This afternoon, I saw the Disney animation Cinderella again.I can’t remember how many times to see such fairy tale since I were a child, maybe have more than dozen.I like the beautiful and elegant Cinderella and the gentle and handsome prince.The truth of love came after they overcame many difficulties made by Cinderella’s stepmother and her two ignorant daughters.They got married and hence had a happy life.It seemed that they are the perfect match in the world.In this fairy tale that marrying a rich and handsome man had become thousands of million girls’ dreams, and we can see many successful example like actress XU ZI QI and the world famous couple Britain princess Diana and her prince Charles.But Diana’s failed marriage, prince’s derailment and tragedy death are the alarm to all the girls that there is not absolutely happy existed in the world.Do you have your favorite fairy tale when you were a child? I still remember many like white snow princess, ugly duck, thumb girl……they filled my childhood and let me still believe the world is beautiful and colourful.I don’t dream to marry a princess, but I still dream that I can find my true love one day, he maybe not handsome and rich, but if I love him, I would be the only Cinderella to him.I don’t know how about boys think of fairy tales in their childhood, but maybe they like supermen and other boy-style animations.In my opinion, another appeal in Cinderella is the dressing.Everything liked magic such as Glass high heel shoe, beautiful evening dress, pumpkin coach and so on.In fact, it is indeed magic.It told us it was just magic and didn’t take it serious, but I still believe in magic will happen to me one day, haha~~ I never see violence, thriller and ghost film with the reason that there is no need to pay money and time to buy nightmares.

第一场:灰姑娘家旁白:Long, long ago, there was a cute girl, her name is Cinderella, her mother was dead, and her father loved her very much.很久很久以前,有一个可爱的女孩,她的名字是灰姑娘,她的妈妈去世了,但是爸爸非常爱她。
父亲: Dear daughter!These presents are for your birthday!Do you like them? 亲爱的女儿,这些是给你的生日礼物!你喜欢吗?
灰姑娘: Yeah, thank you, Dad.(开心地接过)是的,谢谢您爸爸!

大臣(2):(将头转向王子)Which one do you like? 你喜欢哪一个?

