My Ideal Job Is Teacher Good afternoon!Ladies and gentlemen,I’m very happy that I can stand on this stage.You know what? Whenever I am standing on a stage or a podium, the first sentence comes to my mind is “class begins!”Fortunately, I can control myself very well.From this, I’m sure you can guess, my ideal job is teacher.此段参考我的演讲稿。
Many people do admit that teacher is a good profession.In their minds, this job is stable, well-paid, respectable, and above all
enjoyable.However, the reason why I consider teacher as my ideal job is not all based on these aspects.理想中的好老师与下面两个故事的联系不明晰
During my 14 years school life, there are two teachers who have impressed me a lot.Both of them are my English teachers.One taught me in primary school, and the other in college.As a curious child, I quickly became interested in English.In English not imagine, I lost that interest because of two words.In that
semester, there were only ten students who failed the final exam of
English, unluckily and unexpectedly, I was one of them, all because of the oral part.My teacher gave me an unforgettable name in two
words ” poor dish”？？？？.Since then, I was too ashamed to raise my hand in English classes.此段意思不够明确，需要让听众弄清事情原委及经过。
The same failure happened to me in my university’s oral English class.The difference is that this time my oral English teacher told me,” You are just too nervous, I believe you can do itbetter.” With his encouragement, I regained my confidence in oral English little by little/gradually.Now, I am able to stand here.What I have learned from my own experience is that teachers are just like different pens, which can write in students’ lives.I don’t want to be a red-ink pen, which can only mark children’s mistakes;neither do I want to be a pencil, which isn’t able to help children write on perfect papers.I want to be a fountain pen with bottomless
knowledgeable ink so that I can help and influence my students in a good way.Only in this way, can I say I have enjoyed my ideal job.好老师与上面两个故事的联系不明晰
