This term I read a book named Twilight, which tells us a love story about a human girl and a vampire family.In the book, a girl named Bella moves to a small town, Forks, which almost rains whole year, to live with her father.At first, she resists everything new, preferring staying at her small word.However, when a gentle attractive boy, Edward comes in her eyes, she feels something different.She starts to fix her eyes on him, on the other side, the boy seems to be angry with her, avoiding her, showing ignorance and performing rudely.Bella has no choice but act like normal person, but where she is, where the bad luck is.However, every time she is in trouble, Edward appears and protects her.This makes her even curious.Relaying her sensitive observation, she finally finds Edward is a vampire!With the secret, she talks to Edward and she finally put all burden and falls in love with Edward.Then they start a completely different and meaning life.About the book
The part which I was impressed most is Bella and Edward’s heart-to-heart talk.Even Bella knows he is a vampire and he has the eve sides which can kill her in a second, she doesn’t afraid because she believes he has something in good.Like she believed, Edward has guilt to his identity so he makes a life by drinking the animals’ blood.It is Bella’s
kindness and trust that help her gain her love and happiness.I most moved part is the family love and I consider it to be scarify.When Bella’s smell raise a vampire hunter attention, which means she is in big danger.The whole family are ready to fight, even that means to die.The moment Bella leaves the town, Edward’s sister whispers to her “we’ll protect you whatever it takes.”
About the language
The book not only helps me enlarge my vocabulary but also show me more oral English: for instant，when a man always says everything is ok, we can call him Mr.So far so good.And when we have some books, we can say I have quantities books.Now, I can say there are so many books in my ears.Read the book, I also learn the culture in different country.When something bad happens, our Chinese people often ask what happen or say something inspiring.But in America, people always say I was sorry and say little word or nothing more.In short, Twilight is a wonderful book to read.任璐 公共管理院 公三班 2013104058

Between humans and vampires can love how deep? Is it enough to beyond the time?
Well, when I read the “Twilight”, I always feel the love between man and vampire is vulnerable, and it‟s not true.Because I think that, humans and vampires belonged to two different worlds originally.When they love each other more deeply, they also can not exceed the limit of the time.Time is a long river before the love.Due to its presence, I feel that our love is tiny and powerless.Bella, the pretty girl, leaved the heat from the sunlight, far away from her mother‟s smile, came to this perennial rainy town which is called Fox.Initially, I thought Bella‟s love to Edward is shallow love and fills an obsession.However, when I read this novel in the end, I find that I am wrong.Bella came with a heavy sense and met Edward Cullen and she fell in love with him without any regrets.In her heart, Edward was her all.Edward said: “I do not want my presence take away any of your things, if I can do that.I hope you do a normal person, I hope your life according to its original look to continue on, when I have died in 1918 when the damned.”
But, it has met and how to live according to its original look to

If it was said that met Edwards was a doom in Bella‟s life, then she would rather doomed.After read this novel, I think that, time is a great thing and it is walk along with its trajectory.But in “Twilight”, Edwards and Bella stand with their own love and life, and they don‟t care what the limits of time at all.Edward asked her: “How do you can easily believe me? After I said „I love you‟ to you for a thousand times, why you can use only one word to destroy my faith?” And Bella replied: “I do not believe that I was worthy enough to have you.I don‟t have anything to keep you.”
