高考英语议论文写作“三年四步走”

【摘要】学生高考英语写作成绩的好坏，历来是检验高中教师英语教学效果的一块“试金石”。一篇高水准的高考英语临场作文，通常是优教优学的客观体现。目前，在高考英语写作教学中，教师过于强调写作技巧、忽略写作基本功的现象十分普遍，存在着一种把“作文考场应对策略”视为取胜法宝的短视教学行为：为学生炮制各种考前文本框架；要求学生强记开篇套句、中间铺陈套句和结尾套句；要求学生背记各种复合句、经典句等。这也许一时能起到一定的瞬间效果；然而，这种忽略学生真实能力培养、本末倒置的作文教学法，不仅会把教学引入死胡同，而且还会严重制约学生英语写作过程中的思维活跃和思想表达的自由。

在目前的高考英语写作训练中，强调写作技巧，忽略写作基本功训练的现象很普遍，存在着一种把“作文考场应对策略”视为取胜法宝的短视教学行为：为学生炮制各种考前文本框架；要求学生强记开篇套句、中间铺陈套句和结尾套句；要求学生背记各种复合句、经典句。这也许一时能起到一定的瞬间效果；然而，这种忽略学生真实能力培养、本末倒置的作文教学法，不仅会把教学引入死胡同，而且还会严重制约学生英语写作过程中的思维活跃和思想表达的自由。

在高考英语写作训练中，许多教师把“作文考场应对策略”当作教学核心：如何审题、如何抓要点、如何遣词造句、如何谋篇布局等。这些写作基本功固然重要；然而，如果一个学生不具备基本的英语思维，不注重汉英思维转换，不能娴熟自如地运用英式思维表达自己的所思所想，即使在突击式“作文考场应对策略”的帮助下侥幸过关，也很难在其今后的个人发展中形成一种自身的英语写作能力。

写作是思想与情感的表达，它的特性在于个性的独立体现，在于思维角度的多维，在于感悟上的差异性。在写作教学上，如果千人一面、千篇一律地对学生进行模式化的雕塑训练，其结果不仅会抹杀学生的思维个性，限制他们思维角度的多维，而且还会挫伤他们的思维积极性和自由表达思想的热情。

训练学生的英语写作能力，让他们在高考应试中写出一篇高分作文，这并非英语教学的终极目的；从真正意义上说，是通过写作训练来提升他们的个人素质，从而为他们将来的个性发展奠定基础。因此，那种教学方式上“急功近利、冒险通关”的思想，只会把学生引入一片狭小的天地，很难对他们的长期发展带来裨益。

现在是一个需求能力多元的时代，教师应从人云亦云的各种“考场应对策略”中解脱出来，从根本上去思考如何真正有效地训练学生的英语写作基本功，如何提升他们写作时的英式思维，如何通过训练达到短期教学目标与长期教学目标的有效结合，如何把阶段能力培养与终生能力培养合二为一。

学生在紧张的高考应试中写出思维流畅、表意准确、语言地道、结构完整的英语作文，绝非一日之功，也绝非各种“作文考场应对策略”所能企及的。

进入高中后，教师在英语作文训练上应打持久战，要抓学生的“三年之功”，拟定严谨的训练计划，制定适宜的实践步骤，从而推动作文训练的有序进程，为

他们开拓一片思维表达的快乐天空。

在多年的高中英语写作教学中，我也经历过“力气下了不少，却收效甚微”的苦恼，也曾有过迷惘无措，“流了汗水仍然毫无收获”的尴尬。通过反思与实

践，实践与反思，我的英语写作教学效果有了极大的提升。同时，我也在这种“穷

则思变”的阵痛中获得了教学灵感。在那种“无路时方能找到出路”的喜悦中，渐渐形成了自己的一套写作教学与训练方法。

我把这套写作教学与训练方法称之为：高考英语议论文写作“三年四步走”

