对于自我陈述，很多人首先就会关心是在面试的哪个阶段进行考察。请问自我陈述一定会是在面试的开头部分吗?诚然，绝大多数人都可能潜意识认为自我陈述一定会是在面试的一开始就问。但其实并不是所有的自我陈述都会在面试一开始就要求考生做自我陈述，而是有可能在面试的中段，甚至是在结尾一道面试题中进行考察。而且很重要的一点就是，现在面试中的自我陈述题，已不一定是像传统意义上的“自我介绍”，如考官不一定会直接问你：“请你简要介绍自己的情况。”因为从面试考察的效度来看，这样简单直接要求考生“介绍自己”，容易被考生事先作好充分准备，这样一来就存在两个缺点：一是不能考察到考生的临场反应能力，面试是希望看到考生在短时间内对所问话题的反应速度;二是不能真实地反映考生的真实情况和想法，因为在事先准备的情况下，考生很容易预先“隐藏”自身的“不足之处”，同时有意凸现自己的“特长”，这不利于考官全面准确地衡量考生是否合适招考的职位。

那么对于这种情况，面试考题一般来说，会作一定的“变形”，不是直接让考生知道考官是要考察自我陈述，而会是从一个侧面，比较隐含地要求考生介绍自己的情况。而对于介绍自己的情况，考官不会要求考生做“全面介绍”，而会是对某一角度进行“局部介绍”。而这种介绍往往是有一定的限定条件，而不会允许考生“天马行空”的谈自己的经历。谈到这里，或许有人会问“戴斌老师，自我陈述应该长些好，还是短些好呢?”对于这个问题，我的看法是不宜过长，要针对题目中限定条件来回答，不能超出题目中限定条件，而且要坚持这样一个大原则：谈优点时要“事实客观、目光长远、态度平缓”，谈缺点时要“坦然、自信”。

所谓谈优点时要“事实客观、目光长远、态度平缓”。这里的“事实客观”，就是指所谈的优点不应该脱离实际，最好要“中庸”一些。“目光长远”，是指对待优点要明确一个看法，就是现在的优点只是“暂时”的，不代表“永久”，需要在未来不断努力，保持甚至超越现在的“优点”。“态度平缓”就是指，一个人可以自信，但不能自负。对于“优点”，考生在表述个人“优点”是永远是“平缓”的介绍优点，而不是沾沾自喜地“炫耀” 优点。

所谓谈缺点时要“坦然、乐观、自信”。“坦然”就是指不回避自身的缺点，要把一个人有缺点看成是一个“必然”的现象，而不是一个需要去“遮掩”的“偶然”现象。“自信”就是不会因为自身有一定的缺点，而盲目悲观。面试时候，谈到自身缺点，无论是自己指出还是简历中显示的，都要在自我陈述时，要显得“底气十足”。实际上考生要在面试中表达这样一个信息，要“自信地”认为“缺点是可以改造的”，同时“缺点”是来自身的“不成熟”，而非个人的态度。

这里我要讲一个例子，曾有一个考生问过我这样一个问题：“我不是名校毕业生，学历只是本科，而且也没有基层工作经验，而我的专业是经济，每次考都会与很多名校的、高学历、工作经验丰富的人一起去竞争一个职位，我能行吗?即使过了笔试，我在面试时条件一定比不过他们，我还要考吗?”对于这位考生的问题，我当时听完后，心情确实很复杂。诚然，名校的、高学历、工作经验丰富的人常常都是属于比较优秀的人，但不代表我们的“普通考生”就需要放弃。因为每一个人都会有自身的优点，同样，表面看上去条件“普通”的考生也会有其不“普通”的一面。所以，当时我对该考生的回答是“两个原因不该放弃：一是公务员考试是选拔合适在机关工作的人做公务员，这里最重要的是“合适”，而不是“优秀”。正如最后成为公务员的考生未必是所有考生中最优秀的一个，但一定是最合适该职位的一个。能否成为公务员并不与个人优秀与否直接挂钩。而是与考生是否符合该公务员职位的具体工作要求有直接的联系。二是公务员的面试实际上是对面试者个人素质的全面衡量，名校、高学历、工作经验丰富等方面只是其中一部分衡量因素，而非全部，如果考生能把自身的优点在面试中体现，同时最好能把自身的优点与该公务员职位的具体工作要求直接联系，充分证明自己是合适人选，那么即使非名校、非高学历、非工作经验丰富的考生，同样有很大几率脱颖而出，关键还是“合适”二字。

以上谈完了做自我陈述的大原则，让我们一起来看一道经过“变形”后有一定限定条件的“自我陈述”题。并以这道题目为范例，谈一下具体如何在面试中做好自我陈述。

请问你觉得你自己在哪些方面比较适合我们单位招考的这个职位呢?