Bella‟s heart of exile and loneliness made her humble.She loves Edward at the time.However, when he left, she wanted to bury all the things desperately, she maked her own tears hidden in the darkness.In order to hear the voices of those which are familiar and unreal, she once again risk her life, no, may not be called it life-threatening, and she do not care about death.Because, when Edward was gone, she's happy and future was gone together.He loves Bella too much, and he treasured her soul, so he must be chose to leave.Bella and Jacob will be friends.Bella loves Edward, so she has no power to pay another love.Jacob is a very friendly, sincere friend.In her heart, she hoped that Jacob is like her brother.I think that it is very cruel for Jacob.But many things are not too fussy, isn‟t it? “ I’d never given much thought to how I would die.But dying in the place of someone I love seems like a good way to go.” When reading such moving words, I am completely absorbed in this splendid novel---Twilight.The person who had said such moving words was a 17-year-old girl---Bella, who was a high school student.After reading the whole novel, what impresses me most is not the mysterious vampires family, but the kindhearted and brave girl---Bella.Bella was a 17-year-old girl who has experienced her parents’ divorce.In order not to be an obstacle to her mother’s happiness with her stepfather, Bella firmly chose to move into a new city---Forks to live with her father.Even though she knew that what was waiting for her was the new and strange circumstance, Bella still decided to face all of them fearlessly, which makes me know that Bella is a really thoughtful and considerate girl.As a matter of fact, Bella was just an ordinary human girl who would grow old as time went by and die one day, but Edward was an immortal vampire who had an exceptional and unique strength of reading people’s minds.Actually, some people may wonder why Edward would fall in love with such a delicate human girl, while others may hold a doubtful attitude towards their love story.However, to my mind, I strongly believe that Bella and Edward can lead a happy life.About one thing I am absolutely positive, they can lead a happy life and they needs to confront with various of hardships and setbacks.But why am I so positive about their love story? 