This is for my people who just lost somebody, your best friend, your baby, your man or your lady.Lift your head to the sky, we will never say bye.These are words of the song Bye-Bye.Every time when I hear it, I’ll always lose myself in grief recalling the tough time we came through in 2008.The snow storm, the Tibet issue, the obstruction to the Olympic torch relay，the earthquake……Time dates back to the day the horrible earth quake
occurred in Sichuan, tens of thousands of people lost life and families.I’ll never forget those days I sat front of the TV, moved by people never gave up under ruins even there’s little hope to survive.I’ll never forget those days most newspapers and websites were all in black and white.I’ll never forget those days I had my black coat on, writing down my best wishes to the suffering people.At the same time, I also remember those days my friends abroad told me that they joined in the protest against western world’s bias on China and the fight against the Tibetan separatists.I can still remember the day when I went to see the torch relay at Hangzhou with heart shaped stickers on cheek.I wore the T-shirt with words Light the Passion, Light the Dream.When the torch passed by, we cheered Go China, Go Beijing, sang the national anthem again and again, waving flags, dancing, hugging, clapping.It was the opening ceremony of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games which shocked the whole world and told the entire human Yes, we can.Yes, we can, because we are united and brave

同学们：
大家下午好！
今天由我来和大家探讨一下英语学习的方法。好之者不如乐之者，乐之者不如以之为乐者！学好英语在一般情况下可用如下规则描述: “动因+ 兴趣”———决心———持之以恒———见效。可见兴趣是学好英语最关键的问题。让自己喜欢上英语,英语学习的效率才是最高的！那么怎么样才能建立起自己学习英语的兴趣呢？要想明白这个问题先要搞清楚你为什么不喜欢学习英语，根据这几年的教学经验，我总结了大概有以下几点：
第一，课堂英语枯燥乏味。在课堂上，教师比较注重生词与语法点，而对一些比较有趣的知识（比如中英文化差异）则只是一言而过，无法引起学生学习的兴趣，并且同学们开口机会少，这也是导致产生“哑巴英语”的因素之一；
第二，英语生词难以掌握，课后习题量过多。难背的英语单词让不少同学烦恼，而课后可怕的“题海”使同学们坠入一个个深渊。对英语不少同学都是敬而远之；
第三，缺乏英语学习环境与方法。好的环境会使英语教学质量大大提高，同时也能增加同学们的兴趣。打个比方：如果你身在英国，学习英语还会如此困难，如此痛苦吗？显然不会。而好的学习方法则可以避免同学走弯路，不致处处碰壁。
第四，英语无用论。一个无法忽略的现实是：中考要考英语，高考要考英语，考研也要考英语。世界上绝大多数的科学文献是用英语写成的，世界范围内不管是政治、军事还是经济最广泛使用的语言也是英语。有可能你现在学英语用不到，但是我可以负责人地说，你这辈子离不开英语，不管你在国内还是国外。
好的，既然我们知道了不喜欢甚至讨厌英语的原因，那么我们如何培养英语学习的兴趣呢？其实也很简单。
从简单的开始，我现在问一下同学们你们觉得学习英语最基本的原则是什么？有谁知道请举手,„„对了最基本的原则就是简单原则，举个例子，比方说有人问你：What’s your name? 你回答：My name is jake.I’m jake.很明显I’m jake.要远远好于My name is jake.这就是简单原则，越简单越好！英语学习不外乎就是听、说、读、写，都应从最简单的开始，只有从简单的开始，才容易入门，才容易产生“兴趣”，才容易把事情进行下去。简单原则有巨大的优点：
1、造就成就感，培养自信。
2、增加兴趣。
3、语言朗朗上口。
4、易于学以致用。但是很学生对简单的语言往往不屑一顾，在学英语中最喜欢追求一个字——“难”。尽管学了很多难的东西，却不会用。而事实上，简单的东西如能灵活、准确地使用才是真正重要的。当然这并不是说“难的单词”和“复杂句型”一点儿也不能用，或者说没有用。学会容易的东西，并把容易的东西融会贯通地加以运用才是英语学习的关键所在。多学习一门语言，就是多了一对耳朵、一对眼睛和一张嘴。这个形容一点也不夸张。
下面我们就从听说读写四个方面来具体说一下英语的学习方法。
一．听力练习方法建议
1．根据个人英语掌握程度，选择难度适中，语速适当的听力磁带。2．选择心情舒适的时候进行听力练习，效果更佳。听力最佳时间为早上9点至10点，下午4点至5点，晚上8点至9点，这些时段记忆力最好，工作效率最高。3．挑选自己喜欢的英语磁带练习，建议选择趣味性强，故事性强的听力材料。比如：英语童话故事，世界名著（简单版）等。二．口语练习方法建议
1．首先要掌握基本日常用语，词汇和短语，以初中到高中学习词汇为标准，大约6000词汇，300短语。另外这些只是最基本的词汇掌握量，若要脱口而出，还需掌握最少四级词汇。
2．一般买英语磁带都配有磁带读物，比如上面说到的英语童话故事和世界名著。磁带作为听力练习，读物作为练习口语阅读练习，配合磁带来纠正自己的发音，一举两得。
3．若有机会在城市碰到老外，可以邀请他们和自己留影，只要留影就OK了，如果词汇不足，不要深谈。这样可以锻炼胆量和口语呢。我和老外是这么说的：
M:Excuse me, may I take a photo with you? F: Certainly!(No problem!)(Of Course!)(OK,please do.)(Sure,go ahead.)M:So I will make a good pose.F: Well,once again? M:Sure,my next pose is like this.……

关于口语练习，可以结合听力练习一起进行，这里我就不重复了，另外看英语电影也可以练习口语，以电影对话一句为单位，静音练习。这样效果很好，熟练之后可以看着电影说对话呢！
三．阅读练习方法建议
1．根据自己掌握的词汇量选择难度适当的英语读物，一般市面上有小学，初中英语读物。
2．阅读英语书籍，不要一目十行，不是当成小说来看，要本着学习的态度去看，除非英语掌握十分出色，那另当别论。
3．在阅读过程中遇到生词不要一一去查字典，这样费时又不容易把握故事情节。大部分生词重复率很高，根据上下文可以猜测它的词性和大概意思。譬如人名，地名等。其他生词若实在影响阅读，建议马上查，然后把它记在笔记本上，作为背诵词汇之一。四．写作练习方法建议
1．经常写英语日记是最快最有效的写作练习方法，根据词汇量掌握多少，写出难度适中的日记，字数根据个人喜好调整
2．一些讲述写作方法的作文书和美文欣赏，可以买来供自己参考和借鉴。
我的小技巧：
注意观察四周一切有英语文字出现的地方。譬如路上的招牌，包装袋上的英文等等。总之时刻让自己接触英语，平时小事也不放松。
