激发和培养学生学习英语兴趣的一些体会

摘要：英语教师要在教学中有意识地培养学生对英语的持久兴趣，激励学生不断处于最佳的学习状态之中，使他们对英语乐学、善学、会学，学而忘我，乐此不疲。激发学生的兴趣，使每个学生乐学英语，指导学生学习方法，使学生会学善学是引导学生学习英语的有效途径。

兴趣是最好的老师。一个成功的英语教师要在教学中有意识地培养学生对英语的持久兴趣，激励学生不断处于最佳的学习状态之中，使他们对英语乐学、善学、会学，乐此不疲。因此，课堂教学教师要通过多种手段激发学生实践的热情，加强对学生学习英语的兴趣的培养，让学生变兴趣为参与实践的动力。在中学阶段，有的学生探秘心理很强，求知欲旺盛；而有些学生的自信心和求知欲逐渐淡薄，甚至消失，滋生英语难学、英语无用的错误想法。所以，笔者认为:学好英语应该以激发学生学习英语兴趣为主要

一、在课堂教学中激发和培养学生的兴趣

1.迁移学生的兴趣，激发求知欲

让“双差生”学英语是让很多教师头痛的事。学好英语需要持之以恒的毅力，而“双差生”缺乏的往往就是这种锲而不舍的精神，如果只是从正面向他们大谈学好英语的种种好处，恐怕收效甚微。如能把这些学生

在其它方面的兴趣，迁移到学英语中来，则可事半功倍。

2.用口诀帮助记忆，提高学英语热情

英语语法规则，词的用法区别，发音规则等，常让学生迷惑。有鉴于此，教师可编些口诀来帮助学生记忆，降低学习难度，使学英语的热情升温。对七年级学生讲“be”的用法，记口诀：I用am,you用are；Is跟着他，她，它；要问复数用什么？其后全部都用are。又如基数词变序数词，编口诀如下：基变序,有规律,123全变要牢记，8减t,9减e,字母f代ve,ty变成tie，然后加上th,如果要变几十几，只变个位就可以。教师只要多积累，勤总结，口诀就会涌涌不断，教学也定会趣味横生。

3.创设情境，引人入胜

在教学中创设一些引人入胜的情景是十分重要的。如在教学去食品店购物的对话时，笔者事先准备了牛奶、桔汁、梨汁、香蕉、苹果、面包等，上课时把他们陈列出来，讲台便成了食品店，教师先扮演营业员，学生扮演顾客：

在英语教学中记忆单词是一大难点，如果机械的让他们读、背、抄、写、很容易使他们厌倦。因此笔者在教生词时，经常采用启发诱导新旧联系的方法，只要能和学过的单词联系上，就尽是让他们自己做比较。他们纷纷找出拼写相近的单词，有的加头，有的加尾，有的长音词把它们按音节分开记忆。学生很有兴趣地学会了生词，然后再让他们找出所学词的同义词、反义词、同音异义词等相关词。这样做不但化难为易

地掌握了新词，也轻松复习巩固了已经学过的词。

5.运用游戏，巩固兴趣

游戏是一种能引起学生学习兴趣的好方法，尤其是低年级英语教学的基本活动，灵活运用各种游戏，可以引起学生的极大兴趣。因此，在教学中，教师不但要鼓励学生玩，还要善于组织学生玩，和学生们一

起玩，引导学生玩得有意义。

二、培养情感，激发学生的学习兴趣

教育家夏丐尊说过：没有爱就没有教育，爱是教育的前提，是教育的基础，是教育的力量和手段。教育没有了情感，就成了无源之水。教师对学生真挚的爱是我们感染学生的情感魅力，教师只有热爱学生，才能提高学生的学习兴趣。

关爱学生体现在教师的课堂语言中，例如：在学生口语练习时，许多学生会担心自己说不好而紧张。此时，笔者就会微笑着说：“Don’t be nervous.” “No hurry.Have another try, please.” “Take it easy slowly.” 等等。当学生表现好的时候，笔者常常高兴的说：“Great.Very good.you’re very clever.Excellent.Good job ”等等。这样学生紧张的心里会得到缓解，学生的成就感和被赏识的心理得到满足，从而对

英语产生兴趣，学习的态度就愈发的积极。

三、利用多种手段，培养学生兴趣

随着社会的进步，时代的变迁，“一本教材，一只粉笔，一块黑板”的传统教学方式渐渐被淘汰，特别是英语教学，单一的教学手段，会很快让孩子感到乏味，会渐渐磨灭他们的好奇心和求知欲。因此，要使英语教学的内容更加丰富多彩，永远充满英语自身的魅力，就要采用多种现代化的教学手段，如计算机、电视、录像、录音机、幻灯、实物、图片等多种媒体的综合应用，为学生提供色彩感、真实感、动感。从而充分调动学生的积极性，激发学生学习英语的兴趣。这样，一节英语课，学生自始至终倍感丰富新颖，在活动中刺激学习兴趣，由以往的“要我学” 变成了现在的 “我要学”。