Cinderella课例分析
主题的确定:
本月的研究内容是搜集课外故事教学材料,创编出第二篇故事(取材自西方的经典童话故事)。我选择了学生耳熟能详的童话故事《Cinderella》。
文本的创编:
在创编文本之前,我认真地在网络上搜索相关的资料。其中,以下的资料非常有用:资料
一、《Cinderella》英文原著;资料
二、来自Walt Disney的英文原声电影《Cinderella》;资料
三、根据小学生英语水平改编的英语配图故事《Cinderella》。
《Cinderella》的英文原著让我的创编有了依据,我在创编过程中都尽可能地使用原著中的语言,如“ball”、“the magic stops”、“wait”、“What time is it?”、“It’s my shoe.”、“Your foot is too big.”、“It fits!”。因为我觉得原著的语言是比较地道和纯正的。只要是学生学过的或是学习难度较低的都可以在新创编的故事中被保留。
《Cinderella》的原声电影提供了一些场景的图片,其中直观的影像让我了解了故事中人物会产生的情绪变化和肢体动作。这部电影中仙女教母变魔法时说的咒语也被我运用到了这节课中。电影中人物的对白给我的创编打开了思路。
《Cinderella》的配图故事给我提供了图片素材,因为这则故事是根据小学生的水平改编的,所以其配图也是属于卡通类型的,人物造型很可爱、场景描绘很简洁。这样一来,我就可以根据其中的配图来进行文本的创编。
教学过程的设计:
根据故事的文本,我确定了本课的教学目标:
1.To grasp these words: Cinderella, ball, magic, with.2.To use the pattern: … can ….Can …? 3.To act out the story “Cinderella”.然后我开始构思这节课。由于这个故事对于学生来说是耳熟能详的,学生对于其中的人物和情节都了解得非常清楚,所以,我可以根据故事发生的过程引领着学生来推测人物的语言。我把人物的对话都变成了填空题,变成一种开放式的对话练习,引导学生去猜测不同人物说的话。
在课的一开始,我会引导学生观看一段视频(截取自电影),视频的内容是Cinderella的身世、背景。关于Cinderella这个名字的产生,我还是动了一番脑筋的。我根据原著中的情节,呈现了如下的语言:There are cinders all over your dress.Cinders for Cinderella.That’s your new name.我觉得这样可以让学生知道Cinderella一词的来源,又能使他们知道cinder一词的意思,可以拓展他们的知识。在学生练读了这个单词后,我将引导学生模仿两个姐姐对Cinderella发号施令,目的是为了让学生练习运用这个新学的名字。紧接着,是舞会邀请函的呈现和一组对话,学生分别扮演Cinderella以及她的姐姐。之后,仙女教母运用魔法帮助了Cinderella。在教学magic一词时,我不仅会自己挥舞魔棒、示范了夸张的变魔法的动作,还会请一些学生扮演老鼠被施展魔法后变成马夫。这样一来,学生在变魔法时就会非常有感觉了,学习过程也就会充满乐趣。在王子邀请灰姑娘共舞的环节中,我会特别强调王子的动作和语气,尽可能地让学生融入到舞会的情境之中。之后,我会呈现一只钟,引导学生表演两人的对话。在试鞋的环节中,我将会准备好一只玻璃鞋,让学生扮演王子给人试鞋。
根据我的教学设计,我准备了以下的道具:一顶纸做的皇冠,一只玻璃鞋,一根魔法棒,一件围裙。并且制作了相应的课件,打印好了故事材料。
课程的实施和评价: 这节课我在五(6)班实施了教学。五(6)班非常擅长表演,整节课还是比较成功的。但是我感觉参与的面还是不够广。最后的处理有些仓促,因为我感觉到时间不太来得及,It fits.还是有一定难度的,应该强调一下,让学生练习一下。
关于这篇故事的创编和相应教学的实施,总结如下:
一、故事的改编:
(1)尽可能多地搜集相关的资料。在创编之前要尽可能多地搜索相关的资料,因为相关资料不仅可以打开自己的思路,还可以为故事的语言提供范本。资料的形式可以是多种多样的,文字、图像、音频、视频,形式要尽可能丰富多样。在改编《Cinderella》这个故事前,我搜索了各种形式的资料,这使得我对故事的改编更为有章可循。
(2)敢于打开思路、对故事进行改编。在搜索资料的过程中,我发现同一个故事可以有多种不同的表现形式。有时为了更好地适应使用者的需要,故事的内容会有不同程度的改动。所以,我觉得作为一个改编者,在保证原版故事基本情节不变的基础上,完全可以更大胆地打开自己的思路,根据自己的需要对故事进行改编。就像我看到的小学生版《Cinderella》配图故事,这个故事中继母从始至终都没有出现,但是这根本不影响故事本身。于是我马上想到可以运用这篇故事的配图,我只需要将之前文本中继母说的话变成两个姐姐说的话就可以了。
(3)精简故事场景,降低表演难度。有些故事较长,其中的场景比较多,无法在一课时的教学中完成。这时候有两种方式,一种方式是保留这些场景、延长教学实践(如一课时变为两课时),还有一种方式是精简故事场景,删除一些可有可无的场景、也可以合并一些类似的场景。比如说,在处理这篇故事的时候,我把两个姐姐拿着裙子炫耀的场景就被删除了,又把仙女教母变魔法和交代魔法停止时间的场景合并了,还把灰姑娘来到舞会的场景删除了。
(4)反复斟酌语言。故事中的语言不仅要原汁原味,还要符合五年级学生的实际英语水平。这就需要教师不断地去读故事,去思考、分析和比较,选择最适合学生的语言。
(5)精心录制配音。地道的配音可以更好地吸引学生的注意力、增加他们对故事的喜爱、为学生的模仿表演提供更好的范本。为了体现不同角色的不同语气、语调,教师可以请不同的人来录音,在录音时可以参考电影中各个角色的配音。
二、实施故事教学:
(1)让学生充分地融入情境。在开展故事教学时,学生如果能充分地融入情境,那么他们积极的学习情感就会很容易地被激发起来,学生也就更能够主动地投入到学习活动中,他们会有更大的收获。教师应想方设法让学生融入到故事情境中,可以通过以下的方法来实现:播放相关视频,让学生在享受视听的过程中自然地融入到故事情境中;讨论相关话题,逐步展开故事;设置悬念,最后通过故事揭开谜底。
(2)通过开放式的口语练习提高学生的语言表达能力。在练习故事中的语言表达时,教师可以采取这样的方式:给学生提供一些句子的框架,让学生根据故事的情节和人物的个性特征自由发挥,用自己的语言去表现这个故事。这是一种开放式的口语练习,可以很好地锻炼学生的口语表达能力。
(3)在学生分小组练习前可引导学生一起表演故事。对于五年级的学生来说,分角色表演故事还是有一定的难度的,其困难之处不仅在于语言,还在于表演。所以,在学生分小组练习之前,教师可以引领着学生一起来表演这个故事,这不仅可以给学生一个明确的示范,使得他们接下去的排练能有章可循;又可以帮助他们更好地掌握故事的内容,这样的操练是针对全体学生的,因此效率也比较高。
