第一集《资本无眠》从一个华尔街投资银行的股票交易员斯科特的一天入手,讲述了华尔街运作的内幕。片中的那位交易员供职于T3公司,他每天早上5点坐第一班轮船从家到华尔街上班。除了交易股票,斯科特还负责录制当天的市场分析。互联网的广泛应用已经将全球的资本市场紧密的联系在了一起,他录制的节目也以直播形式通过互联网和电视迅速传递到了世界各地。可以说,现在的华尔街的钟声牵动的不止是华尔街,他牵动的是整个世界,资本进入无眠时代。
