My career planning

When I got us this topic, I have no idea about a more pretty title, so I just use this one.Maybe the simplest one is the best one.But first of all, I'd like to take this opportunity to give my genuine appreciation to Mr Duan(段均),Thanks for your hard work in the whole semester,for forgiving us late for class.Now we have been at end of the first semester.So it’s time for me to have a career plan.Firstly, I must take the best use of my rest time in the university.As physics major, except for leaning quantum mechanics and some other courses.I must spend much more time improving my English.Course you know,CET-6 is a big thing for us all.Besides the major, I should try to read more books in other areas, such as the socialism, economy, and so on.And I think I should improve my interests deeply, such as playing basketball, running, Chinese writing, and so on.Just as an old saying goes that one’s interests is his best teacher.college is a good time for one to develop it, for I have a lot of spare time.My plan is to make my interests into my ability.Secondly, here comes the question of what I should do after the graduation.When I was young, my dream is to go to high school, and when I was in my high school, my dream is to go to the best college.But now it hasn`t became true.So it means that I will continue to pursue it.Maybe the The final result is still failure.If I lose in the end, then I will go to work.Then I will choose to be a teacher in a high school ,maybe just in my hometown.The above is my career plan.It will take a long time to fulfill it, or maybe one day I will have a new plan.No matter what it will become, I will always comply with my mind, because I believe any conclusion that I made is the result of a long time’s thinking.In conclusion, what is the most important thing.Live everyday like it`s your last day.

英语口语演讲比赛策划书

一、活动背景:

在21世纪的今天，英语成了中国人的第二母语，随着时代步伐的加快，国际经贸的频繁，世界文化的交流，英语成了每个人的必修课。特别是对于当代大学生来说，掌握英语可以获得更多的机遇与挑战。由于中国应试教育所带来的环境的负面影响，大多数大学生只懂得考试懂得写，却不懂得用英语口语交流，甚至缺少自信与胆量去大声说英语。因此我们管理工程系分团委学生会举办英语口语演讲比赛，是想通过这个机会，给同学们提供一个展示英语口语水平的平台，在这里，可以秀出自信，秀出自我！

二、活动目的：

1.本着“Something attempted, something done.（没有尝试，就没有成功）”的口号，为了让莘莘学子大胆说出口，秀出来，给英语跳动的声音，激情从此延续；为了丰富大学生的大学生活、提高同学们的英语水平、提高英语素质；为了创建良好的英语学习氛围，同时激发同学们对英语学习的兴趣，英语口语演讲比赛应运而生了。

2.丰富同学们的课余生活，为大家提供一个学习和交流的平台，充分调动同学们对英语口语的兴趣和积极性，提高同学们的英语口语水平。

3.通过举办活动为同学们提供一个互相交流和学习的机会，加深对英语口语重要性的认识。

三、活动主题：

Super SpokenTranscend myself(超级口语，超越自己)

五、活动对象：

管理工程系全体学生

六、活动时间：

初赛时间：4月12日（第八周星期二）下午

决赛时间：4月26日（第十周星期二）下午

七、评选过程

（一）初赛阶段：

1.初赛时间为：4月12日（第八周星期二）下午）

2.参加评选方式为：

（1）初赛流程：选手自我介绍：不必拘于简单的自我介绍，可以加

入歌曲、名言、幽默等，为自己提升人气（不超过1分钟）

（2）美文朗读：由参赛者自行抽题（共设15篇美文，限定为2分

钟）。

（3）评委提问1-2个问题。

（二）决赛阶段：

1.决赛时间: 4月26日（第十周星期二）下午

2.决赛地点：多媒体课室

3.决赛赛前：选手签到，抽签决定1-10号

4.决赛主要流程：

（1）比赛组成：

A自我展示：每位选手简单的进行自我介绍和自己的人生格言或播放自己亲友团的短片。

B 命题演讲（限时三分钟）。命题演讲结束后，评委提问1-2个

问题，选手回答限时一分钟。

C我猜我猜我猜猜猜：参赛选手根据现场提供的图像，组员配合一个背对一人用英语描述而猜出其图象，表演时间为3分钟。备用：即兴演讲（选手准备30秒，限时演讲2分钟）。

（2）说明：

A参赛者围绕我们的主题在比赛前选好文章进行演讲。

B我猜我猜我猜猜猜：参赛选手根据现场提供的图像，组员配合一个背对一人用英语描述而猜出其图象，表演时间为3分钟。备用：即兴演讲（选手准备30秒，限时演讲2分钟）。

C评委用英语提问，可以是与主题有关的或演讲者在演讲过程中涉及到的问题或是评委感兴趣的问题，参赛者用英语回答，这考察了选手们的应变能力和对英语的运用能力。

八、参赛规则

1.选手必须准时到比赛场地，迟到超过15分钟又没提前告知负责人者视自动弃权。

2.决赛提前30分钟到场签到。

3.选手超时，评委酌情扣分。

九、评分细则

（一）仪表形态（20分）

1.着装整齐，大方得体，富有表现力。

2.姿态自然，动作适度，能够灵活运用表情和身体语言与观众交流。

（二）演讲内容（50分）

1.主题鲜明，符合主题内容（25分）。

2.内容充实，事例动人，贴近生活，富有鲜明的时代（15分）。

3.行文流畅，结构清晰，用词精练，语法正确，详略恰当（10分）。

（三）语言艺术（30分）

1.发音标准、流利（10分）。

2.节奏处理得当，技巧运用自如（10分）。

3.表现力、应变能力强，能活跃气氛，引起高潮（10分）。

4.选手超时，评委酌情扣分。

注：

（1）初赛由评委打分去掉最高分和最低分，取平均分，按最高分 依次排名。

（2）决赛由评委打分，按最高分依次选出一等奖（1名）、二等奖（2）、三等奖（3名）及优秀奖（4名）。

A:I think it is generally more structured,formal, impersonal,and wordy.B:yes,it is complex ,formal,objective,explicit,and responsible.it has many differences between the academic writing and ordinary english.the context of ordinary english is dependent,such as “Jack, here’s a politician coming out now.”on the contary, the one of academic writing is independent,for example，as the text is removed from the situation, all the information has to be supplied.A:what’s more,we often use personal,informal,colloquial language in the ordinary english while formal language in the academic writing,for instance,we often say “I got it”in the diary life,however, we use understand instead of these phrase in the academic writing.besides,the language of ordinary english is active while the academic writing passive.for example,when they arrested her,but in academic writing,we do not write like this,we should write like that:when she was arrested.apart from that,in the academic writing ,we usually use long noun phrases,such as student rebelion against the government’s policy to increase student fees has its origins in the austrialia’s social wefare history.B:yeah,so great ,what you said were comprehensive.and we should need more practise to improve academic writing.A:indeed,we must try our best to study it if we want to write a perfect paper.
