李莱茵，一个深圳人都不会陌生的名字，凭借英语方面的出色才能，初一时便问鼎中央台视台第四届“希望之星”全国总决赛中学组冠军；2005年，第四届全国中学生英语演讲比赛第一名，并作为中国唯一代表到英国伦敦参加演讲比赛，成绩优异；2007年初，应美国兰登书屋邀请一个月内生动地翻译了《神奇树屋》系列儿童科幻丛书的其中六本；2007年，全国第二届中小学艺术展演活动的主持人„„她爱好广泛，通晓古筝、钢琴、舞蹈、美声，擅长奥数、田径„„2007年3月，多才多艺而清秀静美的她同时接到美国普林斯顿大学、乔治顿（Georgetown）大学、波士顿塔次（Tufts）大学三所美国名牌大学录取通知书，她最终选择了连续八年排名全球第一的美国普林斯顿大学。
问：参加希望之星英语风采大赛给你留下的感触是什么？
答：应该是2003年中央台视台第四届“希望之星”英语风采大赛。因为是我第一次参加大型的比赛。那次比赛过后，我就想：其实那届同台比赛的选手能力都很强很优秀，可能是自己运气稍稍好一点吧。那次比赛让我觉得更自信了，发现之前很多不敢去尝试的东西，原来真正去做的时候，远没有想象中的那么难。问：作为希望之星的获奖选手，请你对今年的希望之星选手一些指导，或者传授一些你的绝招吧。
答：其实也说不上指导，更谈不上绝招，只是根据我的经验，给出一些建议吧，希望对大家有用。希望之星作为全国性的大赛，考的内容比较全面，这就要求选手的知识面要全，视野要开阔。而这些主要是靠平时积累，把学习重点放在知识点的梳理上，多总结和归纳，整理成一些小贴士，利用一些比如说排队的时间复习。而在英语方面呢，是要注意词汇的累计，我个人就是通过外语片、小说这些途径累计词汇。而且要把那些词汇与汉语以及自己的实际生活联系起来。这样，记忆起来，会比较不容易忘记。
至于比赛，我想说的是，不要为比赛而比赛，因为比赛不是证明自己的唯一途径。把心态调整好，当作自己成长过程中的必然经历会比较好。这样，也更容易超常发挥。
问：邦德教育一直以“让孩子更优秀”为教育使命，最后，能请你谈谈对我们邦德教育的认识或建议吗？
答：我很早就知道邦德教育，特别是进入深中后，班上有很多同学都是邦德教育的学员，他们本身就很强，参加邦德的培优之后，他们变得更强更全面。这从一个侧面在年级、班级内形成了一种良性的竞争氛围。记得有一次去邦德，在教师办公室的时候，偶然看见了一些为学生准备的试卷，当时给我最大的感觉就是专业、系统、全面。同时，邦德教育承办的本届希望之星英语风采大赛深圳赛区的选拔赛，吸引了越来越多爱好英语的同学前来参赛，充分展示自己的才能。在2008年那届希望之星复赛选手的交流会上，我深深地感觉到选手们的实力都很强。我也在此祝愿所有的参赛选手赛出好成绩。
问：请你对想要出国的深造的学弟学妹们一些建议吧。
答： 我个人的看法是，国外大学录取除了考基本的英语水平（SAT和托福成绩）外，更看重考生的个性化、思想度以及“影响力”。也就是说，美国高校招生时不仅看学生成绩，还注重学生的兴趣、能力以及社会责任感。所以建议有意向出国留学和想让自己更优秀的同学们，可以多尝试参加一些活动，让自己的各方面能力得到锻炼，因为经历就是最好的财富，在成长过程中应该多给自己一些具有挑战性的机会，这样，会让我们成长得更从

二、家长或老师文章条条道路通罗马——揭李迪家长谈孩子的英语学习
中国家庭都十分重视孩子的教育。作为家长，总希望为自己的子女找到好的学习方法，并产生好的结果。在决定孩子何时开始学英语，采用何种模式进行教育等问题上，我们也曾经陷入过茫然。事实上，每个孩子都有各自自身的特点，不可能有千篇一律的规律去模仿。我们曾走过一些弯路，也积累了一些心得，说一说也许对其他家长有一点借鉴作用。
孩子学习英语的大致经历
在孩子上小学前，我们曾试图进行早期智力开发，在尝试科普、音乐等方面学习的同时，也不时的灌输一些英语单词，零零星星地让孩子接受英语，但似乎效果不佳。虽然孩子也能说出一些孤立的单词，始终不成气候。
上小学后，我们认为学习拼音很重要，担心英、汉字母会混淆不清，故未刻意去强调英语学习。直到上小学三年级时，孩子无意间告诉我们，在我们所工作的大学校园内，有一个“小星星英语启蒙班”，并且说他的一些同学参加了学习。我们反问他是否有兴趣，他表示愿意试试看。从那时起，孩子才正式开始了英语学习。
这个英语启蒙班，每周只上一次课，也就是周五放学后到临近小学校园的另一个教室学习一节课，无须家长陪同，也无须接送。经过一年的学习，打下了孩子英语学习的基础。后来，因该班地址迁远，我们才放弃了继续跟班。
有了一定的基础后，我们买回一些英语教学的影碟，先从《新英语900句》开始，然后到《艾丽丝漫游记》、《黑神驹》《狮子王》、《白雪公主》，直到后来的《走遍美国》等。通过比较系统地学习这些教材，孩子的英语水平才有了比较大的提高。有了一定的英语水平后，我们将中央电视台10套节目《希望英语杂志》等作为泛听内容，孩子特别喜欢Elyn和Rebecca主持的Let’s talk等节目。这些活动对孩子的听力培养起到了很大的帮助作用。
我们的一些体会
儿童的英语启蒙教育，力求欢快活泼、寓教于乐：
记得小孩在上“小星星英语班”时，年轻的女老师引着 孩子们一边讲，一边配合各种形体动作，又是唱，又是跳，学习中还参插着有趣的游戏、生动的故事，深深地吸引着孩子们。老师还用各种激励形式引导孩子们开口说英语。这种教育方式十分适合于启蒙的孩子，为孩子进一步学习打下了良好的基础。因材施教，避免从众：
时下，为迎合家长教育投资的心理，各种培训班应运而生，以至于当家长的眼花缭乱，无所适从。我们在孩子有了一定英语基础后，并没有热衷于送孩子参加各种培训班。而是根据孩子的自身特点，精心挑选了一些好的声像教材。每一篇课文就是一个生动的故事，无论从场景、人物，到讲解，都是原汁原味的。不仅激发了孩子的学习兴趣，也学到了地地道道的英语。这种学习方式既灵活机动，又省事省钱，也的确为我们节约了很多时间。
从听、说入手，多多实践：
从传统的英语教学模式看，多注重能认多少单词，会多少语法。往往学下来的都是比较生硬的“哑巴”英语。孩子学习英语应避免这种弊端，宜从听、说入手，多模仿，多实践，让孩子置身于英、美儿童的角色中，待到一定程度后才逐步接受读、写训练，使之听说读写全面发展。
