在下利兹土木新生陈一宁，河北石家庄人氏。区区不才，于今日代表新生发言，不胜荣幸。首先，恭祝同窗有缘，于此相会。同时，谨向为我等入学事宜操劳万分的师长、学长们深表感谢。

七月流火，八月未央。携清风而自往，踏妩霞于云上；临天府之蓉城，诣交大之明堂。城有峨眉巍巍，郫水汤汤；西岭雪覆，堰引都江。校有蒹葭苍苍，白鹭飞翔；荼蘼开至，疏影横窗。漫步于此，在下不敏，却已闻交大师友温雅之内涵，热情其风貌。醉于此间深处，不由神怡心旷，畅想未来四岁将度之韶光。

缘何选择交大？待我娓娓道知：

小生自幼习文，喜读诗词；又受家庭氛围之耳濡目染，立志工程学家。及至高考志愿，无论土木桥梁，交通运输，电气机械，信息科学，皆宜我相。而小生所望，不外是一所历史风韵浓厚之工科学府，圆我文艺工程师之梦。

初闻交大，始于央视报道之真空管道超级磁浮新闻；继而略览其史，慨叹不禁。生于山海，便震平津；名扬天下，声隆而今。灌输文化，亦尚交通；学揽中外，无问西东：此其我梦寐之学堂也！不由心向往之，继而详察其史：

节物风光不相待，苍天碧海须臾改。始于1896，岁月沉淀，濯其铅华；时间涤洗，熠其光辉。遥观当年，交大学长雄姿英发：钱塘江上，一桥飞亘，扬子两岸，阡陌交通——此为茅以升学长呕心沥血之杰作；历史物候，斯人始创，气象科学，尽瘁一生——此为竺可桢学长念兹在兹之使命。力矩分配，一鸣惊人，预应力学，于此发扬——此乃林同炎学长卓尔不群之伟绩；明于水利，治于黄河，实事求是，独爱真理——此乃黄万里学长终身恪守之准则。茫茫戈壁，人影惶惶，两弹一星，中华奋强——此为两弹元勋陈能宽、姚桐斌、吴自良精忠报国之理想与功业。又前行，至今时今日，交大人追慕先贤，亦殷鉴来者：沈氏理论，翟孙模型，奠大系统动力学理论之厚基；高速铁路，磁浮交通，新型城轨，超级高铁，领轨道交通技术研究之前沿。

有览乎此，余已对交大无比向往。而今日梦圆时分，必不得沾沾自喜，而应是汲汲前行：于学者，精之勤之，于课堂内外习得先进知识；于志者，敦之笃之，以交大先贤为奋斗榜样；于行者，果之毅之，踏出青春路上铿锵步伐；于事者，忠之恕之，内外兼修浩然之气。大潮滂滂，大国泱泱，“士不可以不弘毅”，维以不断追求进取，完善自我，“焚膏油以继晷，恒兀兀以穷年”，方足以承担起更重之职责与使命。

“桃李不言，下自成蹊。”交大于我，亦是如此。曾想高考乃十年寒窗之结束，今始知其为人生新章之启途。在下不才，但愿与交大师友携手而行，不负韶光；追求卓越，日就日将。初心不忘，于此起航：鹏程万里，前路康庄！

正如茅以升老校长名言：“人生一征途耳，其长百年，我已走过十之七八。回首前尘，历历在目，崎岖多于平坦，忽深谷，忽洪涛，幸赖桥梁以渡。桥何名欤？曰奋斗！”

陈一宁自小学开始便受到了家庭与学校的熏陶，习古文、诵诗书，是他从小培养起来的爱好。高中阶段，他便以一篇“感恩”为主题的文章获得了古典文学冰心文学大赛全国金奖。在对文学保有极大兴致的同时，陈一宁对理工科的学习也相当认真，以优异的成绩考入交大，深入学习土木工程学科。

