熊宁去世后，西安市碑林区委宣传部的张红喜编写了《感动中国的天使熊宁》一书，记录了熊宁赴青海玉树的感人事迹。玉树发生地震后，昨日一整天，张红喜的电话几乎被打爆了，很多同事和朋友都打电话给我，说想给玉树捐款捐物，问我咋捐？

在一家保险公司工作的牛华是这些人中的一位。那里现在还挺冷的。得知玉树地震后，牛华打算将家里的厚衣服整理一下，给玉树灾区寄过去。我是一个普通的上班族，有钱出钱，有力就出力吧。牛华说，自己从电视上看到玉树县房屋倒塌很严重，很多部队都赶去救援，这个时候，那里的物资一定非常匮乏，民众在物资和心理上都特别需要支援。我们更应该发扬大家庭的温暖，去帮助那里受灾的同胞。

义工玉树地震中舍身救人

在青海玉树一家孤儿院做慈善义工的香港人黄福荣，14日在协助搜救孤儿院被困师生过程中遭遇余震不幸罹难。连日来，黄福荣舍身救人的事迹在香港和内地广为传颂。

黄福荣的姐姐黄月秀16日在香港接受专访时说：感谢所有人的关心。希望福荣的故事能令其他有心人多做善事，帮助有需要的人。

黄福荣本是到青海玉树的慈行喜愿会孤儿院做义工，于8日到达玉树。14日地震发生后，孤儿院受到严重损毁，本已跑出倒塌院舍的黄福荣，得知3名孩子和3名老师仍被困后，即折返现场协助搜救。其间余震频发，黄福荣在一次余震中不幸罹难。
