I appreciate the opportunity to be with you today.Before I start my speech, let me ask you a question going abroad to study at a young age is beneficial to the development of a well-rounded person.Now I am here to talk to you about this question.Nowadays more and more parents are eager to send their children to study abroad before they finish high school by whatever means and at whatever cost.It is quite understandable for parents to send their children to study abroad because they place high expectations on their children.They are encouraged by successful stories of those who have completed their overseas study.Studying abroad is considered as a great opportunity in one’s life.Studying abroad not only can learn different cultures and knowledge in foreign countries, but also enrich their horizon and enhance their language proficiency.With the development of economy, companies and institutions in China are giving more and more attention on overseas experiences, too.Consequently, pursuing overseas study became a kind of short way to gain a better future.Of course, the rapid economic progress in the past few years in China has enabled more and more parents to afford the huge cost for their children’s overseas study.However, negative concerns about studying abroad have been gradually emerging our society.These children will experience cultural shocks if they study abroad living in another country.Some children could not get used to a new environment of their studying living, which may be very harmful to their growth and study.If one does not feel comfortable with the new culture of another country, he will not be happy about studying in that country.Furthermore, studying abroad can cost a great deal of living expenses.Some Chinese students are so academically successful that they receive scholarships in their studies.However, most students who study abroad do not receive scholarships.They have to deal with many unexpected hardships by living away their parents’ homeland.For example, medical insurance, daily foods, clothes, rents transportation can generate a large amount of living expenses.They need to depend on their parents for continuing their studies.Even through parents are able to pay it, but children should know that parents work is hard.In a word, Our Chinese people who study abroad should have strong characters in facing of unexpected difficulties in their lives.Different people have different minds.From what I said above, you can see as for me, overseas study is surely a helpful way to get both advanced knowledge and necessary experiences, but overseas study at an early age is neither necessary nor beneficial.The students may be too young to either tend for themselves or think for themselves.I do think that overseas study can contribute to one’s self-improvement, but it’s better to be pursued after one has finished his college study at home, when he is more capable of learning and living on his own.Thank you for your listening.

Studying abroad does not mean you will learn English magically.Many people think that they just need to live in another country and they will learn the local language.This is not completely true.You still need to pay attention and study.There are people who live in foreign countries for many, many years without knowing the language well.However, it will probably come to you easier and faster than if you just studied the language in your home country.Studying abroad can be hard.You will probably have times when you miss your family, friends, food, and everything familiar.Almost everyone goes through some culture shock.You will have to realize and accept that it will take some time to adjust to a new way of living.Studying abroad can be expensive.There is no doubt that it takes money to study abroad.It can vary from kind of expensive to very expensive.Most places don't allow international students to work.You will have to have the money before you arrive in the country or have someone from home support you.Is this something that

Advantages of Studying Abroad
You are surrounded by English.Yes, you need to pay attention and do some
studying, but everything comes faster when you do because English is everywhere-on the streets, in the stores, on the TV-you can't get away from it.Your eyes are opened to the world.We often grow up thinking that our way of doing things is the only way, or sometimes the best way.But living in a new culture helps us realize new ways of doing things, and also helps us to see that even though we are different, we are all human.And in many cases, not only will you get to know the natives of the country you are visiting, you may get to know classmates from all over the world.You learn to take care of yourself.Living in another country, even if it is with a host family, means you might be doing things you may not have done in your home country.These include cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, washing clothes, figuring out transportation, making living arrangements, setting up accounts for cell phones and utilities, etc.You may think of this as a disadvantage, but many international students go home proud that they have become very self sufficient.Your life will be forever changed.One of the greatest things that happens when you do something as big as live in another country is-you become a changed person-your outlook on life is different.Your new maturity can help lead you to new places in your life.You make memories that will last a lifetime.Your pictures, journals, and souvenirs will help you remember your time abroad, but your memories and emotions of this special time will also be a part of your life until you are very old.So how can you know if studying abroad is right for you?First, start by talking to people who have already done it.Of course everyone will have his or her own experience and point of view, but it can be really helpful to hear what other people have to say.If you don't know anyone who has studied abroad, ask others about their experiences through the internet.Dave's ESL Cafe is a good place to start.If you do decide that you are interested in going abroad, take a look at websites likeandto search for schools and get advice on where to go.Studying abroad can really change your life.And hopefully if you decide to do it, it will be a wonderful experience for you.Learning needs to go abroad to spend alot of money and effort.But many young people in particular,for some students still aspire to be able to go abroad to study.Nowadays more and more young people are going to study abroad.Like everything else,studying abroad has both favorable and unfavorable aspects.Generally,the favorable aspects can be listed as follows.Firstly,they think by attending acollege in aforeign country they can learn not only useful knowledge,but also the culture and customs of other nations.Secondly,they can take advantage of this opportunity to gain agood command of the foreign language they are learning very quickly.Moreover,they can meet different people and experience different cultures,which may help to broaden their views.Every coin has two sides.The negative aspects are also apparent.The costs are much higher than those in their native country.Most overseas students have to work for aliving,which can't allow them to pay all their attention to study.What's more,they may feel very lonely.Through above analysis,we can see that the positive aspects outweigh the negative ones.Therefore,I am in favor of going abroad to study.

