这是一节小学英语阅读课。对于六年级的英语教学,阅读教学一直都是一个难点,我是带着探讨学习怎样上好高年级阅读课的想法来上这节课的。针对六年级学生的年龄特点,在应用任务型教学法的大前提下,巧设活动,排除学生的阅读障碍;圈词画句,指导学生阅读策略技能;灵活检测,培养学生理解思维能力。
本课的教学内容是Unit 3 Part A Let's read部分,达到了预期的效果,但同样存在着不足。
本单元接触的是一个新的时态“一般过去时”,在前两节课初步了解的基础上,这节课的阅读教学中前后运用了7个表示一般过去时的句子,目的是训练学生达到熟练运用和描述别人上个周末的活动,根据这一要求,我设计了几个教学活动:
一、热身部分利用了朗朗上口的chant,激发了学生学习的兴趣,让他们很快地融入英语学习的氛围。
二、复习部分设计了memory game ,不但能复习旧知,而且能训练学生的记忆力。
三、新授课部分
1、带着问题看课文录像并回答;
2、细读课文,完成课后的练习;
3、流利地朗读课文;
4、根据板书复述课文。
四、拓展、延伸。我利用班中一位学生的生活照制成PPT,让学生模仿Let’s read 的内容进行描述该同学的周末活动。
通过一系列的教学活动,体现了任务型教学,帮助学生自己去探索、发现和解决问题,让学生在互动和交流中,感受学习的快乐,但也存在着不足:
1、带着问题听课文录音并回答,提了四个问题,这对于学生有一定的难度;
2、由于时间的关系,拓展部分没有充分地展开。
在今后的教学活动中,我一定多加学习,取得更好的课堂效果。与同行们取长补短,携手并进,争取更大的进步。

六年级英语下册教学工作总结
在这个学期,我继续担任六(1)、六(2)、六(3)班英语教学。在学期刚开始时,我所面临的问题,不仅是像以往那样,完成本册书的教学;学生这一学期要参加小学生毕业考试,我必须在本册书的教学结束后,拟定一个小学英语的系统的复习计划,根据计划合理地安排自查前的复习工作。六年级的学生对英语学习兴趣整体有所下降,两极分化比较严重。所以本学期以做好后进生的转化工作为主。面向全体学生,以学生的发展为宗旨,始终把激发学生的学习兴趣放在首位,注意分层教学,引导学生端正学习态度,掌握良好的学习方法,培养学生良好的学习习惯。学生经过一个学期的英语学习后对英语的学习产生了一定的兴趣,对英语的基本知识与基本技能已有初步的了解。同学们的听力能力、口语表达能力、阅读能力等都得到了相当程度的提高。为此我做了一下工作:
一、认真备课:
不但备学生,而且备教材、备教法。根据教学内容和不同班级的学生的实际情况,设计课的类型,拟定采用的教学方法,并对教学过程的程序及时间安排都做了详细的记录,认真写好教案。每一课都做到“有备而来”,每堂课都在课前做好充分的准备,课后及时对该课做出总结。
二、增强上课技能,提高教学质量:
在课堂上特别注意调动学生的积极性,加强师生交流,充分体现学生学得容易,学得轻松,觉得愉快,注意精神,培养学生多动口动手动脑的能力。
三、认真批改作业,布置作业有针对性,有层次性:
对学生的作业批改及时,认真分析并记录学生的作业情况,将他们在作业过程中出现的问题做出分类总结,进行透切的讲评,并针对有关情况及时改进教学方法,做到有的放矢。
四、做好课后辅导工作,注意分层教学:
在课后,为不同层次的学生进行相应的辅导,以满足不同层次的学生的需求,同时加大了对学困生的辅导的力度。对学困生的辅导,并不限于学生知识性的辅导,更重要的是学生思想的辅导,提高学困生的成绩,首先解决他们的心结,让他们意识到学习的重要性和必要性,使之对学习萌发兴趣。这样,学困生的转化,就由原来的简单粗暴、强制学习转化到自觉的求知上来。
五、存在的问题:
1、在复习阶段,大部分学生在课堂上的学习状态是积极的,但是有少数学生由于紧张而繁重的复习没有更多地关注到他们的课堂学习情况,也没有尽最大的努力引导他们抓紧课堂的每一分钟。于是,为了让他们取得进步,我的做法却是进行“课后辅导”,增加师生的负担。
2、在复习阶段,由于复习的内容涉及到三、四、五、六年级的内容,内容量多,在处理内容方面还存在一些不足。如,五、六年级的内容应该为主,三、四年级的内容应该根据学生的能力进行选择(对大部分同学来讲,三、四年级的内容较简单,可应付)。
五、六年级的单词、句型都是重中之重,内容较多,不可能面面俱到。但是,老师在这时候应发挥应有的作用。为学生理顺知识结构,如,更有条理地进行句型分类。
另外,不应该为了应付考试,就忽略了英语作为一种语言的交际性,听、说、读和写尽可能兼顾,这样,才能充分体现本套教材的教学目的。同时,听和说是学生在英语学习中最感兴趣的部分,因此,复习阶段,值得运用听和说的活动继续培养学生的学习兴趣,将复习课的枯燥乏味变为生动活泼。
3、在实际教学过程中,我还应积极实践,不断探索,针对实际工作中出现的问题和学生身心特点,总结规律,认真思考,不断摸索。工作中还存在着很多的困惑,所授班级的有些学生作业比较马虎, 有小部分学生学习懒散,学习态度差,还有一部分学生学习有困难,部分学生的学习成绩还不够理想。希望今后改进教学方法,向同事们学习好的教学方法,不断进取,以满腔热情投入教育教学。
六.采取的措施:
1、通过听、说、读、写、做等形式,进行大量的语言操练和练习。
2、设计全面、高效的课外作业,培养学生良好的书写习惯,做到整洁、规范、正确地书写。
3、在往后的教学中,我要更积极地思考转化后进生的方法。如,在复习阶段,针对复习内容,运用竞争机制,在后进生的小圈子内进行内部竞争,激发他们上进的积极性。
总之,在本学期的教学工作中,我能够紧紧围绕新课改的要求,贯彻落实新课标,以学生为主体,以人为本开展各项工作,收到一定的效果,但这远远不够,教学是漫无边际的,在以后的教学工作中,我将不断总结经验和教训,发挥优势,改善不足,虚心谨慎,扬长避短,继续加强对教材钻研,想多点办法,让学生学得更轻松,争取更上一层楼。