四、挖掘文化内涵，激发学习兴趣

词汇是语言的心脏，它包含着三种意义：词汇意义、结构意义、社会意义。英语中有许多词汇蕴涵着丰富的文化内涵，激发学生的学习兴趣。例如，在学到dog一词时，可以告诉学生，由于中西方所反映的价值观念的不同，中国人将狗与坏人坏事联系在一起，因而一些与狗相关的词语“狗腿子”、“狐朋狗友”等都含贬义，而英美人较多认为狗是人类的忠实朋友，因而与狗有关的表达如You are a luckydog(你是一个幸运儿)，Love me,and love my dog（爱屋及乌）等都含褒义。语言与文化的紧密相连，通过挖掘词汇的文化内涵，来激发保持学生的英语学习兴趣。

五、开展丰富多彩的课外活动，培养兴趣

中国孩子学英语缺少的是英语情境，新课标要求学生在生动具体的情境中学习。因此，为学生创设情境，营造学习氛围非常重要。教室内，可以设置“English sky”,里面内容都是学生精心设计的单元内容 ,“English sky”也随之变动。在“English sky”里面，有学生亲手制作的英文图片，有他们想说的话，有他们画的人物。“English sky”不但可以激发学生的兴趣，也激发了学生的想象力和创造力。语言来源于生活，为了使英语更贴近学生的生活，我们可以为孩子开辟一片独特的天地：“English room”。学习之余，学生可以在里边进行各种各样的活动，表演丰富多彩的节目。这样既学了英语，又充实了课余生活。在“English room”里笔者定期开展各种各样的英语课外活动，如英语口语交际，讲故事，猜谜语，英文歌曲联唱，在“English room”里，学生可以领略到中西方文化的背景。这样，学生可以把英语纳入自己的生活，在轻松和

如何激发学生英语学习兴趣

众所周知，在学习过程中，“兴趣就是最好的老师。”许多学生不愿学英语，关键是他们对英语没有兴趣。因此，作为中学的英语教师，首先应该先去激发学生的学习兴趣。古往今来，凡是教学上有所建树的教师，无一例外的是：他们的课都让学生着迷。结合教学经验可以从以下几个方面来激发和培养学生的兴趣。

一、用口诀帮助记忆，提高学英语热情。

英语语法规则，词的用法区别，发音规则等，常让学生迷惑。有鉴于此，教师可编些口诀来帮助学生记忆，降低学习难度，使学英语的热情升温。对初一学生讲“be”的用法，记口诀：、be 的用法口诀：我用am，你用are，is连着他，她，它；单数名词用is，复数名词全用are。变疑问，往前提，句末问号莫丢弃。变否定，更容易，be后not莫忘记。.又如，Double O的长短音，编“三字经”如下：煮毛木，看了书，脚送，立后屋。除之外，读长|u:|。

前面7个单词是：cook,wool,woud,look,good,book,foot;这些“后屋”包括classroom,bedroom,meettingroom等等。教师只要常收纳，多积累，勤总结，口诀就会涌涌不断，教学也定会趣味横生。

二、让学生制作教具，激发学习英语兴趣。

对初学者，直观教学尤其显得重要。由于条件限制，学校缺乏必要的挂图，笔者就发动学生自己动手画。对教学中所要用到的图片，提早一个星期布置下去，要求他们用彩笔画在白色的硬纸片上，在纸 1

片的背面再写上图画所表达的单词及其音标，为了便于以后保存，我对纸片的大小作了统一的规定。一周后，一些“作品”被运用在课堂上。这样，在课外学生都兴趣盎然地制作图片，课上他们都期待着自己“作品”的出现。开展画图片活动，其意义已经超出图片的本身，它让学生体会到成功，这种成功的喜悦大大激发了学英语的兴趣，使学生愿意来上英语课。此外画图片，也培养了学生的绘画能力，开发他们的智力，也可让他们先熟悉一下将要教的新课，达到预习的目的，真是一举多得！

三、自编短剧，调动学习积极性。

学习要“学以致用”，而英语的学习更是如此。我们要让学生学了英语后，要会开口说英语。为此，每节课，笔者都花五分钟左右时间让学生到讲台前表演他们自编的课本剧。具体做法如下：上课前，由当天的值日生（两个），先用英语作Duty Report.内容有：星期、日期、出席情况、天气等。（未学到的项目可适当删减）。然后由这两个值日生，或者他们再邀请别的两三个同学一起，表演他们课前已编排好的短剧，剧情可依照已学过的课文的情景，也可自己创设情景，但是台词必需要运用已学过的类型。之所以这样做，为了复习旧课，而这种复习不是简单的重复，而一种创造，是语言的活用，从而加深对新学内容的理解，最终达到“学以致用”。自编自演课本剧，让学生在笑声中复习，巩固旧知识，避免了让学生紧张得窒息的提问复习法，而收效却远远超过后者，这点，笔者深有体会，一些学生毕业后，仍恋恋不忘他们英语课上的五分钟表演。这种方法能使学生处于积极主

