Dreams!How nice do they sound? I am not talking about the dreams we have when we are asleep but about the life long aspirations in each one of us.I am sure many or rather should I say all of us have goals in our lives.It could be the goal to be the next millionaire or to be a popular celebrity.Even if your goal is something small, you should be proud that you do have a goal.Dream is just like diamond, only one carat can inspire more.Dream is just like a seed, it can develop into a tree that shelter all the world;dream is like a light, it can ensure the right direction of our future;and ,what’s more ,dream can be everything we want, as long as we have a dream.Dream is never too small.Stop listening to the people who tell you why you will not achieve your dreams.You just need to believe you can do whatever it is you want to do.Other people can only discourage us temporarily, but you are the only one who can prevent yourself from being discouraged permanently.The adage” the celestial bodies are regular in their motion, so should the superior man labor unceasingly to strengthen his own character” is still quite applicable and useful today.We students, to live and succeed in this ever changing world, will work hard and never cease to improve ourselves, to let our dreams come true.We should stop giving reasons why we cannot achieve our dreams.Many so-called reasons are merely excuses.If we continue giving excuses for not achieving, it will not take long before we convince ourselves that we really cannot accomplish what we originally set out to achieve.So never say that your dream will forever be a dream.Do not underestimate the power of having a dream or goal in life.If you are dreaming of something that you would like to happen, go ahead, plan on making that dream a reality and watch how easily you can attain that target.Don't live up to ourselves.Now, I am just on the way to realize my dream.I wish everybody can become the people who you want to be!

I dream of being a doctor.My mother is a doctor.She always has to work extra hours and comes home late and tired.She has to go to the hospital immediately any time she is needed, no matter how late it is at night.When I was very little and still in primary school, I once asked her why she chose such a boring and hard job.She answered with a smile, “Yes I am sometimes very tired but seeing my patients getting better and better makes me happy from the bottom of my heart.”
As I grow up, I gradually come to understand her words and realize doctors are noble.I made up my mind to be a doctor when I was in junior school and this has never changed since then.I really hope to see a world where there is no cancer, no Aids, no fatal disease, no one suffering from illness.But this is only a fantasy.What about the reality? There are still many many people who are faced with disastrous disease and suffering from constant pain.There are still many many people living in miserable condition and live miserably.There are still many many people dying of cancer and leaving the beautiful world reluctantly.All those things make me feel sad because I think everyone has the right to live.I want to help the sick and reduce their pain as much as I can.I want to bring a healthy body to the patients and save their lives as many as I can.I want to see people cured ,living happily with their families and friends after my treatment.So I want to be a doctor ,an angel in white.When I become a doctor, I will cherish each life regardless of the races, sexes, ages, positions and occupations.I will do every bit to cure the incurable.I already have a dream in my heart,so I have to make every effort to realize it.As a high school student now,I will seize every chance to study hard,arm myself with knowledge, prepare myself for the future and strive for my dreams.I will be determined, face the reality bravely and not surrender to any problems I meet.Is’s like Gothe says,“The important thing in life is to have a great aim and be determined to attain it.”Being a doctor is my dream.I think it is simple but meanful.

Hello, everyone!It’s my honor to speak here, and I’m very glad to share my topic with you.Then today I’d like to talk something about a cartoon calld Slam Dunk.Maybe you can’t understand what is Slam Dunk, but if I tell you its Chinese name, you must know ,it’s ‘灌篮高手’.Slam Dunk is a Japanese cartoon whose author is Yasushi male merits.It is a story about the growth of a senior high school basketball team—Shohoku.Takenori Akagi, the captain of Shohoku, was a great basketball centre.Due to the lack of good co-workers, Akagi couldn’t realize the dream of making Shohoku step on the national stage.With the join of Hanamichi Sakuragi, a born athlete who grew at an unbelievable speed, Kaeda Rukawa, the super rookie and the rejoin of Ryota Miyagi, a great backfielder as well as ‘a senior kid’, Hisashi Mitsui, an ex-MVP of junior high school but once missed himself in a wrong way, Shohoku strived against the other strong basketball teams and finally won the tickets to the national competition.From an unknown basketball team to a strong one, Shohoku caught people’s eyes gradually and became an outstanding basketball team in the Janpanese senior high school field.Slam Dunk, let me have tears all over my face in the joke, let me still shock after ten years.It lets me like basketball, lets me know the meaning of dream.Do you have the same feeling with me?

Who can say Akira Sendoh and Kenji Fujima who didn’t attend national competition are not heroes? The main teams in Slam Dunk don’t get first, which Slam Dunk wants to tell us: win-lose is not everything.The important thing is you have tried, you have done all you can, then you have succeed!Everyone in Slam Dunk all looked squarely at failure: Akira Sendoh said I can start from scratch with smile when he faced the sky… Can you say they lose?
