“人生的意义是什么，答案众说纷纭。有人说要看他留下了什么；有人认为要看他的信仰；有人说要用爱来评判；还有人说人生根本就毫无意义。我？我觉得可以从那些以你为镜的人身上看到你自己人生的意义。我能肯定的是，不管按什么标准，爱德华·科尔在人世间的最后时光，比大部分人毕生的光阴更为充实。我知道，他在离世的时候合上了双眼却敞开了心灵。”这是影片开始时卡特（主人公之一，也是作者自己）所讲。人生的意义是什么。卡特没有给出答案，只留下这一个问题让观众自己从影片中去寻找。
其实不仅仅是从影片中去寻找，更是要你从自己的现实生活，以往的生活和将来的生活里去寻找。遗愿清单，每个人都有一份。人活着常常夹杂着许多遗愿，人活着也有许多的事情需要去做，但如果生命进行到了最后的关头，你还有什么遗愿，还有什么事情需要迫切的去做？是否需要一个清单呢？如果给清单上的每一个遗愿加上一个他出现的日期，我这会是怎么样的一种滋味。
生命将尽，遗愿涌现，无力完成，有时候更是没有勇气或是失去了理想而选择了放弃完成这份清单，智者就会思考活过了一生究竟是为了什么，活着说是人生的意义是什么，愚者就会感叹人世沧桑，如漫天繁花转瞬即逝，两者终究只得含恨。有一个调查，说的是人们是否愿意提前知道自己的大限，有95%的人选择了不。不仅仅是缺少勇气，而是给自己一个更自由的天地去放纵。但也容易因此悔恨。我十分佩服那些选择了是的人。
但即使是影片中的两个主人公，一个是黑人机械公（卡特），博学，一直梦想当历史教授，一个是亿万富翁（爱德华），也不是这5%的人，当获得死亡预告时，他们都选择了抗争。虽然他们知道这是一个从反抗到迷茫再到绝望最后到坦然的过程，但刚听到自己的死亡预告时，他们两人都是震惊和失望。毕竟谁也无法突如其来的面对死亡。这个时候他们自然而然的都会思考他们这一生的意义是什么。爱德华落寞的躺在床上看这棒球比赛。卡特则写下了自己这一生的遗愿。人生，就是由一个遗憾、再一个遗憾累加组合而成的，当你最终即将面对死亡的时候，就会发现这一生中有太多值得尝试的事情，却被你无情地错过了，有太多的机缘，含恨默默在眼前消逝，有太多的人事，想亲近想怀念求不再了。在卡特的清单中，有这样一些遗愿“帮助一个陌生人”、“大笑到流泪”、“欣赏最壮丽的风景”等。在写这份清单时，卡特是黯然的，他不愿爱德华看到，在写完后就扔进了垃圾桶。或许是因为害怕别人发现自己一生的价值意义是否有意义。至少他已经在某种程度上否定了自己一生的价值，关心他的妻子，他的事业，他的子女，他产生了疑问。而爱德华，更是完全的否定自己，否定他的无比成功的事业和那亿万的财产。这就是人生，而人生的意义是什么，作者在这里打上了一个大大的问号，也让观众陷入沉思。
到了这时候，亿万富翁和汽车修理工还有什么区别呢？一样的落寞懊丧。似乎人生根本就没有意义了。
随后，作者给出了自己的答案。就是完成自己的“遗愿”。当爱德华拿起篓纸里的清单，他的眼中闪过一丝光芒，这是他这一刻不曾想到的。于是他又加上了这些遗愿“亲吻世界上最美丽的女孩”、“纹身”、“跳伞”、“去埃及看金字塔”、“猎狮”。于是，在卡特和她妻子一顿争吵后他们怀着共同的愿望，穿梭在世界各地——极低冰原、印度、开罗、北京、香港、西藏„„虽然两人是怀着不同心理，爱德华对待这个‘清单’，是以一种喧闹的实践方式，反之，卡特实现愿望则更加依靠灵魂的方向，就像在见证一些庄严而宏伟的事情，更像是完全出于好心去帮助一个陌生人。而爱德华却是在寻找一种刺激，就好像从一架飞行的飞机中跳出来，或去亲吻这个世界最美的女孩。但最后的结果就是他们都找到了自己想要的人生的意义，这可以从爱德华最后的悼词中看出。人生的意义在于不留遗憾，在于做一些自己想组的事情。
这里作者似乎是在说我们应该好好珍惜机会好好对待自己。但是我们再做出选择的时候没有真真的好好对待自己吗？爱德华选择从商，他从来没有失败过;卡特虽然为了家庭而放弃了自己的理想——成为历史教授，但至少那时他选择了自己觉得应该真确的抉择，如果他当时选择继续攻读历史，那么他现在或许会有另一番的遗憾。世事无常，总有遗憾。好好珍惜现在这么简单的一个道理怎么会愚倒一片众生呢？作者要说的并不在此。事物在发展，但是是变化的发展，没人清楚它最后会发展成什么，就像自然不曾想过会创造人类，只有到了完成阶段，才会知道到底遗憾什么，幸福什么。如此一来，珍惜现在是重要，但更为重要的是要有勇气去除自己的遗憾（很多人到死时才有觉悟去完成遗愿），就是在自己死前那短暂却又实在的时间里完成自己的遗憾。毕竟你无法预料将来，无法世事随意，无法避免遗憾。作者所要说的就是尽力完成。关于影片结构，有这样的评论：影片给人的感觉既好像是一部加长版的电影预告片，而且结尾处有着明显的缺陷。——《今日美国》显然这种说法是十分对的，但也有片面性。高度的思想内涵已经超越了电影本身结构所能给观众带来的心灵上的巨大感受。

《遗愿清单》里，两个身患绝症的老头，结伴环游世界，高空跳伞，在生命的最后几个月里实现了许多曾经的梦想。这不仅仅是一次简单的旅行，而是对生命的挑战，也许在路上的某一处，他们的生命就会终止，但他们还是勇敢且开心的前进着。在生命的最后几个月，他们没有选择在病床上用尽努力来多活几个月，而是选择了出发。他们出发，是因为不想让自己的生命遗憾。弗里曼这个黑老头跟自己的妻子说，我为你们活了一辈子，现在我想为我自己活几个月。
我忽然想，如果我的生命只剩下最后六个月，我想要做的是什么？是每天准时上班准时下班，绞尽脑汁想着办公室里的那些尔虞我诈，还是找时间陪着爸爸妈妈说说话，带孩子去江滨公园放风筝，然后去那些想了无数遍的地方去旅行？我想，也许我还会找到那些久不联系的大学舍友，给她们打一个电话，问一下她们过的好不好，她们的孩子是否都可爱一如当年的她们。但这些事情，为什么我平时却总是抽不出时间做呢？因为，我总觉得我的生命还很漫长，我有足够的时间来做那些重要的事情，然后生命就这样一天一天的流过去了。也许，我们应该换一个角度来看待我们的生活。也许，我们应该用最后六个月的眼光来重新审视自己的生活。是否，我们过着的是我们需要的生活？我们是否都在为自己活着。那些我们曾经想做或者现在仍然想做的事情，是否我们都一一做了？这个问题，有多少人可以给自己一个满意的答案？把看似漫长的生命看成短暂的有限的，也许我们会发现生命里真正重要的事情。