第一步：高一全年，语法促表达，单句思维训练；

第二步：高二上期，段落促表达，文段思维训练；

第三步：高二下期，篇章促表达，短文思维训练；

第四步：高三全年，审美促表达，提炼思维训练。

第一步：高一全年，语法促表达，单句思维训练；

在高考议论文写作中，如果学生想灵活准确地使用相应词汇来表达自己的各

种思想，就必须具备下列条件：词汇丰富，不能过于单一；语法准确，清晰表达

思想；英式思维，摈弃汉式英语。

高考英语议论文是很多考生的一个瓶颈。在这道题上，相当部分的考生难以

取得高分；要攻克这一难关，绝非一日之功，学生必须具备丰富的词汇积累，准

确的语法知识，以及娴熟的英式思维。这就要求教师在高一阶段加大学生的词汇

积累，夯实语法知识，强化英式思维。

1）词汇积累

在词汇积累上，教师应注重授人以渔，教给学生自我积累词汇的过硬本事；

而要达到这一目的，就必须脚踏实地走“语音----构词----识记”这条教学老路。

语音：音标人人过关，认得清读得出；拼读英语生词要像读汉语拼音那样

脱口而出。

构词：让学生了解英语构词方法及规律，即前缀---词干---后缀。让学生学

会分解词汇，像记汉字的偏旁部首那样去记忆。

识记：让学生死记与巧记相结合，分类记忆与归纳记忆相结合，短期记忆

与长期记忆相结合，定额记忆与自由记忆相结合，阅读记忆与操练记忆相结合等。

在“语音----构词----识记”这一教学过程中，教师必须是学生的引导者和伴行者。对学生词汇的积累数量，教师要进行阶段性表格统计，对学生的词汇运用程度进行把握。要对学生提出短期和长期记忆目标，并借助于各种形式的检查来推动他们高中三年的词汇记忆过程。

2）语法知识在语法教学上，教师应注重语法主干----时态和语态教学。在学生对基本的时态和语态牢固掌握并达到运用自如的基础上，再开始其他语法知识的延伸教学。

延伸教学的内容包括名词性从句、定语从句、状语从句、虚拟语气、非谓语动词、主谓一致、倒装与省略等。主干与延伸的关系，也就是“点和圆”的关系：一切延伸知识的教学，都围绕“时态和语态”这个核心点；反过来，再借助“核心点”的牢固掌握，进而促进“延伸知识”的提升。在“核心点”与“延伸知识”交互促进、反复循环的过程中，让学生认识各个语法要点的关键内涵，从而提高对简单句和复合句的认知水平。

在语法教学进度上，教师不能拘泥于教材的安排，尽量做到语法集中教学，也就是在高一阶段下大力气集中完成“时态和语态”这一“核心点”的教学，完成名词性从句、定语从句、状语从句、虚拟语气、非谓语动词、主谓一致、倒装与省略等“延伸知识”的教学。

教师在高一阶段要为学生提炼出一个整体语法框架表，让他们对高中英语语法有一个语法学习“路线图”。如果在学习中遇到问题，他们可以去反查各个语法要点和规律。

有了词汇，掌握了语法结构，就可进行单句训练。

3）单句训练高一学生由于英语底子薄,要提高他们的写作水平必须从基础着手，提高其单句的写作能力。在单句训练上，应当重复训练英语简单句的五种基本句型。英语五种基本句型如下：

句型一： S +V（主＋谓）

句型二： S +V +P（主＋系＋表）

句型三： S +V +O（主＋谓＋宾）

句型四： S +V +IO +O（主＋谓＋间宾＋直宾）

句型五： S +V +O +C（主＋谓＋宾＋宾补）

对这五种基本句型的训练，教师可采取下列训练法：语法训练法、翻译法、仿写法、改错法、典句摘抄法。

当这五种基本句型的训练达到一定程度，教师可以在此基础上拓展训练高级句型，如含有名词性从句、定语从句、状语从句、强调句、虚拟语气、非谓语动词、主谓一致、以及倒装的复杂句型写法训练。

单句训练的目的：一是巩固学生的英语语法；二是转换学生的汉式思维；三是熟练运用不同句型自由表达思想。

第二步：高二上期，段落促表达，文段思维训练；

段落表达训练，也就是让学生就某一现象、某一事件、某一行为发表自己的观点和看法。

在这一阶段，教师只要求他们写一小段英语，即可论及各种社会现象、也可发表自己的生活感悟；即可写自然现象的观察洞见，也可评议人伦道德。段落长短不限，但要求语言具有一定档次，做到言之有物、言之有理。

