自我介绍是几乎所有外国语学校面试的首选题型和必答题目,它可以让面试官了解孩子的基本情况,也能通过自我介绍看出孩子的英语功底以及沟通表达能力。

知识点2:自我介绍的题型

自我介绍一般分为两部分:用英语进行2-3分钟的自我介绍;回答老师介绍中的问题。

1、用英语自我介绍

要求学生介绍自己,或者介绍自己的父母。介绍父母的时候有可能让学生随便发挥,也可能要求孩子用一个或几个词来形容父母,并给出解释。

2.即兴提问

根据孩子的自我介绍做进一步“追问”,由于这个是因人而异的,因此内容和形式都不固定,非常灵活。

比如孩子说自己喜欢音乐,面试官就可能和他聊聊他喜欢的音乐类型,或者近来最红火的一场演唱会;又如孩子奥数突出,面试官可能就会顺水推舟地接着开始问关于奥数学习的问题。

4.报考原因:一定要说明为什么要报考该校。这一点不要泛泛而谈说我喜欢这个学校之类的。

5.兴趣爱好:也可以讲讲一些特长,比如篮球,舞蹈,乐器。当然这里也不是说一句话“I’m good at dancing”就完了,若参加过一些比赛拿过一些名次最好就讲出来,或者参加过什么演出,进过校队之类的。让你的特长更有说服力。

6、家庭,性格,习惯:谈论家庭的内容主要是家庭人员数,家庭成员等,性格和习惯的内容最重要的一点就是贴近真实,让老师更了解你。注意一些不太好的习惯,比如很爱打游戏,不爱做作业的,学生们尽量不要谈及。

Step1.了解面试中的口头作文

一、口头作文考情分析

口头作文也是外国语学校面试常见题型。

按内容可分为人物篇、写事篇。

按形式可分为:

(1)命题作文,介绍人物或事物、发表观点等;

(2)看图说话。

二、口头作文失分点

1、叙述或描述不够全面,没有涵括题目要求的表述所有内容,词数不足;

2、语言结构简单,词汇贫乏,上下文意思不够连贯

3、出现较多的词汇、语音和语流错误。

4、叙述或描述与语境、功能和目的不甚适应,多处出现不遵守语言交际规则的地方。

一、朗读的考情分析

朗读短文主要考察学生的语音语调,短文理解和口语表达能力。历年试题中朗读的短文字数在70~110左右,题材较广,问题为4个左右。

朗读时,同学们应注意语速适中,不要过快,以至于单词发音不清楚,也不要过慢。连贯地朗读,语音清晰,语调优美,充满情感。回答问题时,先思考一下,不要急于给出答案。

分析历年朗读材料考题,可以发现,对于人物或事物的议论在面试题中占有稳定的席位。无论阅读材料怎么变,所出的问题总有那么一道需要同学们表达自己的观点。从考官的角度来看,这类题目一来可以看出学生是否读懂材料,是对英语水平的检测;二来通过具体的回答内容可以考查到学生的逻辑思维和语言组织能力以及一些价值判断,一举两得。

二、朗读短文失分点

1、单词读音不标准。

2、没有掌握连读等技巧,朗读不流畅。

一、语音语调要正确

大部分学生在朗读文章时,单词的发音都很正确,基本不成问题。但是在语调方面把握得好就不容易了,不少同学把文章读得如同凉白开一样平淡,没有高低起伏,没有抑扬顿挫,没有情感浸润,而这些正是朗读部分考查的重要标准。

要想有所提高,最好的办法是跟着录音走,一个句子里哪里要重读或是升调,哪里要轻读或是降调,听录音找差距,然后尽量地模仿,在朗读时适当地加上一些感情色彩,如高兴、悲伤、快乐、忧愁等情感变化,相信一定会给面试官留下深刻的印象。

二、语速要适中

文章的内容其实很简单,所以不少同学就不知不觉地提高了语速,忽略了句子之间以及段落之间的停顿,顾不上理解文章,最终导致在下一部分时回答不上问题。因此,同学们一定要注意:适当放缓语速,注意句子和段落之间的停顿,这不仅在朗读上显得有松有紧,而且更重要的是能够加强对文章的理解,以免在回答问题环节丢分。另外还有一个好处,就是能够多扫几眼后面跟着的单词,比如在读“The earliest……”这个句子时,要留意到“the”的发音要改变,但是如果读得太快,则可能忽略这一点,口语模拟时就有同学中招了。

三、万一遇到‘新单词’不会读该怎么办?

读文章时如果碰到了不会读的新单词,这个时候千万不要慌张,可以停下来向考官询问,“Sorry, I don’t know how to read this word.”保证自己口语面试全过程的纯英文表达,这也是向面试官展示自己认真专注的另一面,一般考官都会告诉你这个单词的发音,毕竟这不是在考你的词汇量,碰到不认识的单词很正常,你所要做的就是把会读的部分读好就足够了。

四、回答问题要简洁

在读完文章后,回答问题应该尽量简洁、准确、肯定。在充足的时间内,可以用简单的长句来回答,即“主语+谓语+宾语”结构,反之则可以用短语来简洁回答,针对相应的when, what, where, how, why部分,准确定位,给出正确答案。Step3 真题演练

这三个问题不是按时间顺序从过去到现在再到将来,而是从现在到将来再到过去。其奥妙在于:如果你被雇用,雇主选中的是现在的你,他希望利用的是将来的你,而这将来又基于你的历史和现状。

1.了解自我介绍的分类

自我介绍根据介绍人的不同,可以分为主动型自我介绍和被动型自我介绍两种类型。

(1)在社交活动中,在欲结识某个人或某些人却无人引见的情况下,即可自己充当自己的介绍人,将自己介绍给对方。这种自我介绍叫做主动型的自我介绍。

(2)面试自我介绍,将自己的某些方面的具体情况进行一番自我介绍。这种自我介绍则叫做被动型的自我介绍。

2.面试自我介绍的内容,包括本人姓名、供职的单位及部门、担负的职务或从事的具体工作等三项,又叫工作式自我介绍内容的三要素,通常缺一不可。①姓名。应当一口报出,不可有姓无名,或有名无姓。

②单位。单位及部门,如可能最好全部报出,具体工作部门有时可以暂不报出。

③职务。担负的职务或从事的具体工作,有职务最好报出职务,职务较低或者无职务,则可报出目前所从事的具体工作。

(1)控制时间

①态度要保持自然、友善、亲切、随和,整体上讲求落落大方,笑容可掬。②充满信心和勇气。忌讳妄自菲薄、心怀怯藐。要敢于正视对方的双眼,显得胸有成竹,从容不迫。

③语气自然,语速正常,语音消晰。生硬冷漠的语气、过快过慢的语速,或者含糊不清的语音,都会严重影响自我介绍者的形象。

(3)追求真实。进行自我介绍时所表述的各项内容,一定要实事求是,真实可信。过分谦虚,一味贬低自己去讨好别人,或者自吹自擂,夸大其词,都是不

足取的。