电影里说，人的一辈子结束时，在上帝面前会被问两个问题，如果两个问题你的答案都是是，那么你就可以上天堂。第一个问题是：你快乐吗？第二个问题是：你让别人快乐了吗？所以，在我未来的那些六个月里，我会努力的做一个快乐的人，开朗的笑，关心身边的人，做一些有意义的事和自己想做的事。我希望，不论在何时，我的生命面临终止，我都不会给自己留下遗憾。
In the movie 《The Bucket List》，two old man with incurable disease travelled around the world together，performed skydiving，and achieved many dreams that had just been dreams once during the last few months of their lives.It was not a simple journey，but also a challenge to life.Because maybe their life would have to stop in a certain time and a certain place far away from home.However，they marched on happily and bravely.In the last few months of their lives，they chose to start off instead of trying to struggle another few months in hospital.It’s obviously that they didn’t want to feel regret for their life.The black man Carter said to his wife that he had lived all of his life for his family，which was contrary to his initial dream，therefore，he desired to live just for hinself in the end of his life.It made me think of myself.What if my life had only six months？What do I really want to do？To go to work on time every day，intriguing against each other；to spare more time chatting with my parents；to fly a kite in the park with my kids.Probably I would contact my roomates，asking whether they lived happily or not，and whether or not their kids were lovely taking after them.But why didn’t I do them in my daily life？It’s because that I had an inherent idea that it’s still a long way to go before my life come to the end，and I have enough time to do the things I considered important.Hence，the precious days fly away unconsciously.Maybe we should treat our life with another attitude.Maybe we should inspect our own lives again with a view that there are only six months left.Are you living the life you dreamed of？Do you live for yourself？Have you finished doing the things you desperately want to do when you are young？How many people can give themselves a satisfactory answer to these questions？Maybe we will find the most improtant thing in our life only when we regard the endless life as short and limited.Have you found joy in your life？Has your life brought joy to others？I quote the two sentences from 《The Bucket List》movie lines to reflect on myself.Just as the classic lines of the movie “our lives are streams，flowing into the same river，towards whatever haven lies in the mist beyond the falls.Find the joy in your life，my dear friend，close your eyes，and let the waters take you home.”，I will make effort to be an optimistic person with brilliant smile and caring，and do many meaningful things.Hopefully，whenever I have to face the termination of my life，I won’t have a lifelong regret.

