一、教材分析

本课时是小学英语新PEP教材三年级下册Unit3 At the zoo.A Let’s learn的内容。所要掌握的单词和句型与学生的生活实际十分贴近,学生对动物也比较感兴趣。因此,在教学中创设情境,通过介绍和描述动物的外面特征把知识点贯穿其中,激发了学生学习的兴趣,让学生在教师创设的语言环境中进行听、说、读、写训练,以此培养学生的综合语言运用能力。

二、学生分析

1、三年级的学生经过一学期的英语学习,部分学生初步具备一定的英语基础,掌握了一定的单词、句型,能在老师的指导下开展简单的合作学习,但依然有部分学生的英语基础基本为零,课上需多加引导。

2、在现代教育技术逐渐普及的今天,传统的靠一支粉笔、一台录音机和几张图片,重复地带读和跟读的方式已经不能满足学生的学习需求。因此,我们要充分发挥和利用现代教育技术的优势,通过多媒体课件和班班通电子设备创设情境,提供相关信息,让学生在一定的语言环境中学习和操练新知识,并逐渐学会在真实的语境中去运用。现代教育技术的使用,可以帮助我们提高课堂效率。

3、学生在学习单词时,如果只是不断地重复朗读、背诵,在机械的操练中去学习的话,单词往往记不住或不能长时间地记住。为此,在单词教学中我们需要教给学生一种或多种记忆单词的方法或策略。例如:根据发音规则去记;根据合成词的规则去记;或挖掘单词中一些趣味去帮助学生记忆等。这样,也许单词教学的效果会更加明显一些,学生也乐意学。

三、教学目标

(一)语言知识与技能目标:

1、能听、说、认读几个形容词:fat, thin, tall和short.并能在实际生活中正确运用。

2、能够听懂形容词的意思,并能根据指令性语言做出正确的反应。

教学重点:能听、说、认读几个形容词:fat, thin, tall和short.教学难点:能听、说、认读几个形容词:fat, thin, tall和short.并在句子中运用。

(二)情感态度目标

激发学生热爱自然,热爱生活的积极情感,培养爱护动物的良好品质。

(三)学习策略目标

学生通过生词和游戏互动,提高主动合作意识,并在老师的指导下学习一些单词记忆的策略。

四、教学方法

通过听听做做和歌谣复习旧知识,以旧带新引入新知,创设去动物园的情境,让学生在情境中学习和操练新单词,同时渗透单词策略记忆教学,让学生学会发挥联想,巧记新单词。

(一)Warming up(导入)

1.Let’s chant.让学生观看三年级上册Unit4 B Let’s do,跟着音乐一起来Act like an elephant…唤醒学生对动物的记忆,为接下来的学习做铺垫,同时也可以起到激发兴趣,活跃学习氛围的作用。

设计理念:(歌谣激趣,活跃气氛,引入主题)

2.Free talk and review

教师紧接歌谣问学生:What animals do you know? 学生回答elephant, panda…

T: OK!Let’s play a guessing game.Brain storming(头脑风暴)What animal is it?(教师用幻灯片出示一些动物的图片,快速出现,又快速隐藏,让学生通过瞬时记忆来猜出动物,如果学生还不能猜出该动物,则用动作去示范。)

设计理念:(通过头脑风暴的游戏,激发了学生的思维,又复习了之前学过的动物,为后面的对话学习作准备。同时也让学生感知今天将要学习的新知识。)

(二)Presentation(新课呈现)

规则:教师出示刚学过的四个国家的标志性建筑的图片,把学生分为四组,每组选一名学生上讲台上。教师说出相应国家的英文名,学生快速跑到相应的图片前面说出单词并用手拍图片,最新拍到并正确说出单词的学生所在小组得分。几轮过后,分数最多的组获胜。4.游戏2:消失的图片

规则:教师在课件上叠加放若干张国家国旗及代表性建筑,然后让图片依次消失,看谁能知道消失的图片所代表的国家。看谁回答的又快又准确!回答正确的同学可以得到老师准备的小礼物。5.学唱 “Let’s chant” 歌谣。

教师出示一张男孩的图片,说:“Look,this is a boy”.教师出示一张女孩的图片,说:“Look,this is a girl”。然后把;两张图片放一起,说:“They are good friends.”。

2.激发学生英语学习的兴趣,避免复习课中死气沉沉的课堂氛围。

一、Preparation

1.日常用语练习,简短的师生问候和 问候和Free Talk,让学生快速进入上课状态。

2.播放课本65页的英语chant.让学生听音跟唱。其吟唱内容为本节课的教学活动做好铺垫。(播放课件)

二、Presentation 1.教师随意出示字母卡片,让学生认读。然后找两个同学分别将大小写的字母排序,让学生按顺序读字母,可以分组以开火车的形式进行比赛。

2.播放Let’s sing部分的录音,让学生先听一遍,然后跟唱,学唱的过程也正是学生进一步熟悉字母的过程。

3.凭记忆制作键盘

教师展示一电脑键盘,让学生仔细观察键盘上的一行字母键,两分钟后隐藏键盘,让学生凭记忆排列自己手中的字母卡制作这一行的字母键。同样的方法制作另外两行的字母键。最后看谁制作的最准确。

4.学生制作完毕后,教师把制作好的键盘展示给学生,边讲解边师范正确的指法,引导学生尝试着在自己制作的键盘上找一找。接着教师要求学生练一练,在键盘上边背字母表,边敲击所背的字母。

三、Practice 1.背诵字母表比赛。2.大小写字母搭配练习。

3.字母顺序练习。如找出字母的左邻和右舍的练习。

四、Production 游戏“Keyboard games”。1.Find the letters.2.“Type” the words.教师先在键盘上展示type这个动作,然后键入c-a-t告诉学生这样就输入了单词cat.随后让学生模仿,再练习其他的单词输入。

3.“Type” and sing.让学生试着边唱边敲击键盘上对应的字母,看谁能做到心、手、口协调统一。

教师和学生一起总结本课时的教学重点,回顾学过的知识内容。

五、Homework 1.做基础训练和配套练习中相应的练习。

2.回顾本课时重点复习的词汇和句型,在实际生活中要灵活运用。3.制作一个比较有创意的键盘图卡。
