My dream:
hello everyone! it is my great pleasure to share my dream with you today.
my dream is to bee a teacher.
you know being a teacher is a thing that is very valuable and very interesting. i suggest that it must be a great fun to be with children all the day. and if i am a teacher, i can teach my students a lot of knowledge. they might bee stronger and cleverer because of me. that is a very contented feeling.
china is a developing country. chinese are not that excellent in their intellegent. so teachers in china might be very very important. they can provide the society with a lot of successful people, and make china a better place.
do you think that i have a good dream? i will work hard to make my dream bee true!
thanks~
everyone has a dream. now i'll talk about my dream i what is my dream? i often ask myself. when i was a little boy, i wanted to be a soldier with a gun so that i could defend our motherland.
now i am a young boy with a new dream——to be a doc-tor. i want to be a famous doctor, helping the sick and saving their lives. why has my dream changed? well, at the age of 11 i was ill, badly ill. i was told that i had cancer. i had to leave both my school and my friends and go to the hospital. every day i suf-fered the troubles caused by this illness.
i also saw some people who were suffering and dying of ill-nesses. i made up my mind to bee a doctor, so that i can help the sick people and cure them of their diseases. china is a develop-ing country. she needs good medicine and good doctors, especially in the countryside and lonely villages.
i want to try my best to help the poor sick people of our country. i want to let them have an opportunity to receive excel-lent treatments for their illnesses without having to pay much or any money.
i'll do every bit to cure the incurable. i hope to see a world where there is no cancer, no aids, no fatal diseases. i'm confident that through the joint efforts of you and me, man will put an end to his bodily sufferings and this dream of mine will one day be brought into reality.

Hello, everyone! It’s my honor to speak here, and I’m very glad to share my topic with you. Then today I’d like to talk something about a cartoon calld Slam Dunk. Maybe you can’t understand what is Slam Dunk, but if I tell you its Chinese name, you must know ,it’s ‘灌篮高手’.
Slam Dunk is a Japanese cartoon whose author is Yasushi male merits. It is a story about the growth of a senior high school basketball team—Shohoku. Takenori Akagi, the captain of Shohoku, was a great basketball centre. Due to the lack of good co-workers, Akagi couldn’t realize the dream of making Shohoku step on the national stage. With the join of Hanamichi Sakuragi, a born athlete who grew at an unbelievable speed, Kaeda Rukawa, the super rookie and the rejoin of Ryota Miyagi, a great backfielder as well as ‘a senior kid’, Hisashi Mitsui, an ex-MVP of junior high school but once missed himself in a wrong way, Shohoku strived against the other strong basketball teams and finally won the tickets to the national competition. From an unknown basketball team to a strong one, Shohoku caught people’s eyes gradually and became an outstanding basketball team in the Janpanese senior high school field.
Slam Dunk, let me have tears all over my face in the joke, let me still shock after ten years. It lets me like basketball, lets me know the meaning of dream. Do you have the same feeling with me
Do you remember the dream at young age?
Do you remember the tears and sweat due to fight?
Do you remember the crucible which burned passion of youthYes, I remember.
Today, I don’t tell you about the characters in Slam Dunk, I only tell you about the significance of Slam Dunk.
Slam Dunk is a beautiful word. Here, everyone is fighting for his own dream! These Cruel Winter Blues perform gloriously at the same stage due to insistence and love to basketball. Shinichi Maki exercise three-point shot day and night because of without professional skill. Tiangang search for good player here and there for his team. He once said: Do you feel strange that I still have dream although I have been an old man… Basketball is his dream. They play basketball with their life.
Slam Dunk is a wonderful world. Here, success or failure is not judged by win-lose. Heroes are not judged by success or failure. Who can say Shohoku which didn’t get first is not strongerWho can say Akira Sendoh and Kenji Fujima who didn’t attend national competition are not heroesThe main teams in Slam Dunk don’t get first, which Slam Dunk wants to tell us: win-lose is not everything. The important thing is you have tried, you have done all you can, then you have succeed! Everyone in Slam Dunk all looked squarely at failure: Akira Sendoh said I can start from scratch with smile when he faced the sky… Can you say they loseBasketball is his dream, it is love to basketball that let them keep straight on. I think they will continue to go. When they go and look again at the time, they will see the regretless youth!
What about youDo you have dreamWill you hold on your dreams and never give up like the boys in Slam DunkWill you dare to try no matter how many times you failed like the boys in Slam DunkWill you fight yourself even though your dream seems to be so far and have no possibility to realizeWill you clap your hands for the other people and encourage them to keep straight on when they pursue their dreamAs an old saying goes, you won’t regret what you have done, but you will only regret what you haven’t done when you are old. So from now on, control your own destiny and pursue your own dream like the boys in Slam Dunk! If you just imagine sitting, then everything is just a dream forever, but if you have a little courage to implement if possible tomorrow, you had a dream come true. Be brave, one day you will find the road of pursuing dream is the most beautiful trip!