《遗愿清单》是导演罗伯.霍恩于2007年拍摄并上映的，讲述了两个得了癌症的老人在人生最后时刻所进行的一系列看似疯狂的事情。并在做完这一切的时候去世的故事。故事很老套，似乎就是弥留之际的挣扎，然而影片所传递的内容和思想却不仅仅如此。
故事从Edward因为癌症住进自己经营的医院开始，一生致力于一个病房两张床，谁也不能搞特殊的Edward，住进了自己进营的医院里，并且和Carter—另外一个患了癌症的人住在一起。Carter和Edward完全来自于社会的不同阶层，Edward声名显赫，拥有亿万家财；Carter是一名普通的维修工，一辈子渴望成为一名历史学教授。就是这样两个看似毫无相同点的人却因为疾病住到了一起，彼此见证着对方被病痛所折磨，在半夜吗啡药效过去后的疼痛。直到有一天医生告诉Edward他只有六个月的时间了。Edward淡定的对医生说，你挡住了我看电视。同病相怜的两个老人都知道了自己的时间无多，直到有一次，Edward看到了Carter记载一辈子遗憾的本子，“亲吻世界上最美丽的女孩”，“大小到流眼泪”，“跳伞”，“见证世界上最壮丽的风景”·Edward在奚落了一会Carter后决定作为帮他实现这些心愿的人要求和他一起去。将记载这些心愿的小本子叫做“遗愿清单”。

影片到这里就讲完了所有的故事，但就是这样一个看似平淡的故事却有着让人沉浸其中的力量。当电视机屏幕上出现了演职人员名单时，我却依然电影所引发的思考当中。死亡对于我们每一个人来说是一道不可逾越的鸿沟。我想这世界上最残忍的事情就是让一个人与之死亡吧？因为这样一来他就宣告了你生命的完结，现在所体验到的或幸福或悲伤的情绪，也许在下一秒钟就不复存在，或者只是变成你变成一剖土灰时眼角仍然埋藏的一滴眼泪。这样的残酷对于一个人来说折磨是巨大的。同时与死亡一样不可抗拒的便是我们一生中总会有的遗憾和不能完成的心愿。那些心愿或是梦想或是别人看起来的一些臆想，但总归那其中凝结这一些我们曾经以为的最美好的事物。所以当影片中的两个老人踏上了完成心愿的路途的时候，你心中是否也一闪而过的有一些小激动呢？
相信也一定会有的，世事沧桑，瞬息万变，我们不可把控的实在太多，留下的遗憾也实在太多，那些遗憾你会带他们到进到坟墓还是在有生之年将他们实现呢？亦或者是及时行乐，人生不留遗憾呢？ 这部影片所传递的思想当然不止于此，对于死亡的恐惧我们所有人都是相同的，然而在死亡之前，那些我们所一贯认为是正确的珍惜的到底是对是错呢？是财富或者美食与地位是该珍惜的，还是那些美
好的值得珍惜的感情呢？就像影片中的Carter和Edward，当生命即将走到尽头的时候，Carter和家人呆在一起，Edward和方便食品呆在一起，直到最后才按Carter的遗嘱去和女儿和好，体验到了前所未有的天伦之乐，我想这也是他最终能创造奇迹的原因。
