第一篇：Who am I
Good evening!Ladies and gentlemen.First of all, I would like to tell you who I am.I am contestant No.*.And tonight, I also go to talk about “who am I”.Have you ever read Joestein’s book “Sophie’s world”? It is a famous philosophic book about a mysterious guide, who brings a 14-year-old Norwegian girl to an adventure of western philosophy.And I can well remember that the first philosophic question that puzzled Sophie is, who Sophie herself is.When I read this chapter, I also follow Sophie to ask myself who I am.It is no doubt that I am~.But ~ is just my name.What if I change my name to Nelson Mandela or Isabella.Does it mean I am Nelson Mandela or Isabella? If not, who am I?
Therefore, I asked some people so as to find out who exactly I am.My parent told me: I am a good daughter who they have cherished;my friends told me: I am a trustful friend who they will never forget;my teacher told me: I am an intelligent student who they praise.Anyway, I was curious about their words to me.Am I really as good as what they said? I clearly know that sometimes I am a naughty daughter, a selfish friend and a lazy student.And I am not satisfied with anyone even myself.I became more and more confused about who I am.So I stop asking and to pick up “Sophie’s world” and read again.I turn to that chapter I just mentioned above and indulge myself in it.The question “who am I” is hovering around my mind.Even though, I still can not tell you who I exactly am.Sophie and her mysterious teacher is leading me to the answer.Just wait and see.
