【校团委】关于举办我校第十届英语演讲比赛暨2011年“外研社杯”

全国大学生英语演讲大赛天津科技大学选拔赛的通知

各学院团总支、学生会：

为进一步加强和改进大学生素质教育，推动我校大学英语教学改革深入开展，有效地调动我校学生学习英语的积极性和综合运用英语的能力，校团委、教务处、外国语学院将联合举办我校第十届大学生英语演讲比赛，并从中选拔优秀学生参加每年一度的“外研社杯”全国大学生英语演讲比赛。

一、参赛资格

天津科技大学在校本科生及硕士生（年龄不超过35岁）均可报名参加，在职研究生以及往届天津赛区前三名的选手不包括在内。

二、比赛形式

1.组织形式

比赛以海选形式进行，报名选手参加选拔赛，优胜者进入校级决赛。选拔赛分为A组（泰达校区学生）和B组（河西校区学生），场次及晋级决赛名额视报名分组情况确定。

外国语学院团总支承办本次比赛的全部赛事，比赛组织办公室设在外国语学院学工办（泰达校区9号楼304）。

2.比赛内容

比赛由定题演讲和即兴演讲两部分组成。

（1）定题演讲：

演讲主题：“A Word That Has Changed the World”。

要求每位选手在本题目下加小标题。注：“a word”可以是一个单词，也可以是一个短语，也可以是一句短句。

（海选演讲限时1分钟，校级决赛演讲限时3分钟）

（2）即兴演讲：（校级决赛项目）

选手当场抽取问题并准备30秒钟，演讲时间为1.5分钟。

三、报名方式

学生可到本学院学办报名，报名之前应确定本人定题演讲题目。各学院团总支负责本学院按组别报名参赛学生的登记工作，于10月8日（第6周周六）下班前，按照附件中的格式，将电子版和纸质版统一报送外国语学院学办（泰达校区9号楼304，河西校区主楼F区601），邮箱poison@tust.edu.cn。

四、比赛时间、地点

A组比赛时间：2011年10月15日（第7周周六）上午9：00 地点：泰达校区，依据报名人数确定。

B组比赛时间：2010年10月16日（第7周周日）上午9：00 地点：河西校区，依据报名人数确定。

校级决赛时间：2010年10月22日（第8周周六）上午10：00 地点：泰达校区图书馆第一报告厅。

五、奖项设置：

1.A、B组小组赛奖项依报名情况确定。

2.校级决赛设一等奖2名，二等奖3名，三等奖5名，优秀奖若

干名。连同分组决赛获奖学生一起发放获奖证书及奖杯。

3.获奖学生中选拔若干名参加“外研社杯”全国大学生英语演讲大赛天津市复赛。

各团总支要充分认识这项活动的意义，将其作为加强我校学风建设的重要措施之一。各团总支要组织好宣传发动工作，调动广大学生、特别是11级新生参与比赛的积极性，动员学生踊跃参赛。

2010年“外研社杯”全国英语演讲大赛

2010年“外研社杯”全国英语演讲大赛于2010年11月10日晚八点二十分在广西城市职业学院四号教学楼阶七准时举行选拔赛。

组织这场选拔赛的工作人员井然有序的进行着，显得很熟练，工作效率极高，选拔赛场布置得简练也很完美。

选拔赛开始由主持人宣读出席的嘉宾，这次出席大赛的人员有学院党委书记姜攀，外国语分院院长谢晓兰，机电工程分院党委书记孙振保，资历深厚的李日耀教授等10多位老师，以及选手们的亲友团。今晚参加的选手一共有23位，其中08级09级的占的比例比10级占得比例人数多，所谓姜还是老的辣，但今晚10级的选手们并不畏惧，不会因选手是学长学姐而放弃比赛，也不会因学长，学姐经验丰富而紧张，日过你是青山上的一棵松，那么你就要经得住烈日和严寒的考验，如果你是溪流中的礁石，那么你就要桩基础美丽的浪花，如果你是大海中的雄鹰，那么你就要有搏击风浪的勇气，这是从10级的选手中流露出的感言，只要我们充分，还是会夺取冠军。鸟儿因翅膀而自由翱翔，花儿因芬芳而美丽，她们驾着自己的梦想一步步迈向成功的彼岸，那种坚定不移和执着的精神令人佩服。在坐的观众都被选手们那口流利的英语所折服，掌声一浪高过一浪，最后选手们拿着自己向往已久的证书开心的笑了，她们知道台上的一分钟台下十年功，自己的努力终究没有白费，希望下次的大赛能够拿到更好额成绩。

英语现在是国际上一门通用的语言，英语大赛的举行促进了我了我院校园文化，学习氛围的发展，为学生日后走上社会进行了很好的铺垫作用，望我院的教学事业更上一层楼。

My name is Li Haiqing.I am a local person who is 21years old.I am from chongqing and I am of the opinion that my hometown is a beautiful city.Moreover, I would like to say something about my family.I have my mother ,my father,and my elder sisther,they love me very much,I know my parents have so much hops and dreams for me。So I must study well.I have the confidence because I have such ability!I am kind-hearted, patient, outgoing and creative.I am a hard

working student especially do the thing I am interested in.I will try my best to resolve any problem no matter how difficult it is.I always believe that one will easily lag behind unless he keeps on learning.In spare time, I like reading books, surfing on the Internet, listening to music like, classic, or light music, because they can make me feel relaxed.Nobody could keep on working

efficiently, therefore proper amusement is a must.In addition, I insist on do some physical training such as running, and