Honorable jaduges ,ladies and gentlemen:
good afternoon !
I feel honored to be here ,giving me speech to you. Today my topic is “ the pursuit of dreams “
I would like to begin my speech with a short poem , entitled Dreams.Hold fast to dreams ,for if dreams die ,life is a broken-winged bird that can not fly ;hold fast to dreams ,for when dreams go ,life is a barren field ,frozen with snow.In this poem ,to some extent ,we can know the importance of dreams.
I am sure all of you here ,have your own dreams ,since we are in youth ,which is the golden period of our life ,full of imagination ,creativity ,enthusiasm and strength. We should have dreams. It can be our guiding star ,hanging in front of us ,lighting our way. When we feel puzzled ,tired or depressed ,it is our dreams guiding us ,let us go forward bravely.
My dear audience ,as a college student what kind of dream should we have ? Maybe you will say “well ,it depends “.I think so ,but there still exist some basic requirements and expectations about our dreams. We are young ,representing the future of our country. We should have a high sense of duty towards our family ,our country.we must link our dream with the demands and prosperity of our country.Have a great dream !
Just as when we see the collapsed school in the earthquake ,the poor children under the concrete and steel , besids sympathy ,I really hope that I am an engineer ,who can build the strongest and unshakable school for them. When I heared four girls of Shanghai Business School jumped out of the balcony from the 6th floor ,for their domitory was on fire. I really hope that I am a qualified manager who can take preventive measures to avoid the disaster ,and offer help as soon as possible,if it really happened.
In our youth,we should have dream and pursue our dream bravely. Then when we grow old ,looking back ,we would feel no regret for this period of life. Hope all of you here ,have your dream and through your effort ,all of your dreams can come ture !
Thank you very much !

I have a dream today.
I have a dream that one day every vally shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.
Wow, what a dream it has been for Martin Luther King. But the changing world seems telling me that people gradually get their dreams lost somehow in the process of growing up, and sometimes I personally find myself saying goodbye unconsciously to those distant childhood dreams.
However, we meed dreams. They nourish our spirit; they represent possibility even when we are dragged down by reality. They keep us going. Most successful people are dreamers as well as ordinary people who are not afraid to think big and dare to be great. When we were little kids, we all dreamed of doing something big and splashy, something significant. Now what we need to do is to maintain them, refresh them and turn them into reality. However, the toughest part is that we often have no ideas how to translate these dreams into actions. Well, just start with concrete objectives and stick to it. Don’t let the nameless fear confuse the eye and confound our strong belief of future. Through our talents, through our wits, through our endurance and through our creativity, we will make it.
Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow. So my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams. Whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today.

