第二篇：初高中英语差异
在实际的教学中，在每一届高一学生中都会出现一种情况：本来在初中英语学得还可以的学生，到高中后英语成绩却不如从前，这使许多学生失去了学习英语的热情和兴趣，甚至失去了自信，导致成绩一落再落，最终放弃英语。到底怎么回事呢？其实，原因很简单，就是因为初高中英语衔接的环节出现了脱节，使学生产生了不适应而导致的。要解决这个问题，首先要知道初中英语与高中英语在很多方面存在着差异，如：
1.初高中英语教材的差异
初中是5本教材，要求掌握1600多个单词，初中英语是基础英语，比较简单，且要求低, 初中英语其实只是培养语感、记忆一些简单的单词、理解一些简单句子，初中基本上以简单句为主，偶尔涉及到个别宾语从句或状语从句。高中是11本教材，最起码要掌握3500个单词，高中英语容量大，节奏快，要求高，几乎每堂课都有新的内容，需要学生及时地掌握、消化和巩固。高中英语强调语法的贯通、长句阅读分析能力、基本的听力和表达能力, 高中基本上以复合句（类似于汉语中的复句）为主，要求学生深刻理解句子结构和语法成份，以便清楚地划分出句子的主干，所以课文中都经常可以看到“从句中再嵌套从句”的情况。
2.初高中英语教学方法存在差异
初中教师的课堂用语较简单，很多时候用汉语解释。高中教师一般上课多用英语教学。刚入高中时的第一、二周，新生可能只能听懂教师讲课的一半，甚至更少，但一般过一个月左右，大部分学生会逐渐适应，基本都能听懂。初中教师对英语教材讲解得十分详细，会逐字逐句地翻译，而且反复操练的机会多。到了高中，教师注重的是对课文篇章结构的理解及深层含义的理解，注重有选择性地讲解重点、难点，不会面面俱到。
3.初高中学生英语学习方法不同
初中生对教师的依赖性强，所学内容大部分都是跟着教师进行简单机械的操练。高中英语需要在理解的基础上去记忆，才能记得多，记得牢。初中英语因较简单，内容少，基本不重视课前的预习和课后的复习，仅凭课堂的反复讲练就能记住。但到了高中，预习和复习是至关重要的两个环节，不容忽视。没有作好充分的预习，听课效率明显不高，有时甚至全然不懂。没有作好复习，课堂所学的内容就无法得到巩固，即使课上听会的东西也容易忘记，学以致用就会事倍功半，甚至不起作用。高中学习更需要学生独立思考及创造性思维。
4.初高中英语试题范围和形式不同
初中英语考试的试题大部分都是平时已经做过的，由于内容少，题型简单，试题变化的范围不大，所以考试的时候觉得很轻松，考试成绩一般也比较理想，但高中试题范围广泛，题量大，掌握课文知识仅是基础，还需要大量课外知识的摄入，并且还要具有逻辑思维的能力以及分析、判断和归纳的能力，这种综合运用能力在完型填空、阅读理解和任务型阅读题型中显得尤为重要。学生如果只注重单词的记忆，只停留在知识的表层，那是远远不够的，考试成绩当然不尽人意。
