学生接受能力的差异,本课时教师给能力强的学生当“小老师”的机会,还让能力强的学生担任组长工作,带领小组成员学习单词。让不同层次的学生有不同的学、练方法,使之兴趣浓厚、各有收获。Let's do 部分教师依然通过“全身动作反映法”(TPR活动)让学生听指令、做动作。学生经过亲自表演动物,形象地将“音和译”融为一体。听听做做的同时刺激大脑皮层,进一步激活记忆、巩固知识。
探究活动 动物拼图
活动目的:通过拼图游戏,进一步巩固所学的动物的单词以及句型Look!I have a...活动形式:全班参与
活动过程:
1)教师把所学的小动物的图片拆分成许多小块,放在一起,每个小组都分到同样的一堆动物“零件”,看哪个小组拼得快,拼得多。
2)每拼好一个动物,每个小组派一个代表向老师报告:“ Look, I have a...”
3)每个小组以拼好的动物为道具,自设情景,表演对话,要求用到下面的句型:
-Look!I have a...-Wow!/Cool!/Super!/Great!
4)由教师评出冠军,进行奖励。
评比标准:动物拼得快不快,多不多,准不准,与教师对话的代表人数以及小组表演的情况