Dream:
good evening, dear audience :i am happy that i can have such kind of opportunity to stand here to give you a speech. what i am going to talk about today is “my dream to shine”.
we all want to believe that we are capable of great feats ,we can call the potential to reach our fullest dream.
“no young man believes he will ever fade”, it was a saying of my old friend , and a fine one . we look round in this world, full of life, and motion, and ceaseless progress, as in setting out on delightful journey, we strain our eager gaze forward . there is a feeling of eternity in youth, just right which makes us amend for everything.
about my dream, it can be traced back to my childhood, i just want play more ,when i grew older, i was convinced that i would be a physicist or a psychologist. after ,it’s a pity for me that i could not do anything to approach it .although they have ceased to exist and dispeared ,they lead my growth along the way. dreams nourish our spirit ,they represent possibility even then we are dragged down by reality . dream is the beacon. , without dream, there is no secure direction; without direction, there is no life. so i believe the important thing in life is to have a great dream, and the determination to attain it. without own dream, wecould never have grown up a real man .and in fact, not only for personal, but also for world.
now, i have a dream that one day our nation would rise up and live out the true meaning of its pledge of territorial integrity and people's rich and powerful, such as our diaoyu island.
and as for personal dream, my ideal future career is to be a urban and regional plannerwho could function as a chief planner and designer of a city.
at first, it was my natural teacher of senior high school who brought me great interest in architectures and cities when i was far away from urban planning . and then i met many cities in and out of books by myself .different places and different cultures just made me more interested in cities.
i see that there’re many problems caused by urban development and the lack of deliberate planning, such as environmental pollution, slums, urban sprawling etc.cities establish the kind of housing, industrial, and retail facilities which can be built in it. others evaluate the impact of proposed residential or mercial development and suggest ways for munities to respond. and i want to protect open space andagricultural land in the face of increasing demands for new homes and business.
the urban planning system should be plete and can run itself and most cities have developed and there’re much experience and many cases to learn. i want to mit.
finally, planners usually can find a decent job and get good paid and i want to have a house, facing the sea with flowers in the future. i will take every effort to acplish my dream .i won’t let it bee a fantasy , it is just my dream .maybe some years later , it will bee true .
i grew up in ages and also in thoughts. it was that time i began to know that life is a difficult journey. and it was that time i began to think about my life. i asked myself what a life i want to live, and what a man i want to be. but it was hard to give myself a satisfactory answer. but maybe that is the best answer ,we are growing better in this process. in the journey of life, only our dreams are permanent, and only the spirit of pursuing dreams is permanent. classical is something not fade, but grow more precious with time pass by , so is dream. when i am old, maybe my dreams still shine, hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. i wish everyone can make your dream alive. good luck to everyone! thank you!
hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow. so my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams. whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today.
how to say future? maybe it’s a nice wish. let us make up our minds, stick to it and surely well enjoy our life. dreamers are not content with merelymediocre , because no one ever dreams of going half way . sonow i will not avoid the tasks of today and charge them to tomorrow . once my teacher said :” you are not sewing, you are stylist; never forget which you should lay out to people is your thought, not craft.” i will put my personality with my interest and ability into my study, during these process i will bine learning with doing. if i can achieve that, i think that i really grow up.
to be honest, being a quiet girl can have the courage to show myself, i think i succeed.
i’m not a diamond, not a crystal and nor a star, not something like jewels or planets will be always bright and twinkling as you imagine. but i do believe shining is not a dream far away, because i have seen the success is on its way.
life is just like sailing on the sea, there are lots of fierce storms on your way. you should be brave enough to go through with full of confidence. you have to deal with it on your own, not depending on others.
life is a long race, where you have to try your best to win the game. even sometimes you spare no effort, success is not easy to get. so just devote yourself to everything in your life.
life is where you have to show your honest personality foreverybody. it can win for the love and respect as prizes, live in the big big world, love is the eternal theme for human.
all the above are the things i always remember in my teaching. independence, bravery devotion and love are the keys i need to shine and win. everybody has his or her own dream, so do i. i keep on chasing my target and never give up. because i believe this is my time to shine. i do believe.life is a process of growing up, actually i’m standing here is a growth. if a person’s life must constituted by various choices, then i grow up along with these choices. once i hope i can study in a college in future, however that’s passed, as you know i e here, now i wonder what the future holds for (= what will happen to) me.
when i e to this school, i told to myself: this my near future, all starts here. following i will learn to bee a man, a integrated man, who has a fine body, can take on important task, has independent thought, an open mind, has the ability to judge right and wrong.

