斯威夫特，梦断乌托邦

引言：

每个人心中都有一个梦想的世界，却鲜有人将它实现。

斯威夫特也是人类，他却将他的梦想变成文字，让一个民族拥有了同一个梦想，同时拥有了实现梦想的力量。

比起书中的人物，我更宁愿相信他们是现实中的人类。

无论是小人国的先打开大端还是小端，还是大人国的农场主，都是现实中人们争名夺利的缩影。

17世纪的斯威夫特目睹着这一切，却无力改变。

可18世纪的斯威夫特已不再是那个寄人篱下的私人秘书，而是一个成熟的政论家了。

于是，《格列佛游记》问世了，一个寄托了斯威夫特梦想的世界在书香中成形。

正文：

父亲早亡是斯威夫特苦难的开始，也是导致他毕生致力于与英国的资产阶级和宗教势力作斗争的重要原因。毕业后近十年寄人篱下的生活让他拥有了敏感的政治嗅觉，也让他拥有了为爱尔兰人民登高一呼的决心。

在教会任职，让他看透了神学的迂腐；代表托利党与辉格党斗争，让他看透了政治的黑暗。他对现实社会已不报希望，宁愿让别的种族来教化人们，即使这个种族不是人类：希望它们能够或者愿意派遣足够多的“慧骃”来教化我们，教教我们学习荣誉，正义，真理，节欲，公德，坚忍，贞洁，友谊，仁慈，忠诚等等这样一些基本原则。

可这只在斯威夫特自己的乌托邦里，就像桃花源只在陶渊明的笔中。

他拥有这些品德，可他却并不能要求别人拥有。无论斯威夫特站在爱尔兰人的立场上，如何猛烈地攻击英国政府，那些英国的绅士们依然只将目光注视在自己的钱包和土地上，对斯威夫特的口诛笔伐置若罔闻。

“你们要知道根据上帝的、自然的、各国的和你们本国的法律，你们是也应该是和你们的英国弟兄一样的自由人民。”斯威夫特的话如同自由之剑，象征了爱尔兰的自由独立，而这时斯威夫特已56岁了，他已无力再去建造他的乌托邦了。

于是，这个空想的国家出现在《格列佛游记》里，一个名叫“慧骃”的国家，一个只有理性没有罪恶的国家。

斯威夫特却没注意到，慧骃是一个文明的国家，却也是已个故步自封的国家，就像清朝一样。慧骃好比旗人，野胡好比汉人，就算满汉交融，种族歧视依然存在，无法消除。

这也许是故意的吧，如果结合时代背景的话，慧骃就是对所有诱惑免疫的人，而野胡则是那些虚伪且无耻的基督教徒，这些教徒都自认为是基督教的正宗，事实上却阳奉阴违，与地主豪绅和英国殖民主义者同流合污，残酷剥削爱尔兰人民。

“慧骃”真的存在吗？

存在，在斯威夫特的乌托邦里。

书上说斯威夫特晚年精神失常，时常昏睡。

我宁愿相信斯威夫特是在他的乌托邦里遨游，只可惜，梦想不同与现实。

第二卷：布罗卜丁奈格（大人国，作者原稿中为布罗卜丁赖格）游记

我看了爱尔兰作家斯威夫特的名著《格列佛游记》，主人公格列佛游了小人国、巨人国、慧因国、无名岛。

小人国，身高是我们的十二分之一，国王很恶毒，在那里有两座小人岛，每个岛上都有一个国王，一个岛上的国王想利用格列佛这个“巨人”占领另一个岛，格列佛不想发起战争，国王就怀疑他，准备害死他，但在最后，格列佛用一种奇特的方法离开那里，回到了英国。

巨人国，与小人国恰恰相反，身高是我们的十二倍。巨人国的国王，格列佛与他交谈，想让巨人国制作火药，枪炮来巩固国防，可是国王不同意，他不想发起战争，他宁愿失去半壁江山，也不愿涉足这种秘密，他要以理智和仁慈来治理国家。

巨人国，人大，但人好，就像官职小的人，人好，为人民做好事，这才叫做“大人”。小人国，人小，但人坏，就像官职大的人，人坏，贪得无厌，那才叫做‘小人’。
