英语写作大纲要求
考研英语写作分为大作文和小作文两部分。大作文主要以情景、图表、图画等短文写作为主，字数要求一般为：英语一在160～220字之间，英语二在150字以上。而小作文一般以私人和公务信函、备忘录、摘要、报告等应用文为主，且英语一和英语二都要求字数在100字左右。
考研学生想要提高英语作文成绩，必须达到最基本的要求：首先语法、拼写、标点正确，用词恰当;其次要遵循文章的特定文体格式，不能一团麻往上铺;此外，合理组织文章结构，使文章内容衔接、连贯;同时根据写作目的和特定读者，选择恰当语域。
英语小作文段落构建
小作文一般也就是应用文写作，大致包括建议信、申请信、致歉信、咨询信、感谢信、投诉信、邀请信、推荐信等。
小作文在正文创作时，最好分三个环节构建。首先，用2～3句开门见山，表达意图;然后用8～9句陈述内容;最后再用1～2句点明主题即可，这里可以使用常见的“套话”。