坚持不懈地对学生进行这种小段训练，即可锻炼他们思维的精准性，也可提他们的思维个性；而且，在减轻篇幅长度的同时，还能给他们一个宽松的提炼语句水平的空间。在这一阶段，教师的批改和纠正是学生语言和思维得以提升的关键。

单句训练的目的是为段落训练服务的，一个单句只能表达思想的一个点，而段落则可表达思想的一个面。因此，在段落训练上，不仅要求单句的准确表达，而且要求语句之间的思维连贯。

段落思维训练：

1）训练段落的主旨性段落主旨训练，就是让学生就某一现象提炼自己的思想观点，并围绕这一观点表达出自己的段落主旨。这就需要教师培养学生的归纳总结能力。

2）训练段落的完整性段落主旨是通过拓展句得以呈现的。表意准确的拓展句，在诠释主旨、分析主旨、升华主旨的同时，也给人一种一气呵成的段落完整性。这种段落完整性训练，不仅可以提高学生思想表达的凝练程度，还可以杜绝他们作文中的东扯西拉，漫无边际。

3）训练段落的逻辑性段落行文时，要求学生做到思想表达的逻辑性，即

写作时围绕一个主旨，有条有理，脉络清晰，说理充分，合乎逻辑。

4）训练段落的流畅性就是不仅要求语句表达流畅，同时还需思维的流畅。

语句表达流畅，就是要求尽量写出规范地道的英语句子，表意准确；思维流畅，就是要求思辩过程中的承上启下、合理有度、思路清晰。

第三步：高二下期，篇章促表达，短文思维训练；

在学生具备了一定的段落写作水平后，教师可以抓住时机进行议论文的篇章训练。训练的内容为：

1、结构训练，如何立论、如何论证、如何结论，也就是训练他们提出问题、分析问题、解决问题的能力；

2、语言训练，表达准确，高度概括，语义清晰，生动形象；

3、思维训练，严谨的思维，紧扣主旨择意立论；形象的思维，从具体到抽象；理性的思维，条分缕析地展开议论；创新的思

维，展现个性表达。思维，被恩格斯誉为“世间最美丽的花朵”。在议论文写作上对学生进行一定的“思维”训练，是从根本上提高学生写作能力的良方。

1）、结构训练议论文的格式由三个部分组成：立论部分；论证部分；结论部分。立论部分，鲜明地提出中心论点，即文章的主题；论证部分，摆出有利的事实，对论点进行严密的论证，要求围绕中心论点进行分析对比、归纳演绎、推理总结；结论部分，在文章的结尾得出综合性结论。

一篇高水准的议论文，必定是由高水准的段落构成的。立论、论证和结论这三个段落的思想光芒，将汇聚成一篇议论文的整体光芒。

立论：在立论训练中，教师可通过某一现象，训练学生的独立思维能力，让他们透过现象看本质，从不同的角度提出自己独特的观点和看法，确立自己新颖的论点来。与此同时，教师可以收集一些英语经典议论文的立论段落，通过分析和对比，让学生从中受益，获得启迪。

论证：在论证训练中，教师可让学生借助英语思维，对某一现象进行逻辑推理。既要语言规范准确，又要推理有序，对学生来说，的确有很大的困难。教师可以提出某一论点，借助“头脑风暴”形成课堂上的“群雄舍辩”，让学生在这种思维互补、彼此启迪的过程中获得自己的个性论证思路。此外，还要提倡学生的个性思维，鼓励他们的冷性思考，养成独立思索的习惯。

结论：不同的推理，会得出不同的结论。教师要训练学生基于论证部分的分析判断来达到反馈论点、验证论点、强调论点的效果。

在结构训练阶段，对学生习作中凸显出的睿智语言、严谨推理、深度视点，教师要不吝表扬、大加赞赏、充分鼓励。教师要定期评析优秀的学生习作；同时，教师不能光说不练，也要就同一话题拿出自己的“下水文章”，让学生在对比与感悟中更真切地体味写作的无穷魅力。

