2014年全国英语演讲比赛 校内选拔赛 通知

第二十届中国日报社“21世纪·可口可乐杯”全国英语演讲比赛 和 2014“外研社”杯英语演讲比赛将于2014年10月正式启动。两项赛事均为年度国家级比赛，我校选手选拔和指导任务由外语学院具体承担。比赛分为校选赛、省决赛、全国总决赛三个阶段，现就校选赛具体事项通知如下：

演讲题目（报名校选赛者两个题目均需准备）： 1.change the unchangeable(需自加副标题，3 minutes)2.seeing is not believing(需自加副标题，3 minutes)录制3分钟演讲视频：

参赛者需全程脱稿演讲，否则不予评分。背景黑板上需大字注明：演讲题目、南京工业大学、参赛者姓名。视频完整，不得剪辑编辑，不超过100m。

（提醒：往届手机拍摄的视频在电脑上打开时常有图形倒置的情况，上传前请自行检查。）

作品提交： 因邮箱容量限制，请不要重复提交。

一、活动背景

随着时代的发展,民族逐渐融合，如何使中国与国际社会进行更好的交流,促进彼此的发展,是当代中国大学生不可推卸的责任。而英语作为世界上使用最广泛的语言，在国际的交流中自然起着至关重要的作用。所以，英语水平已成为衡量当代大学生素质的基本标准之一。

前期准备

活动过程

1)主持人致开幕词并且介绍到场的评委、嘉宾 2)主持人介绍比赛的规则评分细则。3)开始，选手根据比赛前的抽签顺序进行比赛 4)其间主持人向观众及选手公布结果分数 5)在前5号选手参加完比赛之后，中间穿插游戏，现场互动调节比赛气氛。

游戏安排：击鼓传花，三轮

6)待所有的选手比赛完后，邀请评委代表上台发言，工作人员进行统分。7)评委发言完后，主持人上台宣布比赛结果（依次由优胜奖到一等奖）8)（待定）上台颁奖。

9)主持人宣布比赛结束，全体工作人员、嘉宾、评委、选手合影留念

后期工作

第二篇：英语演讲比赛

中国传媒大学政法学院第二届法律英语比赛竞赛规则

一、目的2009年中国传媒大学政治与法律学院法律系成功举办了首届法律英语比赛，并从中推荐了四位优秀选手参加第二届全国法律英语比赛，取得了论文比赛一等奖和二等奖各一名、两名演讲比赛二等奖的优异成绩。为了进一步提高其我系学生的法律英语写作和演讲水平，为第三届全国高校法律英语大赛选拔优秀选手，特举办法律系第二届法律英语比赛。

二、参赛对象

法律系全体本科生和研究生

三、评审委员会

本比赛设评审委员会，由王四新教授担任主席，郑宁、刘文杰、何勇、戚春华、彭珂老师担任评审委员会委员。评审委员会的评审遵循公开、公平、公正原则。

四、比赛要求

本比赛分为法律英语论文比赛和法律英语演讲比赛，两项比赛可以同时参加。

1．法律英语论文大赛要求：

（1）选题有一定的理论价值和现实意义，可以是原创论文或调研报告；

（2）论证层次清晰，分析较为深入，研究方法合理、文字规范流畅，注释规范；

（3）字数在5000单词以内；

（4）一旦发现抄袭、剽窃行为，将取消参赛资格。

2．法律英语演讲比赛要求：

（1）选题较为新颖，具有现实价值；

（2）演讲稿规范；

（3）论证清晰，表达流畅，富有感染力和表现力。

（4）时间为5分钟。

演讲结束后参赛选手需当场回答评委提出的一至二个问题。

五、比赛安排

1．7月18日-7月23日，填写报名表（英文），报名表包括个人信息、选择参赛的种类、参赛题目、选题意义、写作计划、写作提纲、参考资料等内容。评审委员会将指派教师对报名的选手进行专门指导，并举行专门的培训讲座；

2．8月20日，提交论文或演讲稿的定稿；

3．9月8日，公布法律英语论文比赛评选结果，共设：

一等奖1名

二等奖2名

三等奖3名

获奖者均可获得荣誉证书和精美礼品，优秀者将被推荐参加全国比赛，参

赛费用由法律系承担。

4．9月15日下午，举行演讲比赛，并公布评选结果，共设：

一等奖1名

二等奖2名

三等奖3名

获奖者均可获得荣誉证书和精美礼品，优秀者将被推荐参加全国比赛，参赛费用由法律系承担。

附第三届全国高校法律英语大赛介绍

全国高校法律英语大赛已经在北京第二外国语学院成功举办了两届（2008年、2009年）。比赛期间，来自全国近200所高校的近500名法律专业本科生和研究生聚集北京二外，交流法律思想，切磋英语技能，传递学术友谊。大赛以“用英语表达你的法律观点”为主题，本着促进中外法律文化交流与融通、检验我国法律英语教学水平、推动国内高校法科学生法律英语学习的宗旨，由北京第二外国语学院法政学院发起并具体组织实施。历届比赛都得到国内高校法律院系的积极响应和大力支持，很多学校高度重视，在参加决赛之前还组织了本校预选赛，大赛的举办对国内高校法律英语的学习起到积极的促进作用。《检察日报》主办的《法学院》专刊在2008年5月8日第3期以“法律英语进行时”为题，用两个整版对全国首届高校法律英语大赛进行了专题报道，报道称：“首届全国法律英语大赛”引发高校法律英语热。大赛也得到国家有关部门的高度评价，国家法制局原局长孙琬钟先生亲临现场，对首届高校法律英语大赛的举办表示祝贺并参加颁奖，同时期望法律英语大赛越办越好。