感觉作者选取爱德华和贝拉两个人物很是微妙。一边是爱德华经历了一个世纪的孤独，他成熟而慎重地对待感情。他深爱着贝拉，却不会自私的想去改变她，甚至为了保护她而离开她。一边是贝拉，一个懵懂的即将高中毕业的女孩，她享受着那份让她痴狂的爱，她具有所有年轻人都有的执着，对情感忘乎所有的勇敢。从背景来看，似乎有点父女恋的感觉，因为他们的年纪实在是相差太多太远。可是因为爱德华是吸血鬼的身份，在外型上，他们是如此般配的一对情侣，他们有着相同却又完全不同的背景，但是在别人的眼中，他们就是一对相恋的高中生。自古以来，是真爱就要经历磨难，不论是国内还是国外的故事，都是一样的套路在描述爱情。爱德华和贝拉也一样，因为吸血鬼，因为狼人，他们的爱情之路更加曲折，而经历了苦难而依旧紧紧相拥的两个人，其结果是不难猜测的。
人与吸血鬼间的爱能有多深？足以超越时间吗？读《暮色》时，我总觉得人与吸血鬼的爱情是脆弱的，是不真实的。人与吸血鬼，本来就属于两个不同的世界，更何况爱得再深，也深不过时间，时间是横亘在爱前的长河，因于它的存在，我觉得我们的爱情是渺小和无力的。
爱德华说过：“我不希望我的存在夺走你的任何东西，如果我能做到的话。我希望你做一个正常的人，我希望你的生活按它本来的样子继续下去，就当我已经在一九一八年该死的时候死掉了。”但已遇见了，生活怎样按它本来的样子继续下去？离开阳光的热度，离开母亲的笑容，来到这个常年阴雨绵绵的福克斯小镇，如果说遇到你是生命中的劫数，那我宁愿劫数难逃。时间是伟大，它沿着它的轨迹行走，我坚持着我的爱情和人生，才不在乎什么界限呢。时间漫长得苍白，而生命虽短暂，却因有爱而丰富多彩，说不定我们的爱，就像那个词语所说的，虽死犹生。
最初，我以为贝拉对爱德华的爱就是浅浅的爱罢了，是一种迷恋。但一直看下去，才发现自己错了。她怀着沉重的疏离感来到福克斯，遇见了爱德华·卡伦，她无悔地爱上他。在她心里，爱德华就是她的全部，就是她所感受到的未来。我相信，有种爱情是深沉如海的，植根于心底，一生都难以忘却。喜欢暮光之城这个系列，喜欢故事与现实的结合，喜欢爱德华和贝拉爱的执着。其实，换个角度，书中的很多语句，也很值得让人深思。就如爱德华.卡伦所说的“我自己的生命奔跑，我要抢在终点之前挽救对我而言及其珍贵的东西。我自己的生命此刻已经毫无意义了。”这句话除了站在爱情的角度之外，我们还能用于学习，用于生活。

想必“暮光之城”大家已经不再陌生了，暮光之城读后感。它已经不再简简单单是一部青春幻想小说了。而是对青春时光的回想。作为一位家庭主妇，梅尔有精致的文笔，细腻的描写，大胆的幻想，浪漫的气氛，以及那对生活创新的态度，创造了继“哈利·波特”之后，美国全年最畅销的小说。其实这仅仅是一部小说，但也让我痴迷于女学生贝拉的奇幻生活经历。
当然，我更是沉迷于吸血鬼们的生活。他们的速度、力量、苍白的皮肤、几乎完美的外貌、以及许多特殊的生活方式。我最佩服的是卡伦一家对鲜血的克制力，尤其是还继续与人类生活在一起。他们不同于其他流浪血族，能够和谐的与人类相处。所以我想，他们在贝拉心目中已不再是简简单单的吸血鬼了，而是另一种有高尚品质的文明生物。
其实这部作品主要希望书迷们能够对生活有所憧憬。让自己的生活中充满想象。让我们主宰自己的生活，因为梅尔相信我们的生活应该就是想象中的那样。成为我们想成为的人。我想这些就是她在“暮光之城”反复强调的中心和主题。要大胆的去想象，不能被现实生活所局限。
除了梅尔那大胆的的想象给‘暮光’迷们留下深刻的印象外。我喜欢这个系列的书还有另一个原因。在文学界如果可以和J·K罗琳相提并论的话。恐怕只有斯蒂芬妮·梅尔了。她给人们留下的写作风格就是大胆的幻想、精致的文笔，细腻的描写，浪漫的气氛，以及那对生活不同的看法。在暮光之城系列丛书中她借吸血鬼的形象为了表达她对生活那种探险的精神和不去畏惧所有艰难险阻的乐观的生活态度。她就是这样，喜欢用那些听起来就让人惧怕的东西来创造自己浪漫的故事，使我们看到这些东西的另一面。
就拿《暮光之城》中的吸血鬼来说。不管是什么，吸血鬼的外表、声音……都是用来杀缪的。但在梅尔笔下的吸血鬼却给我们留下了善良、善解人意、具有同情心、团结、舍己为人……等等的优良品格的吸血鬼。她影响了这个时代的年轻人，对生活的看法以及世界观。所以，才深受各个年龄段人的喜爱。
但是，斯蒂芬妮·梅尔并不就此停笔，她还在创造属于自己的奇迹。面对一些人的反对，她仍继续努力创造出属于所有人的幻想世界。
