误区一：匆忙下笔，准备不足。

很多学生作文时只是匆匆看上几眼就写，想到哪里就写到哪里，随心所欲。结果是条理不清，杂乱无章，尤其是写错了单词或句子时，只能勾勾划划，卷面不整，直接影响了得分。

应对策略：按照正确的步骤构思，一般步骤如下：

1．认真审题。审题包括要点、格式、词数及表达的中心、注意事项等信息，都要一一斟酌，否则会导致偏题离题。

误区三：中心不明，切题不准。

英语写作与中文写作一样，也要求文章主旨明确，即要有一定的中心事件，并体现一定的中心。但很多学生的英语作文却结构松散，言之无物，表现为典型的“流水帐”。

其主要原因在于学生动手写作前缺乏必要的审题环节，对于所要写作的内容、文章所要体现的主旨等认识不足。所以，尽管有些考生语言功底不错，语言表达流畅，但却因“切题”不够准确，捕捉信息不够全面而导致不能拿到高分。

应对策略：

准确审题，明确中心。不以“写足字数”为目的，而要写出中心事件，突出个人情感和态度。如2008年达州市中考英语要求以“A Letter to the Children in Wenchuan ”为题作文，就要首先明确对文体的要求“letter”，即要以书信的格式来写；其次对内容的要求，以 “关心、同情、支持、鼓励”为中心写作。

误区四：忽略文化差异，张冠李戴。

很多学生由于忽视中西方文化差异，生硬的按照汉语的习惯表达，出现明显的中式倾向，降低了作文的质量。这是中考作文中最常见的错误。请看下面的例子：

误区五：想象成分太多，冗长罗嗦。

有些学生在写作中往往担心文章的长度不够，再加上作文要求中有“可适当增减细节，不可字对字地翻译”，于是误解为可以毫无边际的想象，致使离题万里，乱了主题。

应对策略：

“不可字对字”其实只要示学生不可简单照译，并非不可翻译。学生只要在理解写作要示的甚而上以翻译为主，在要点之间加上简练、恰当与必要的关联词和关联句即可；在把握要点的甚而上，对细节稍加充实即可。

误区六：忽视细节，无谓失分。

有些学生作文是只重视大方面的得分点，却忽视了诸如书写、标点、段落安排、大小写等细节得分点。

应对策略：

1．写好开头和结尾。一般开头不要写得太啰嗦，要找到恰当的切入点，快带入题，简洁明快。结尾同样不拖泥带水，最好还能适当评论，表达感情，写出点晴之笔。
