英语教师口语培训心得体会

今年暑假,全市高、初中、小学英语教师共计400多人在师范开展了英语教师口语培训活动。这几天的培训让我受益匪浅,来自西北师范大学的武和平教授作的《英语教师如何做研究》、《英语教学资源整合与利用》和《基于导学案的课堂教学设计》等报告给我们留下了深刻的印象,武教授的报告理论结合实际,以幽默、诙谐的语言让我们这些一线的教师坚定了走上从事研究这一条幸福的道路的信心;来自大连教育学院的于业宏教授作的《小初衔接英语教学建议》的报告,给我们中小学的英语教师在教学方法方面给予了高屋建瓴的指导。

来自大连教育学院小学教育教师教育中心的于业宏教授给我们做了“外研版《英语》(新标准)小学教材修订解析”的专题讲座,她作为小学英语低年级段教授的编者,对《英语》(新标准)特色,教材修订指导思路,国家《英语课程课标》修订重点、主要内容以及《英语》(新标准3年级起)1-8册的修订版教材的主要变化等逐一做了分析和讲解。

在新修订版教材中,按照《英语新课标》理念进行编写,体现英语新课程标准中的人文性和工具性相统一的原则;以“素质-题材-功能-结构-任务-可行”作为编写原则;以学生为中心,按照学生身心发展规律和兴趣特点设计活动;适应21世纪对新人才的要求,具有前瞻性;从小到高,配套成龙,上下衔接,具有连续性。

新修订后的教材具有以下六大特色:根据《纲要》、《课标》要求,开展素质教育;一条龙有序衔接;认真遵循语言学习规律;充分遵循儿童学习规律;形成性评价和终结性评价相结合;系统提供学习资源。

在《新课标》中明确指出,“义务教育阶段开设英语课程的意义在于使青少年‘更好地了解世界,学习先进的科学文化知识,传播中国文化’,帮他们形成开放、包容的性格,发展跨文化交流的意识与能力”。修订后的教材很好的贯彻了这个理念,突出对中国文化的介绍和弘扬,丰富了以中国传统节日的说明,并将中国传统文化元素融入到活动中;更加注重中外文化的对比,更好地落实了《新课标》中传播中国文化,形成跨文化意识的理念。

《新课标》中要求评价体系“要有利于促进学生综合语言运用能力的发展”,“采用多元优化的评价方式”,并以激励学生的学习兴趣和自信心为主要目的。修订后的教材优化了评价方式,着重评价学生的综合运用能力,其中一大亮点就是增加了形成性评价,在学习过程中,让学生对自己的学习成效进行即时评价,让评价更有层次性,激励学生学习英语的兴趣和自信心。

作为一线的英语教师,平日里忙于教学,真正静下心来思考的时间真的很少,在日常教学中积累的只是教学经验,可能会流于盲目和漫无目的。对于在教学中遇到的问题,也只能凭借自己经验行事。这种黑暗中独行的感觉,真的让人感觉很无助。通过聆听这两天的报告,让我有一种醒悟,原来,我们可以这样做。

下面,对于如何在小学高年级阶段开展词汇教学说一下我的感悟。

众所周知,单词是学习一切语言的基础,只有学好了单词,才能为学习句子打下了坚实的基础,才能更好地理解课文。单词的教学方法很多,可谓仁者见仁,智者见智。这里我要提出的方法,是被我们称之为“情境创设单词教学法”。何谓“情境创设单词教学法”,顾名思义,就是把单词放入我们预先创设的一定的情境中,可以是故事,可以是图片,可以是我们身边所发生的环境,适时地出示。这种教学方法和于教授所说的“记单词但不记‘单’词,也不‘单’记词”不谋而合。

在英语教学中采用创设情境进行单词教学,具有独特的优势,具体表现在以下几个方面:

首先,创设情境进行单词教学能激发学生学习英语的兴趣。

其次,创设情境进行单词教学符合中小学生的心理发展规律。

再次,创设情境进行单词教学可以为下面的课文教学作好铺垫。

创设情境进行单词教学的方法还有很多,比如语言描述法,引导想象法,猜测法等等。我们教师们可以在具体的教学中,因人、因材、因时而异,精心创设最合适、最有效的单词教学情境,让我们的单词教学不再是最让人枯燥、最让人厌烦的机械学习。
