要提升高职院校的办学质量,提高高职学生的市场竞争力,评价方法的改革是不容忽视的重要环节。

一、商务英语专业课程考核评价体系中存在的问题

1.考核内容重知识轻能力 考试内容仍局限于认教材和课堂教学中的简单知识技能,侧重考核知识的识记和掌握,而对于高级技能,如交际、听说、写作、论辩、交流技能等没有引起足够的重视。

2.考核方式过于单一 考核大多采用闭卷考试的形式,而闭卷考试具有较大的局限性,不能全面完整地考核学生的素质结构,如合作协调能力、探究能力、口头表达能力、交际能力、社会活动能力等,对学生创新能力起不到应有的激励与促进作用。

3.注重终结性忽视过程性评价

学生期末总结性考试成绩往往占课程总成绩 70%左右,这种以期末成绩为主确定学生课业成绩的做法,导致学生不注重平时学习,过分依赖期末死记硬背搞突击,使考试的导学促教功能难以发挥。

4.评价主体单一化 基本上是采用教师评价学生的模式。与学生表现相关的平时成绩往往凭教师的主观经验给出,缺乏学生的互评与自我评价,更缺乏企业对学生的评价,致使评价信息来源单一。

二、构建商英专业课程考核多元评价体系

1.评价主体的多元化。

第一,学生自评。即学生根据自己在评价项目中的表现,对照评价标准,给自己评定成绩,并写出评语。学生自评,有助于教师了解学生在项目进行过程中的想法和困难,也有助于学生发现自己的不足,找到改进措施,提高学习效率。

第二,小组互评。即同组的同学对照评价标准,对该组每位同学在项目中的表现做出评价,给出成绩,并写出评语。这有利于学生间的相互交流,有利于学生从不同层面、不同角度认识问题,并培养团队合作精神。第三,企事业用人单位参与对学生的评价。校企共同制订评价标准,共同实施评价:校企对学生的校内实训、校外顶岗实习的表现,如实践能力、语言应用能力、职业道德素养、解决问题能力等做出共同评价。这样可以使高职商务英语专业了解用人单位对学生的要求,从而对自己的教学做出相应的改进和调整,培养出符合市场需要的人才。

2.评价方法的多元化。除一次性的闭卷考试外,还采用口试、讨论、观察、问卷调查、小论文、对照组评价,以及各种技能竞赛表现评价,如函电拟写竞赛、商务谈判比赛;参加各种活动表现性评价,如模拟广交会、企业专家讲座、担任展会志愿者等。同时,采取定性评价与定量评价相结合、形成性评价与终结性评价相结合的评价方法。定量评价通过考试,以数字来评定一个人的发展状况;定性评价通过描述性语言对学生的表现进行定性分析和综合评判。形成性评价是通过诊断教育方案或计划、教育过程与活动中存在的问题,为正在进行的教育活动提供反馈信息,以提高实践中正在进行的教育活动质量的评价。总结性评价是在教育活动发生后关于教育效果的判断。它在课程结束后进行,衡量课程质量。

3.评价内容的多元化。高职高专的培养目标是生产、建设、管理、服务第一线具有综合职业能力和全面素质的高级技术应用型人才。因此,评价系统不能只限于学生学习成绩的评价,而忽视其他方面,如道德、情感、态度、意志和体质等的评价。高职商务英语专业的学生评价主要包括三方面内容:学业评价、素质评价与能力评价。第一,学业评价。指根据各科标准,对学生的学业成绩进行评价。它主要侧重于对学生英语知识掌握程度的考核,如学生是否具备英语语音、词汇、语法、篇章基础知识和听、说、读、写、译等方面的知识。第二,素质评价。指对学生的职业道德和素养(爱护设备、工具、场地环境等)、价值观、敬业精神、保密意识、学习兴趣、学习习惯、心理素质、意志品质、体质等各方面的评价。
