I believe that one of the factors that makes a piece of literature or even a movie a masterpiece is how well the reader can relate to the story.This is definitely a book everyone can relate to.The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is a literary masterpieces, written in 1876 by the famous author Mark Twain.Tom Sawyer is a mischievous young boy who lives in the small town on the Mississippi River called St.petersburg.The story line is simple, the book reads like a biography or a memoir of a summer in Tom Sawyer's life.Tom Sawyer seems to be the precursor of and the template for misfit kids such as Dennis the Menace, Malcolm in the Middle, and Calvin and Hobbs.What makes this story great is that Tom Sawyer represents everything that is great about childhood.The book is filled with Tom's adventures playing pirates and war with his friend Joe Harper.Tom has a trusted friend, Huck Finn, who few of the adults approve of.The book is filled with ideas of how the world works, such as how pirates and robbers work, that are so innocent, they could only come from a child.It is a story filled with action, adventure, ingenious ideas, love, and schoolyard politics.The whole story is seemingly a complication of what people did or wish they did during their childhood.The book is a little difficult to read at first.personally, it takes me a little while to get used to the 19th century dialect in the book.Other than referring to persons of African decent in derogatory terms(which I'm sure uses terms even young children already know), the book would be an enjoyable read for people of all ages.I highly recommend this book for anyone looking to feel young again, if just for a few hundred pages.故事的主人公汤姆是个天真、活泼而又顽皮的典型美国少年。他和野孩子夏克，各干出了许多令人捧腹的妙事。像汤姆被罚粉刷围墙，竟施出诡计，不但使别的孩子心甘情愿代替他工作，还自动奉上谢礼。后来和夏克逃到荒岛去，人们以为他们淹死了，正在教堂为他们举行丧礼，而他们却躲在教堂的钟楼上偷听。这些顽皮的举动，虽然不能给我们做模范，但是，他为了正义，毅然地挺身出来作证人，拯救那无辜的罪犯沫夫彼得。并在顽皮之余，居然和夏克破获了一桩谋杀案，成为众人钦佩的小英雄。看来，汤姆也有值得我们学习的地方。

人总是会长大的，除了个儿长高了，身子强壮了以外，人的思想也在长。你对世界的看法不同了，懂事了，不再幼稚了。不过人是要越变越好才是。千万不能像历险记里的那个心狠手辣的坏蛋卓伊一样，他坏事做尽，人见人憎。但最后他还是恶有恶报，得到了一个活活饿死在山洞里的下场。

看完《汤姆索亚历险记》，我真羡慕汤姆能有如此有趣的经历。这本书让人看起来津津有味，甚至废寝忘食。我想，《汤姆索亚历险记》在你烦闷的时候或许能让你一笑解千愁。

After reading it for several days, I finally finished reading the adventures of Tom Sawyer. This book is very interesting. I like Tom, the hero of the book. He is a clever, brave and mischievous child.

I especially like thirty-one chapters. During apicnic, Tom and his friendBecky riddled their way in a cave. They were starving for several days, facing the danger and horror of death. They saw the murderer, Anjo of India, and many terrible bats. Tom found his way out of the cave by leading the kite line tied to the stone. How admirable is Toms perseverance and courage.

In the future, no matter what kind of difficulties we encounter, we should, like Tom, use wisdom and strength toovercome difficulties and save ourselves. I really envy Tom for such an interesting experience.

最近我读了一本书，它的名字叫做《汤姆·索亚历险记》，讲述了五件事情。第一件是墓地试胆量；第二件事是当“海盗”；第三件事是鬼屋寻宝；第四件事情是山洞迷路；第五件事再次寻宝。在墓地试胆量的时候，恰巧看见乔埃杀死一个医生，又嫁祸给醉鬼彼得。汤姆、乔奇、哈克三个孩子当“海盗”的念头产生了他们在荒了，无人烟的杰克岛成了三个“小海盗”的快乐大本营。正当镇上的村民要给三个小鬼开追悼会的时候，他们又出现汤姆和哈克来到鬼屋翻寻时遇到了乔埃和一个陌生人，他们把金币藏到“二号十字架下面”，话被汤姆和哈克听得一清二楚。贝琪邀请她的同学去山上野营，但汤姆和贝琪却上洞中迷路了，汤姆的勇气和智慧让贝琪有了信心，在洞中，汤姆遇到了乔埃，乔埃撒腿就跑汤姆带着贝琪找到了出口。汤姆和哈克挖出了乔埃埋藏的那些金币。

当决定要和孩子一起读《汤姆索亚历险记》这本书时，我对于书的内容已经有了一点了解，但还未真正地阅读过。我的儿子是一个性格比较内向，很遵守纪律，很遵循原则的孩子。他好恶感分明，并一直以一个听话的好孩子的标准要求自己，除了在学习上他有一些惰性，并有些贪玩的表现外，他可以说是一个不折不扣的让家长省心的好孩子。我之所以选择了《汤姆索亚历险记》这本书，就是想让孩子读一本描写与他性格相反，但又处于同一个年龄段的主人公的书，然后与他一起分析书中人物的性格与品质，从而了解孩子的感受，也希望他能保留自己的优点，汲取别人的智慧，不断地成为一个趋于完美的少年。

我们母子共同读完了《汤姆索亚历险记》，我发现我的选择是正确的。当我们看到第二章时，儿子对于汤姆就产生了极大的反感，在第二章中，汤姆充分的显示了自己的聪明才智，为了能让别人帮他刷墙，他故意把刷墙表现得很有意思，让其他的孩子为了能刷到墙，心甘情愿的给他东西，作为劳酬。我问儿子，汤姆聪明吗？儿子的回答出乎我的意料，他说汤姆是个坏孩子，不劳而获，这是在耍小聪明，他不听家长的话，还欺骗家长，他不会向他学习的。其实无论是在童年还是在人生的其他各个阶段，无论是孩子还是成人，在这个物欲横流的社会背景下，每个人都把不劳而获、利用各种手段轻松赚取别人的财富作为荣耀之事，虽然我们也知道那些有时是可耻的，甚至与经