Let dreams fly:
I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.
five score years ago, a great american, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the emancipation proclamation. this momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. it came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity.
but one hundred years later, the negro still is not free. one hundred years later, the life of the negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. one hundred years later, the negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. one hundred years later, the negro is still languished in the corners of american society and finds himself an exile in his own land. and so we've e here today to dramatize a shameful condition.
in a sense we've e to our nation's capital to cash a check. when the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and the declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the “unalienable rights” of “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead of honoring this sacred obligation, america has given the negro people a bad check, a check which has e back marked “insufficient funds.”

No young man believes he shall ever die. There is a feeling of Eternity in youth, which makes us amend for be young to be as one of the Immortal Gods. One half of time indeed is flown-the other half remains in store for as with all its countless treasures; for there is no line drawn, and we see no limit to our hopes and wishes. We make the coming age our own-
The vast, the unbounded prospect lies before us, including our dreams.
So I'll say:Concentrate upon your dreams and they will become material actualities. Through concentration we work out our dreams in physical life. Your future depends upon the dreams you are forming now. Your past dreams are determining your present. Therefore, if you want a bright future, you must begin to prepare for it today.
We say a man is as changeable as the weather. What is meant is his dreams change. Every time you change your idea you think differently. You become like a rudderless boat on an ocean. Therefore realize the importance of holding to your dream until it becomes a reality .
Catch the star that holds your destiny, the one that forever twinkles within your heart. Take advantage of precious opporyunities while they still sparkle before you. Always believe that your ultimate goal is attainable as long as you commit yourself to it.
Though barriers may sometimes stand in the way of your dreams, remember that your destiny is hiding behind them. Accept the fect that not everyone is goimg to approve of the choices you've made, have faith in your judgement, catch the star that twinkles in your heart, and it will lead you to your destiny's path. Follow that pathway and uncover the sweet sunrises that await you.
Take pride in your accomplishments, as they are stepping stones to your dreams. Understand that you may make mistakes, but don't let them discourage you. Value your capabilities and talents for they are what make you truly unique. The greatest gifts in life are not purchased, but acquired through hard work and determination. Finding the star that twinkles in your heart for you alone are capable of making your brightest dreams come true.
So don't think that you are neglected, or not understood, or not appreciated. zsuch thoughts are the thoughts of failure.
Don't pity yourself, criticise yourself. You know that the only thing in the world that you have got to count upon is yourself.

