本学期共要学习两本书,即两个模块,每个模块共有3个单元,每个单元由Welcome to the unit、Reading、Word Power、Grammar & usage、Task、Project和Self-assesment共七个部分组成。
新课程标准下的高一英语既注重基础知识的考查又强调灵活运用能力。为了适应这一趋势,提高教学质量,要求狠抓基础知识,拓宽词汇,提高课堂容量与效益,并努力培养学生良好的学习习惯,培养其自觉性、主动性、积极性,突出教师的主导地位及学生的主体地位,时刻以提高学生英语成绩为目的。
二、教学方法与措施预设
1、认真落实备课,充分调动学生的聪明才智
本学期准备进行集体研讨,统一教学进度、教学目标、重难点,做到教学案一体化;强调分工合作,收集资料,充分发挥集体的聪明才智能;坚持默写单词及重点句型。
2、拓宽教材,扩展学生阅读量,努力补充学生的词汇
选用《英语周报》,从而提高扩展学生阅读量,培养其阅读能力,扩充学生的词汇量,处处为适应高考而作准备。
3、听力训练到位,锻炼学生听力能力
利用好《英语周报》上的听力材料,注重听力技巧的培养,锻炼提高学生的听力能力。

每部分教完后都有有一小张测试练习,以检测该部分是否掌握;每单元结束后进行一次小型考试,以便调整下一阶段的学习和教学活动。

从学生高一期末考试情况来看,存在以下三方面问题:
①在思想上、态度上放松或放弃的现象有所表露,读,不会读,就谈不上听得懂,看得懂,从而导致破罐子破摔的现象。
②基础知识不够扎实,灵活运用语言的技能相对薄弱。
③运用能力不够强实。学生的阅读能力、理解能力、分析能力、判断能力、应变能力等均不能较好地适应考查要求。
如何改进我们目前的英语课堂教学,提高课堂教学质量,需要我校高一英语教师的认真研究。语言学习的关键在于语言知识的积累,只有通过学习者亲身的体验和摸索,才能学会并掌握语言知识,从而达到在交际中灵活使用语言的目的。
三、2012学期高一下英语教学做法(1)认真落实集体备课
以集体备课为形式,集备课组全体的智慧做好日常的教学工作。(2)拓宽教材,扩展学生阅读量,努力补充学生的词汇 补充自选阅读材料,培养学生的阅读能力,并以这些材料为基础,扩充学生词汇量,做到每学完一篇课文,就进行词汇检测。(3)综合检查
准备每一周做一次练习,主要以结合当前教学内容为主要测试内容, 间或分块测试,适时引导学生自我评价,从而调整下阶段的学习。(4)教学进度
课文每单元用9课时完成。1课时用于welcome,3课时用于reading, 2课时用于grammar,1课时用于task,1课时用于project,1课时用于练习。争取16周内完成牛津版模块3.4。
四、训练原则
1.习题的训练在于精而不在于多。在教学中尽量按照高考的知识体系有针对性地选择典型性题目。针对共性问题进行精讲,让学生在书本中找到解决问题的源泉,学会思考、整理和归纳。2.听力训练到位,锻炼学生听力能力
利用好学生《听力训练材料》的题目及《英语学习辅导报》上的听力,注重听力技巧的培养,锻炼提高学生的听力能力。3.随堂巩固练习及单元综合检查