同留学国家在研究生教育方面的特点各有不同。
赴英国、爱尔兰、加拿大、澳大利亚、新西兰留学的优势一是学制短，一般为一年至两年；二是英语授课，学生较容易掌握语言。劣势是学费和生活费相对较高，每年的学费加生活费约为17万元～25万元人民币，尤以英国的费用为最高。
赴法国、德国留学的优势是专业课程免学费，每年的学费加生活费约为4万元人民币。劣势是必须学第二外语。
赴新加坡、中国香港留学的优势一是可用英文授课；二是学费相对便宜：公立学校每年的学费加生活费约为1.5万元～3万元人民币，私立学校每年的学费加生活费约为12万元人民币。劣势为：一是学制较长，一般是三年；二是约77%为华人，尽管用英文授课，但出了校门之后仍然无法完全找到英文环境和体会西方的经济文化生活。

申请留学读研学生主要分三类
留学专家指出，国内研究生报名日渐火爆，背后的一个重要成因是近年来大学研究生扩招以及毕业后就业率低造成的。目前留学读研的学生主要分为三大类，第一类是学习成绩优异的学生，希望到国外接受更优秀的教育。第二类是学习成绩不理想，无法满足国内读研的需要，特别是一些热门的研究生课程，国内录取率甚至可以超过70：1。而国外一些优秀学校采用宽进严出的方式，为这部分学子降低了国外深造的门槛。第三类学生是出于双保险的考虑，对国内读研和出国留学并没有明确想法，但很明确要读研。

1、留学保证金就是办签证时的资金证明，当然是签证前就已经存满的存款，主要在签证时给vo看的，签证官需要你证明三个方面:合理,合法,可用。
a、合理:要求资助人的职位,所在地,业绩相符合的收入。比如,一个国家公务员你开七八万收入是很少见的,但是一个外资企业的高层管理人员,你开他十三四万的收入,签证官也认可的.并且未必会看纳税证明。本文由一起去留学编辑整理，转载自一起去留学http://转载请保留出处。
b、合法: 是正当的收入.我们生活中的灰色收入,签证的时候签证官可以考虑到。但是,比如（1）私自出租的房屋,没有合同和纳税.（2）私卖的房屋,只有一个合同,没有上级房屋交易中心或者中介或者管理部门的证明.（3）不合法的兼职.（4）证券从业人员买卖股票
c、可用:这是我们遇见最多的问题.不是存在你名下或者你资助人名下的资金都是可用的.签证官最喜欢的资金是存款时间长,存入间隔均匀,每笔金额小的资金.很简单,因为这样最一目了然地看出你的资金是由资助人的收入一点一点积累的.不会是借入来应付签证的.我们每人考虑自己的资金的时候,就应该这么想,我能不能说服签证官,我的资金不是借来的.主要从两个角度说服,时间长或者有资金来源.如果第一个条件不能满足,那就要证明父母的高收入。
2、至于存款如何冻结，只要去银行说明此笔款项是用于出国留学保证金用，银行就会在自己给您按照相应流程冻结，以便能轻松地从银行拿到《个人存款证明书》。要想从银行顺利拿到50万元至100万元的存款证明书，那么必须提早6个月至18个月到银行开立储蓄存款账户，在储蓄存款账户内的本币、外币、定期、活期、凭证式国债、外汇理财产品，均可申请开具《个人存款证明书》。
读书的担保金是根据学费和生活费计算的。读硕士可以从几万到几十万不等。你算一下，你的总学费加上总生活费就是你的担保金要求。由于学费上涨，汇率提高，现在读授课硕士要40万担保，研究硕士一般要20万以上的担保。