2）、语言训练议论文的语言概括性强，通常是利用比较抽象的词语来表现丰富的内容。表达准确、高度概括、语义清晰、形象生动是议论文的语言特色。教师可精选一些议论文来分析文中的语言，让学生感悟文中的准确性、概括性、形象性等语言风格，继而提高他们的语言水平。

这种借助经典文章分析来获取议论文语言风格的方法，是学生议论文语言水平提升的一条必经之路。即可让学生直接感受地道英式思辩语言的魅力，也可让他们习得地道英式思辩语言的常规句式。除此之外，还可借助仿写、摘抄典句的方法来学习英语议论文的语言风格。

3）、思维训练在议论文写作的教学过程中，教师必须借助一定程度的思维训练，来提高学生的思想认识水平。

高考英语议论文写作通常要求学生在120词，约12句的短文中完成思想的表达与呈现。由于词数限制，在思辨过程中，即不能漫无边际、天马行空，又不能言之无物、不切要点。要想让学生在有限的文字内达到议论文主旨明确、论证充分、结论深刻基本要求，教师就必须在立论思维、论证思维及结论思维训练上很下功夫。

立论思维训练：必须在3句内提出论点；做到开门见山，提纲挈领。

论证思维训练：必须在6句内完成论证过程；论证方式不限，可举例、对比、归纳，也可演绎、推理、因果。但无论借助哪种论证方法，都必须做到语言客观，表意精准，句式规范。

结论思维训练：必须在3句内围绕论点作出结语，对论点进行强调。其目的就是揭示文章主旨，对全文内容给予归纳、概括、总结。

第四步：高三全年，审美促表达，唯美思维训练。

由于高一高二两年的前期基本功训练，在进入高三备考阶段后，教师对学生议论文训练的侧重点应转移到文章的审美上来。就一篇高考英语议论文而言，其审美要求包括以下几个方面：结构美、视角美、语言美、思辨美。

（1）、结构美：

在英语议论文教学实践中，学生经常犯的一个通病就是：文章从外在形式上看，的确是三个段落；仔细一读，思路不清，没有内在的思辨统一性，给人牵强附会的感觉；形式为三个段落，思想上却看不出层次。针对这种情况，在语篇结构的审美训练上，教师要求学生熟练把握议论文“总—分—总”的行文规律，让阅卷者在有着密切内在联系的三个段落里，清楚明晰地感知文中的论点、论证、及结论；要求学生在注重文章外在的“总—分—总”形式的同时，更要注重论述过程中思辩上的“总—分—总”，也就是，形式和内容的有机统一。

（2）、视角美：

在论点提出上，要训练学生独特的视角。培养他们在思考中辨析，在辨析时思考的能力，从而真切感受全新发现的美感和新颖思辨的魅力。要训练学生独到的思想和独特的感受，要求他们能透过现象的层面，提出个性话题，给人一种视角美。

（3）、语言美：

由于高考英语议论文词数的限制，教师应训练学生论述语言的美感：生动、形象、清楚、流畅。要求学生在阐述理念时体现或庄或谐，或张或驰、或排比或反问等语言风格，追求语言的具体、形象及感染力。

（4）、思辨美：

思辨是议论文理性表达思维的一个重要方法。就一篇议论文的主旨而言，思辨就是从纷繁中理出秩序、从谬论中得出真理的严谨思维过程。训练学生的思辨美，教师应培养他们对作文命题或作文材料的独到认识，培养他们在论证过程中精辟、深刻、周详的思辨水平，以及思辨的层次性。

高考英语议论文写作是一个极具挑战的教学难题，有语言水平无思维水平难出美文；有思维高度无语言高度也难出美文。这就要求教师在议论文教学中坚守一份执着，本着一种对学生未来发展负责的务实态度，在训练上要打持久战，在方法上要循序渐进。坚决摈弃把“作文考场应对策略”视为取胜法宝的短视教学行为。花三年之功，费三载心血，加上一步一台阶的教学思路，不愁目标达不到，不愁学生写不出好文章。