Good morning, it's my honor to stand here and give you this speech about dreams. There I want to start my speech with two short stories.
The first story happened when I was in primary school, I wrote in my composition that my dream was to be a teacher when I grew up. Meanwhile, what my classmates wrote about their dreams was that he or she wanted to be a doctor, a scientist or an astronaut.
The second story happened at my first year in university. At the careers planning class, when the teacher asked about our dreams, one of my classmates stood up and said, “I want to be a farmer, because I grow up in a farmer's family and I love to be engaged in agriculture.” When he sat down, everyone clapped.
These two stories happened during my growth process, from which I got my understanding of dreams. When I was a child I believed that a dream must be a big dream, but when I grow up I find this big dream is so far away from me, I know little about it, and I have done nothing to achieve it, so it's not my dream. My classmate's answer let me know a real dream is not just about being a great man, or doing a great , it's about what you really want to be, and are willing to try every effort to pursue it.
Because what makes a dream valuable is not just about the result, it's also about the process, the process when you are trying, when you are struggling, when you failed and restarted again and again, because of the process, dreams can be meaningful and become your wealth.
Thank you.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
It’s my great honor to stand here to share my speech with you. Today the topic of my speech is: The Pursuit of Dream.
Now let’s think of our old days as we were students in primary schools. Have you ever remembered that the teachers often ask questions as “what’s your dream?”, or “what are you want to be in the future?” and what’s your answer in that childish and fantastic age? Has anyone of you answered like this: “I want to be a painter”, or “I want to be a scientist”, or “I plan to be a police”?
A few years later, we start our new journey of study in high schools and become mature and practical in our mind. Then, have you ever changed your dreams? If so, what’s it?
But now, I think, most of us become down-to-earth and the dream is more practical than before. However, have you taken actions to pursue your dream? Are you working hard enough to make your dream come true?
As for myself, I have dreamed to be an excellent police in high school due to there are so many thefts in my hometown while they are seldom caught. Sooner I have realized how ridiculous am I and now I turn to realistic: I just want to be a translator.
How do I pursue my dream?
First of all, I try my best to correct the pronunciation and read the textbook or other English magazines such as: English weekly, English salon and the like. I try to do this day by day. Now I have improved my reading ability a lot and it also enlarged my vocabulary.
Secondly, I often do some translating extension and embrace my teacher’s suggestion. It benefits me much.
Last but not the least, I realize my dream by reading Chinese literature. Maybe you will say it’s what the Chinese major students should do. If you say so, you are badly wrong. For as an English major student, how can you know others well if you even don’t familiar with your country? On the other hand, it also benefits me in translation and writing.
In a word, I have already working in my dream. What about you?
That’s all. Thank you.

Everybody has his dream job. I also have my dream job. My dream is to work for foreign tourists as a tour guide.
Why do I want to be a tour guide? First of all, I'm an outgoing girl, and I like doing some exciting things. Maybe being a tour guide is the best choice. If I become a tour guide, I can travel all around China, and know more about our country. Then I will tell the foreign tourists about our colorful history. Second, I like making friends. If I work as a tour guide, I can make a lot of friends all over the world. This may be great.
Perhaps someday my foreign friends will ask me to visit their countries. I really like to go to their countries to know something about their culture. What’s more, I like singing.
Singing English songs is my favorite. I believe I will be popular with foreign tourists. Their trip will be excellent.
Now, I am still a middle school student. My job now is to work hard in school. Then I’ll go to university to learn something about being a tour guide. I’m sure I can.

Good afternoon,ladies and gentlemen!
I’m very glad to stand here to share my ideas with you. To begin with, I want to ask a question .Do you dream a sweet dream last nightActually, Today I want to talk about dreams with you. Of course. What I want to talk is not a dream you have last night, but a dream about life.
Steve Jobs dreams to create something that can change the world. He did it. Wright brothers dream to fly in the sky. They did it. Tyrone Bogues dreams to play basketball in NBA. He did it. You may find the truth easily that every great man always has a good dream. WhyWhy is a dream so important
Everyone has his own dream about life. Dreams are like the stars in the sky. We can never reach them. However, like most mariners, we need dreams to chart our course. We need dreams to support us. With a dream, we have a direction. With a direction, we will never be confused. With a dream, we have hope. With hope, we have the strength to fight.
Life is tough. There are always ups and downs. Maybe we fail on the way to our aims. But, the dream from the bottom of our heart can always comfort us, encourage us, and support us. In this way we have the strength to move on. Because there is nothing like a dream to build up our body and create the future. So remember your dream and never give up your dream easily.
Martin Luther King has a dream, and he changed America. So, ladies and gentlemen, today I hope you will remember that no matter whether it is happiness or suffering we will experience now, our future is always
here, waiting for us to paint beautiful pictures. What you need to do is just to believe yourself and stick to your dream. Because only if we hold our dreams, we can brighten our future.
Thank you for allowing me to share my ideas with you today。