在总结两届法律英语大赛经验，并征询有关法律英语领域专家学者的意见和建议基础上，今年将举办全国高校第三届法律英语大赛。本届大赛由北京第二外国语学院法政学院、法律英语证书（LEC）全国统一考试委员会和法律出版社联合主办，大赛的主题不变、形式不变。参赛获奖论文将由有关出版社择优出版（此前两次大赛的优秀论文已如期出版）。参赛获奖演讲辞将择优在《二十一世纪英文报》上予以刊登或摘登。在演讲决赛阶段的比赛结束后，将一并

举办论文比赛和演讲比赛的颁奖仪式。组委会将邀请中央电视台、北京电视台、《法制日报》、《检察日报》、《人民法院报》、《法制晚报》、《二十一世纪英文报》以及有关网站的记者进行现场采访和报道。

论文大赛设一等奖10名、二等奖20名、三等奖30名、优秀论文奖若干名。评委由北京第二外国语学院法政学院和其他有关院校的法律英语专家与部分外国专家组成，实行匿名评审，每篇论文由三位专家独立分别打分，最后分数由组委会加权平均核定。

演讲比赛分为预赛和决赛两个阶段，均在北京第二外国语学院现场进行。演讲题目自定，时间为5分钟左右，演讲结束后参赛选手需当场回答评委提出的一至二个问题，然后由评委分别当场打分，并在去掉最高分和最低分后核定选手的总得分。演讲大赛设一等奖5名，二等奖10名，三等奖20名，优秀奖若干名。评委由组委会聘请中国社科院和国内知名院校的法律英语专家及外籍人士组成。

同时，大赛组委会根据各参赛院校的参赛组织情况设最佳组织奖5名。

递交参赛论文时间：纸质论文邮递时间截止于2010年9月20日，以当地邮戳为准。同时递交论文电子版。演讲时间定于2010年10月30-31日。请参加演讲者于2010年10月29日到北京第二

“‘外研社杯’全国大学生英语演讲大赛及英语写作大赛”是外语教学与研究出版社联合教育部高等学校大学外语教学指导委员会和教育部高等学校专业教学指导分委员会共同举办、面向全国高校在校大学生的公益赛事。

Today I’m going to talk about discover yourself.Ever since the accelerated development of human civilization, perpetual scientific discovery of nature have companied mankind all along the journey.It was by discovering the around us that human beings have been able to live a more sophisticated life.However, as G.K.Chesterton once said “one may understand the cosmos, but never the ego, the self is more distance than any star.Thus, a life is a journey of unrelenting offers to discover more of ourselves.When I was six, I constantly picture myself as an elegant and skilled pianist rendering Xiao Bang’s nocturnal beautifully on the stage, receiving award and applause after my performance.However, as I further my piano lessons, it was hard to be oblivious of my non-gifted skills.Sometimes I couldn’t help but have this feeling of despair, when I woke up to the reality and discover that my goal was unrealistic.Brutal but real.It was the first time;I had discovered that I couldn’t have it at all, when I was twelve.I thought the coolest job in the entire universe was to be a surgeon.I spent hours and hours watching the drama Grey's Anatomy and couldn’t help falling in love with the kind of live those doctor lead on the scream.I was utterly mesmerized by the scalpel and all those fancy medical terms that use.However, I stop to dream about being a surgeon when I discover that it was the idea of being a surgeon that appeal to me, not what it truly was.As a result, the dream ended and I discovered some more about myself.This year, I turned sixteen and I could proudly say I do not dream to be, but ascertain to peruse being a lower in the future.Since junior high school I had always been awarded the most eloquent debater in every single debater participated in.I can not only think logically, but also deliver my thought promptly.My huge interest in philosophy also acts my reason in whenever I tried to argue with something equivocal.Being aware of the obstacles and the hardships on the way becoming a great lawyer never panics me, for the simple reason that I have this faith and passion in what I am aspiring after.G.K.Chesterton was absolutely correct;the most complicated part of comprehending the world is the study of somehow smaller world, ourselves.I subsequently realized that growing up is a process that discover yourselves.We got to know what we truly are and become who we dream to be.As we shape ourselves and as we shape of our lives.We gradually become more aware of limits and potentials, and consequently learn to adjust learn what’s out there, and by that ladies and gentlemen I’m proud to say that I have discovered part of myself, sue to discovering today and definitely a lot more in the future.I would always keep this in embedded in my heart.Things do not change, we do!

Good morning，judges, teachers and follow students.Today I would like to share with you my great wish.but first, please allow[ə'lau] me to take you back in time to the year 1955, the setting, Montgomery [ məntgʌməri ], Alabama [ æləbæmə ], the United States of America.It started out as an ordinary ['ɔ:dinəri,-neri-] December afternoon.42 year-old African American Rosa Parks boarded ['bɔ:did] a bus and sat down in the front row.She thought over, the days and friends, her child at home, and how she enjoyed her simple life.She was content, but when she thought about the prejudice['predʒudis] and discrimination[dis,krimi'neiʃən] that she had to face everyday, she felt a mends pain.How she wished to live in the world of true harmony ['hɑ:məni]!“Ehen, ehen(咳嗽声)”, Rosa was startle ['stɑ:tl] to see a white man standing beside her.He was starring at her coldly ['kəuldli], but she managed ['mænidʒd] to smile and ask politely [pə'laitli]: “May I help you sir?” “Get out of the seat!” the man snarled [sna:rld] back.“Excuse me?” Rosa was shocked.[ʃɔkt] What right did the man have to speak to her in such a cruel ['kru:əl]tone? Just because her skin was dark colored and his was fair.And as equals： ['ikwəl], he certainly ['sə:tənli] didn't have any right to order her out of the seat, or did he?