我们这所大学，有悠久的办学历史和深厚的学术底蕴。抗战爆发之际，黄浦江畔的关华大学迁至杜甫草堂迤西，开启了我们这所大学光荣的历程。从中国第一位注册会计师谢霖教授、《资本论》最早的译著者陈豹隐教授等学界泰斗，到如今集聚了包括110余名海归博士在内的学者队伍，从《现代财富论》等学术力著，到国家级科研项目的连年突破……西财始终汇聚着一批学贯中西、立德树人的财经名师，形成了本土海归交相辉映的大学景象，为祖国培养了一大批财经精英，由此也赢得了中国高等财经教育体系中举足轻重的地位。

学校前身院校的办学历史，可追溯到1905年由孙中山先生创办的中国公学和1925年创立的上海光华大学。1952年，西南地区17所财经院校及综合大学的部分系科合并组建了四川财经学院，成为师资力量强、办学规模大的全国4所综合性财经院校之一，开启了学校第一次创业。1978年，改革开放，中国迎来了大变革、大发展，历经“文革”磨难之后，高等财经教育迈入空前发展的黄金时期，学校掀开了建校史上第二次创业。1980年学校由中国人民银行总行主管，成为行属重点院校；1985更名为西南财经大学；1995年进入国家“211工程”重点建设。2000年，学校划转教育部直接管理，面对新的经济社会形势和高等教育的深刻变革，学校又开始了更艰巨、更辉煌的第三次创业。

柳林校区自2001年征地建设，2004年住进首届本科生，迄今已建成近40万平方米的教学生活设施、45万多平方米的景观绿化地，一所文明宏大、高雅宁静、设施基本齐备的现代大学新校区拔地而起，这是财大人面向新世纪，实施

SWUFE is a university with a long history and profound cultural background.In the period of War of Resistance Against Japan, the Guanghua University along the Huangpu River was moved to the west of Du Fu Thatched Cottage, which witnessed the opening of the glorious course of SWUFE.From leading magnates in educational circles, such as professor Xie Lin, the first certified public accountant of China, and professor Chen Baoyin, the first translator of , to a team of excellent scholars including more than 110 doctors overseas, from famous books, such as , to breakthroughs of national-level scientific research projects every year, SWUFE always gathers top financal teachers versed in both Chinese and Western learning and committed to strengthening morality education in one place.Grand gathering for the local scholars and overseas returnees comes into being.And a large group of financial elites have been cultivated, for which SWUFE wins a pivotal position in China’s higher education system of finance and economics.The history of SWUFE’s predecessor can trace back to the National University established by Sun Yat-sen in 1905 and the Kwang Hua University

in Shanghai established in 1925.In 1952, it was merged with parts of schools and departments from 17 financial uiniversities and comprehensive universities in the southwest of China and was renamed Schuan Institute of Finance and Economics, one of the four comprehensive financial universities with strong teachers strength and large education scale, which started the first entrepreneurship.The Reform and Opening in 1978 saw a great revolution and a major development in China.And after having suffered the Cultural Revolution, China’s higher education of finance and economics entered its unprecedented golden age of development, which is the second entrepreneurship.In 1980, the university was taken over the administration of by People's Bank of China and became the key university.It was renamed the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics in 1985 and was listed in the “211 Project” in 1995.The administration was transferred to the Ministry of Education in 2000.Facing new socioeconomic situation and deep change of higher education, SWUFE starts its third entrepreneurship, which is much more difficult but more glorious.Liulin Campus started its requisition of land and were under construction since 2001.In 2004, the first undergraduates moved in.So far, nearly 400,000 square meters of teaching and living facilities and more than 450,000 square meters of greening landscapes have been built.A new campus with grandness, elegance, tranquility and various facilities rose straight from the ground.It is the third entrepreneurship based on a new centry.The campus has already accommodated undergraduates from four grades.According to the advice from Ministry of Education, Liulin Campus Is the main campus of the school.And in this sense, the arrival of undergraduate students of grade 2007 completed the strategic shift to Liulin Campus as its main campus.Next year, masters and doctors will move in, and the commercial residential buildings for faculties will be completed.Liulin Campus will present a scene of more perfect conditions for learning and living and better campus culture.
