Teaching aim: 1.Can pronounce the new words well and correctly and can use them freely.2.Can make the sentences by using some words they know.3.Show the dialogue correctly and freely.Important teaching: 1.To grasp the new words.2.Make some sentences and dialogues.Difficult teaching: 连续说几句描述宠物的话语。Teaching preparation word-cards PPT Teaching procedure: I.warm-up Teacher says chant with action, students follow.Cat, cat ,one head.Cat, cat, four legs.Cat, cat, a long tail.Cat, cat, you are cat.(The students don’t repeat the last sentence and freeze, otherwise answer questions.)II.Presentation 1.Teacher shows the picture of “pet”, tells the Ss: The animals all live in home, so we call them”pet”.(Lead to the title.)
2.T:I have a pet, it’s green, it walks so slow, it has a short tail.Guess, what pet do I have? I have a turtle.It’s cute.(Ss guess, T shows the new sentences and word.)3.T shows “ parrot” with PPT and leads to:” What pet do you have? I have a parrot.It’s smart.”