The world changed when James Watt invented the first steam engine, when Isaac Newton discovered the universal gravitation after hit by an apple, when Karl Marx wrote The Communist Manifesto, when Chairman Mao solemnly declared the establishment of the People's Republic of China on the Tian'anmen Rostrum, when Martin Luther King cried out “I have a dream”. The world was changed by something called dream, which is invisible, untouchable but strong enough.
I can assure that every child have written a composition titled My Dream. They have already written down their longing for the future. Some of them want to become scientists; some of them hope to become teachers or doctors. Maybe they didn’t know how many difficulties they will face before their dream come true. But the dreams are like small seeds planted in their ♥ like the beacon in the sea that lead them to their destinations.
Dream is the fountain of strength. Dream is the support of faith. Dream is the Polaris. Dream reminds us to move forward, to struggle, to strive all the time. One of my friends told me that dream will never discard anyone! Yes, maybe one day everything is gone but dreams is still there with you, eternally.
Dream changed us, and therefore we changed the world. It is dream that refreshes the world every day. It is also dream that makes the world improve day by day. We dare to dream. We can also achieve our dreams and change the world.
I can’t imagine the world without dreams. How about you?

how to say future? maybe it’s a nice wish. let us make up our minds, stick to it and surely well enjoy our life. dreamers are not content with merelymediocre , because no one ever dreams of going half way . sonow i will not avoid the tasks of today and charge them to tomorrow . once my teacher said :” you are not sewing, you are stylist; never forget which you should lay out to people is your thought, not craft.” i will put my personality with my interest and ability into my study, during these process i will combine learning with doing. if i can achieve that, i think that i really grow up.
to be honest, being a quiet girl can have the courage to show myself, i think i succeed.
i’m not a diamond, not a crystal and nor a star, not something like jewels or planets will be always bright and twinkling as you imagine. but i do believe shining is not a dream far away, because i have seen the success is on its way.
life is just like sailing on the sea, there are lots of fierce storms on your way. you should be brave enough to go through with full of confidence. you have to deal with it on your own, not depending on others.
life is a long race, where you have to try your best to win the game. even sometimes you spare no effort, success is not easy to get. so just devote yourself to everything in your life.
life is where you have to show your honest personality foreverybody. it can win for the love and respect as prizes, live in the big big world, love is the eternal theme for human.
all the above are the things i always remember in my teaching. independence, bravery devotion and love are the keys i need to shine and win. everybody has his or her own dream, so do i. i keep on chasing my target and never give up. because i believe this is my time to shine. i do believe.life is a process of growing up, actually i’m standing here is a growth. if a person’s life must constituted by various choices, then i grow up along with these choices. once i hope i can study in a college in future, however that’s passed, as you know i come here, now i wonder what the future holds for (= what will happen to) me.
when i come to this school, i told to myself: this my near future, all starts here. following i will learn to become a man, a integrated man, who has a fine body, can take on important task, has independent thought, an open mind, has the ability to judge right and wrong.

Let dreams fly:
I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.
five score years ago, a great american, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the emancipation proclamation. this momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. it came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity.
but one hundred years later, the negro still is not free. one hundred years later, the life of the negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. one hundred years later, the negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. one hundred years later, the negro is still languished in the corners of american society and finds himself an exile in his own land. and so we've come here today to dramatize a shameful condition.
in a sense we've come to our nation's capital to cash a check. when the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and the declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the “unalienable rights” of “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead of honoring this sacred obligation, america has given the negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked “insufficient funds.”

我知道我的梦想实现不是那么容易。张海迪阿姨有次说过:“每个人的生活是一艘船,理想就是船帆。”假如说理想是驶向成功的船,我将要掌好船舵。saving our mother—the earth honorable judges ,teachers and dear students, good morning my name is„„.i am from qinyang vocational school.i am glad to be here.today my topic is “saving our mother—the earth “ i’d like to begin my topic with my dream.a few days ago, i had a dream, i became a doctor.i had my clinic on the mars.one day after i finished curing a patient, another one came in.oh, my god!it was our mother— the earth.she was crying.”
