1.打电话用语： 在用英语打电话时，如果要问对方“你是……吗？”一般用：Is that/this…?Is that/this…speaking?其中that 表示打电话的另一方。不能说Are you …?回答时也要说：

Yes, this is…speaking.Yes, …is speaking.是的，我是……（在讲话）。No, it isn’t.He/she isn’t here at the moment.不，不是。他/她此刻不在。

要某人接电话一般用：Can I speak to …, please?May I speak to …, please? Could I speak to …, please?请问我可以和…讲话吗？ 回答是：Certainly./Sure./Of course.当然可以。

Hold on, please./A moment ,please./wait a minute, please.请稍等。I’m afraid he isn’t here right now.恐怕他这会儿不在。2.I would love to speak English with your friends.Would love to do sth.=would like to do sth=want to do sth.想要做… would经常可缩写成’d.3.He encourages her.他鼓励她。

Encourage是及物动词，意为“鼓励”。常用于Encourage sb to do sth.鼓励某人做某事。例：My teacher encourages me to study English hard.老师鼓励我努力学英语。4.How often do you make phone calls to your friend? 你多久和你朋友通一次电话？ 1）.How often 多久，多么经常。这是就动作频率提问的疑问副词。其回答通常是once a week, twice a month, three times a day等这样的频度副词。

How often do you write to your parents?你多久给你的父母写一次信？Once a month.一月一次。2）make phone calls to…给…打电话关于打电话的表达方式很多，除此之外，还可以用call sb., phone sb., ring sb.up等。I will call you if he comes.如果他来，我就给你打电话。

Did you phone Lucy? 你给露西打电话了吗？He often rings me up late at night.他经常晚上给我打电话。Jim makes a phone call to his friend.吉姆给他的朋友打电话了。5.In Canada.It’s early in the evening.在加拿大，此刻正是傍晚。early in the evening傍晚early副词早，早先

early in the morning一清早；as early as 1911早在1991年；go to bed early早睡 6.I can’t follow you.我没有听懂你在说什么？

follow vt.跟随，跟着，理解，听的懂。本句中的意义为后者。Follow me, please.请跟我来。We follow Mr.Zhao to read the text.我们跟着赵老师读课文。Spring follows winter.冬去春来。Do you follow me? 你听懂我的话了吗？ 7.She repeats the sentence.她又把刚才的话重复了一遍。repeat vt.重复，重说，重做。意同 “do sth.again”

Please repeat what you said.请把你的话重复一遍。He repeated that sentence.他把那个句子重复了一遍。Tom repeated as his father did.汤姆照着他爸爸的样子又做了一遍。注意

repeat=say(do)it again, 在使用repeat时，不能再用again
