出国英语要求首先要过语言关，如果其他万事俱备的话，就比较好办了，弄清楚自己所申请的专业对语言的要求，语言、文学类专业要求雅思的分高，平均分必须7分以上（我个人认为雅思比较难考）。而如果去北美国家如美国加拿大等要考托福和GRE买一本相应的指导书（有关出国留学的）或参加各种雅思学校培训一下比较好，可以有志同道合的朋友，比较有动力，信息也相对灵通。剩下的就是努力了，没关系，有很多3个月内就成功攻克雅思、托福、GRE的例子，只要方法得当，没问题的。
一般来说，对理工科留学生出国英语要求有时可以低一些，学校更看中的是申请者的学术和研究能力;而文科、商科的要求一般较高。英国留学对英语的要求和条件。一般中国高中在校学生的英文水平尚达不到在英国直接入读正规课程的英语水平。

如果学生能够取得GRE成绩，会对部分理科专业的申请有所帮助。但是德国大学普遍对GRE的成绩没有强制要求。还想提醒同学们，如果对直接申请德国硕士没有十足把握，可考虑增加其他有英语授课专业的小语种国家，如荷兰、挪威等，以提高申请成功率。