动的学习状态，也能培养学生的创造思维能力，试得一试。

四、开展竞赛，调动学习兴趣。

初中学生具有进取心和荣誉感，尤其在市场经济竞争的熏陶下，学生的竞争意识更加激烈。将竞争机制引入英语课堂教学中来，则是一种行之有效的形式。例如，我们可以将日常口头操练用语变化成竞赛用语；问答可以来一个“抢答”；拼读学词，来一个拼“单词大王”竞赛，以及书写比赛，猜谜语大赛，传悄悄话竞赛等多种多样的形式；再用积分法，给予鼓励效果更佳。课堂上适当的竞赛，学生乐于参与，乐于争先，乐于学习，这就调动了全体学生的学习兴趣。

五、创设情景，激发兴趣

人们的生活离不开情景，学习语言更离不开情景。新课程标准指出，课堂教学的过程应是师生共同参与、相互合作、创设性的实现教学目标的新过程。在平时的教学过程中，我综合英语的趣味性、实践性，学生的身理、心理特点，并且根据不同课型，创设一些童趣盎然，引人入胜的英语情景，提高他们学习英语的兴趣，在情景中学习英语，感受乐趣。课堂上我结合教学内容，经常创设如下情景：

1．生活情景。人一旦脱离了社会，就学不会语言。生活情景即是把生活中的实际情况搬入课堂中来。例如介词这课时，我引导同学们去回忆他们自己的房间里有什么，并用他们所学的知识来编对话，他们尽自己的所能在那里和其他同学交流，尽量的表现自己，不仅学到了知识，更增加了学习的信心，体验了学习英语的乐趣。

2．体态情景。如果我们教英语只是一味的命令学生读、写，很

快就会厌倦，不仅达不到学习的目的，还会降低学生学习英语的兴趣。体态情景即教师用面容、手势、姿态等来表达和体现教学内容。体态情景有助于学生理解教学内容并产生进一步学习和参与的欲望。它非常适合我们在教低年级学生学习动物名词的时候用。例如，我们在学习球类单词时，老师可以结合各种球类运动的特点和学生一起模仿、学习，边说边做。这样学生就可以避免枯燥的学习，体验学习的快乐。

3．游戏情景。初一学生好奇、好乐、好胜、好玩，对游戏情有独钟。游戏情景即利用游戏、比赛等方式调动学生积极性，提高学生的学习兴趣。我们可以根据不同课的类型和阶段安排相适应而又有趣的游戏，丰富学生的课堂。这些游戏可以是表演形式的，也可以是比赛形式的。只要是符合新课程标准的，和我们的英语课程相吻合的，有助于学生对知识的掌握和理解的游戏形式，我们老师都可以采用。学生可以通过这些游戏运用和巩固所学的英语知识。形式新颖，丰富多样的游戏更能够让学生体验到学习的愉悦。

六、积极肯定，及时表扬

初一学生的年龄学生大多在12或13岁，这个年龄阶段的孩子活泼、好动、热情、好表现、模仿能力强，有可塑性，但同时有部分学生自控能力差，课堂上注意力不容易集中。若我们教师不去注意这些，一味的满堂灌，学生肯定会觉得学习英语是一件乏味的事情。所以说，我们应该在平时的教学中多观察、多注意，利用他们的心理特点，培养学习英语的热情和兴趣，让他们体会学习英语的兴趣，使他们有足够的学习动力和强力的愿望进行今后的英语学习。

很多时候人的喜悦感是由成功带来的，学生感受学习的快乐大部分来自于学习的成功。他们渴望学习成功带来的喜悦。因此在实际的英语学习中，我们教师就应该肯定学生的学习成果，对学生多表扬，少批评，让学生感受成功，让他们尽量体会学习的快乐。但是，有些学生上课并不是表现的那么积极、向上。对于外来的一种语言，有的学生由于性格原因怕开口，在课堂上“默默无闻”，几乎是扮演着听众的角色。而我们有些教师在课堂上为了达到预定的教学目标，完成教学任务，往往忽视了这些学生，对他们偶尔答非所问的回答不甚满意，匆忙中便找好学生来代替。有的老师甚至会因为学生的错误回答而冷嘲热讽。如果这样做，他们慢慢的对英语的学习会失去兴趣，有的学生还会厌学。那怎样才能调动这部分学生的兴趣，使他们感受到学习英语的快乐呢？

我觉得作为一个老师，我们最不能吝啬的，最能利用的是我们的表扬和赞美。我们如果希望一个学生能有所改变、有所进步，首先是肯定他，再次是表扬他，哪怕是细微的进步，因为表扬的效果往往要比批评好的多。我现在所教的班中有一位学生，她曾经是老师眼中的“差生”。我接他们班的时候发现她的英语作业几乎没有写对的地方，英语的读音也一塌糊涂。前面的英语老师给这位学生的评价非常差，对她几乎是放弃的。我想无论如何我应该做些什么，我不能让这种情况继续下去，一个孩子是一个家庭的希望。一开始，我对她非常严厉，但是我发现她的脾气非常倔。我试着改变方法，我就想方设法的找出她的优点表扬她。比如，她今天做作业了，字写的好了。即使是有时