我向大家推荐这套书，它就像一把钥匙，开启了我对整个梦幻世界的向往之心；打开了一个真正属于自己的世界；还保留住所有的回忆……
有大概一年的时间，我都不肯看《暮光之城》，原因仅仅是因为我不喜欢《魔戒》和《哈利波特》。我是说书，不是电影。我不是个对电影有审美洁癖的人，我的满足阈限很低，大片我都觉得好看。但对书就不一样了，我对文字更敏感，看见人家写的字，我就能像看见那个人一样。有时人性恶作祟，还会不怀好意地看穿那个人文字背后的矫饰。大部分文字都有矫饰的本能，我的也不例外。就像女人出门前的打扮，裸妆也是妆，再冲淡再平实的文字，也是从繁华绚烂中修炼出来的。
偶然看了《暮光之城》的电影。我对电影的满足域之低，有时让我不好意思说喜欢些什么，因为我几乎没有彻底地不喜欢过某个电影。《暮光之城》无疑可以被归入“好看”的那类，有俊男美女，有又酷又炫的画面，还有禁忌之爱。我很喜欢这片子的调子，带点时尚和年轻劲儿，浪漫得一塌糊涂。因为等不及第二部，只好去找书来读。
结果这个叫做斯蒂芬妮·梅尔的女人让我大吃一惊。我鸡贼地下了电子版，放在mp4小小的屏幕上，不眠不休地看了两个小时，愤然发现那个版本不全，中间丢了一大半，我心心念念的无心看别的，终于找到了完整版，让我惊喜的是，这个版本竟然还不是错误百出的接力版，而是另外一个不知道什么版本，读后感《暮光之城读后感》。翻译者带着极大的热情膜拜着梅尔，不时跳出来在原文后写些碎碎念的评论。我看着看着，也跟着膜拜起这个女人来。
我一直以为，梅尔跟罗琳一样，是家庭主妇出身，暮光之城和《哈利波特》一样，是魔幻题材的通俗小说。《哈利波特》和《魔戒》当年看不下去，虽然故事很好，但语言上却没有让我心动的地方。这往往是通俗小说的软肋，情节在作品中的比重太大，作者忙于编织故事，读者也急于知道结局。就像小时候看武侠小说，总是一路快进，到主人公神功初成，可以报仇雪恨的时候，遇到大段无谓的描写与配角出场，甚至有些不耐烦。这样的书就如同方便面，无聊的时候可以消遣，但却无法品尝味道，它们跟耐读沾不上边。这时候的文字，只是讲故事的载体，如盛汤的碗，本身没有营养。
但好的作家却能在文字之中注入灵力，遣词造句之中，都是功力。一句话，就能顶过千言万语，某个凡人绞尽脑汁形容不出的事物，人家信手就是传神的描述。女作家的灵气还更明显，因为她们更细腻，更敏感，也更絮叨。奥斯汀、伍尔夫、铁伊和这个梅尔莫不如此。对于一部畅销小说而言，《暮光之城》的细节描写是有着纯文学作品的水准的。我看着看着就很奇怪，因为这部畅销书的调子既不像罗琳，也不像丹·布朗，也不像西德尼·谢尔顿，反而有三分像约瑟芬·铁伊，七分像亦舒。而铁伊可是20世纪上半叶的人物，接受的是正统的英国文学教育，又是理科出身，智力超群，所以才能写出那么灵气逼人的推理小说。这个梅尔又是什么来头。
忍不住百度，恍然大悟，自己的直觉果然没有错，梅尔大学时主修的就是英国文学，真正的科班出身，那么一切就都不奇怪了。她的描写欲，对人物心理刻画的近乎强迫症似的细致，她遣词造句的讲究，一切都可以解释。虽然这部小说毫无疑问是畅销书的写法，然而，作为一个深谙文学谱系的畅销书作者，她更精明地知道如何在文字中拿捏分寸，她选择了自己写起来最流畅而读者也最容易接受的风格，随意、舒坦、毫不晦涩，有时甚至快言快语，然而通俗往往带来庸俗和浅薄，梅尔却是极少数能在在通俗中做到一针见血的人。她文字的效率极高，所以虽然细节泛滥，但却并不让人觉得冗余累赘，反而让你兴致盎然。这真是本事。
她花了很大力气写女主角贝拉，这是她最最钟爱的人物。在她身上，她不惜暴露自己。那种与年龄不相称的老气横秋，有些刻意为之的性格侧写（比如喜欢读书、喜欢古典音乐、不合群等等），都是作者的影子映射到人物之上的结果。她写她的心理，几乎到了与之合二为一的程度，让人几乎不能相信作者竟然是3个孩子的母亲。要么，她就是那种复制记忆型的作家，这种能力往往是天分，即对自己的感觉、感受，无论时光久远皆能回忆与追溯，纤毫毕现还丝丝入扣。要么，她就是那种观察型作家，生活中的原型、对某个青春期女孩儿的看透，和自己的主观判断交织在一起。她当然不是那种抒情性的作家，她把情节看得很重，但很明显，在这部作品里，她推移情节的节奏与手法都显得嫩了些，然而她天才型的人物刻画光芒四射，很好地掩盖了情节发展上的无章法。
虽说如此，然而她初试牛刀，暂时还不能游刃有余。除了贝拉，其他的人物就如同瓶装饮料，缺乏鲜榨的风味，虽然有很多添加剂的香甜，但还是廉价。比如对爱德华，她的笔力就明显不殆，大部分时候都落入了言情小说的俗套。似乎除了那双变幻莫测的眼睛，和标志性的愤怒，梅尔也不知道到底要刻画些什么。也许对于她来说，贝拉是个活生生的存在，是个人，而爱德华不过是张明星海报。
小说之中写人最难。汪曾祺曾经向沈从文请教如何写小说，沈的回复是：要贴着人物写。看似简单，却极难做到。作者与人物合一，其实是活活变出一个分身，在自我之外，活出另外一副样子。要做到这一点，一要聪明，二要有耐心。通俗小说家里，大部分都足够聪明，有耐心如梅尔的，还不是主流。所以我说，《暮光之城》还是挺好看的。
