My name is LiHongbo,I come from Taiyuan,Shanxi province ,which with many famous historic and cultural sites.Welcome everyone to visit my beautiful hometown.

I’m a very outgoing and friendly boy who have l ots of hobbies like basketball especially to make friends with everyone.

My today’s speech topic is “The power of smile”

A smile has many many means:pleasure,welcome,happiness,and more, And it’s part of an universal body language that doesn’t need any extra interpretation. Smile is a very simple and easy thing to do.

As ereryone knows,butterfly effect is that a small butterfly shake its wings,then even lead to a terrible tornado in Pacific .

The smile is all the same,not only make you more confident,but also affect your friends,parents,and the people who around you to smile all the time.

A smile is a light in the window of the soul

i’m glad to be here to share with you my definition of success.

when we mentioned the success, the usual worldly criteria are wealth, fame, high social status and something other like that. in reality, we can’t deny t these things in some way. but personally, i believe that succeis the realization of people’ hopes and wishes. and to live with a high ideal is a successful life. it is not what one does, but what one tries to do, that make a man strong. so i believe that succeis ninety-nine percent mental attitude, it calls for lots of positive quality: effort, love, diligence, efficiency and so on. i think the successful life always have these characters. if a person inherits his family’s millions and leads an easy life, he is not a successful person in material terms, it just can be said that he has the smooth way of life, he is lucky in some way, but that is not the succe.unceasing effort is the price of success. no matter what is the result, we always can get more from the process. what we should do is that insisting on our goals or dreams and always encourage

ourselves to challenge more, to hold the opportunities, never give up. it sounds like si-mp-le, but it is really hard to do. also the key points of the success.

relatively speaking, in our daily life, succewould be rather si-mp-le. for me, i’m standing here to take part in the speech competition is somehow also success. as i’m a easy to suffer from stage fright, i choose to hold this chance, my goal is my own character training——to be more confident, to have more courage to front such situation, i really do it, i have truly gained by participating, i’m success.

Have you ever watched the famous cartoon“Happy sheep and gray wolf”,which captures the hearts of millions of kids and even teenagers.I'm sure you can't forget the vivid character---Red Wolf,which is a snippy,violent and hot-tempered wife with her symbolic action:throw a pan to her husband and shout out “ go and catch the sheep!or never come back”.In fact,this is a truly reflection that female are gradually dominating the society.Girls are the bosses.According to a report by CNN in 2011,women in the US earned 59 percent of all college degrees,surpassing men by almost 3 to 2.while in 1970,41 years ago,men earned that percentage of all college degrees.Similarly, in China,it's estimated that female college students surpassed male students in numbers on campus for the first time in history in 2011,which accounts for 51%.Although we,the students in WHUT,can't feel it,because the majority here are males.But think about the fact that,the female ratio of freshmen in Huazhong Normal University this year is 70%.So next time,when you're free,why not go to Huazhong Normal University,just walk around the campus,and you will enjoy a different scenery.Back to our topic, Gu haibing,professor in the School of Econmics at Renmin University of China,attributes this to the education system.He says girls gain the edge with their better discipline and memory-based studying method “However , a gender imbalance on campus caused by female students outperforming their male counterparts reflects a global trend.The 2012 Olympics have been hailed as the ”Year of the women“,according to Time magazine,because 58 of the US team 103 medals were won by women and for the first time Muslim women from Saudi-Arabia,Qatar and Brunei ere allowed to compete in the event.Furthermore,as we have known, Madame Curie is one of the greatest scientists around the world,and she is a woman;”Iron lady "Margaret thatcher is the one of the most prominent politician,and she is a woman;Oprah Winfrey is the household hostess of talk show,and she is a woman.And examples like this can be taken endlessly as you want.So here ,the men compatriot,watch out,we are fallen behind!