分析：首先，考生是否适合招考职位主要从以下几个方面来看：

一、个人专业知识的角度

一般来说，绝大多数公务员的招考职位都会有特定的专业限制，很少没有专业限制的(除了特定职位外)。所以对于考生是否适合招考职位来说，首看专业是否对口，那么或许会有考生问：“戴斌老师，正常来说，所有符合报考条件的考生专业都是对口，那么如何体现个人专业知识上的优势呢?”在这里，如何体现个人专业知识上的优势就要因人而异了。

专业知识上的优势有两种：一种是学习成绩上的优势，另一种是实际操作能力的优势。对于成绩好的应届考生，当然在回答该问题时，可以在陈述中提到自己的在校成绩，用优异的在校成绩来证明自己专业知识上的优势。在这里，有一个很关键的点就是，考生要把自身所取得的优异在校成绩主要归功于在校老师的辛勤培育以及个人的勤奋，切忌说“自己天分高”、“接受能力强”或“从小到大成绩都比较优秀”之类的话，这类话一旦说出会给人“自视过高”的印象，不利于在面试中获得高分。

而对于成绩一般的应届考生，那么回答该问题的时候，就要注意不要给考官一个在校期间“无心向学，不勤奋，不热爱本专业”的感觉。在专业知识上的优势时，应该突出自己比较注重专业知识的实际运用，要强调自己热爱本专业的知识，但注意力集中在实际运用方面，并且强调在学习专业知识过程中得到了老师的关照和爱护，学到很多很实用的知识。对于学习成绩不特别好的原因，考生可以这样回答：原因是自己本身考试的方法相对比较薄弱，不大会考试，而自身的学习注意力很多时候没有在考试题目上，所以一定程度上影响了考试成绩，但自身对考试的态度是很认真的，同时老师对自己的教育很好，自己在校所学已经可以适应社会的要求。

对于非应届考生来说，就需要强调自身毕业后从事的是与本专业相关的职业。要告诉考官，自己是一个幸运的人，自己在毕业后遇到了很专业很有水平的领导和同事，得到了他们的许多帮助，在工作中学到许多专业知识，自己在毕业后提高了很多。而自己刚开始参加工作的时候，由于工作经验不够，许多在校的专业知识无法很好地应用在工作中，但有了工作经验后，自己已能很好地把专业知识应用在工作中，所以自己从专业知识的角度是很适合该招考职位的。

二、个人性格的角度

谈到考生的个性是否合适招考职位，那就要从公务员职位对考生个性要求的共性和个性分别着手分析了。从公务员性格的共性上看，要几方面共同的要求：“谦虚谨慎、沉着冷静、胆大心细、敢于承担责任、团结而顾全大局、服从上级”考生在做自我陈述的时候就要把这些要求融合在答题中。同时也要关注公务员性格的个性，对于这方面的准备，考生在面试前就要回顾报考时招考职位的具体要求，是分配到哪个部门、哪个岗位、是否要派往外地工作等等，以及要上网站查询报考单位的具体业务。从这些单位业务信息及招考职位信息来找到具体职位对面试者性格上的特殊要求。总之，要有针对性地体现自己的性格无论从公务员所需性格的共性还是个性上看，自己都是适合从事公务员职业的人选，而且是可以长期从事公务员职业的人选。(河南华图公务员考试培训学校提供)

三、个人经历的角度

这里的个人经历从时间段上来划分主要指两方面：学校经历和工作经历。

对于好范文来说，主要的经历当然是指学校经历，那么在学校中的经历主要有工作经历、学习经历、获奖经历、勤工助学经历。

学校中的工作经历主要分为：学校团委工作经历(团干部)、学生会工作经历(学生会干部)、社团工作经历(社团干部)、班集体的工作经历(班干部)。对于考生来说，这部分的陈述应该有所侧重，重点谈自己最辉煌的一面。这里有一点需要强调的是，如果面试的考生在校期间的学生工作经历非常丰富，几乎遍及各个方面，那么请注意，切不可陈述时间过长，挑最有代表的部分来说就可以，陈述时间过长一方面显得累赘，另一方面有可能让面试考官觉得考生在“炫耀”，易引起考官的“不好印象”，不利于面试中获得高分。

学校中的获奖经历，这里包括体育、文艺、科技方面的奖项，这里有一点需要注意的是不需要罗列具体的获奖项目。打个比方，假如戴斌老师在面试的时候这样说：“本人曾获得全校第二届“当代大学生三个代表”征文比赛的一等奖、“联想未来”三校征文比赛一等奖……”。大家试想一下，假如戴斌老师这样对面试考官罗列自己的“奖项”，面试考官会有好印象吗?不会。而且这样的罗列完全没有必要，因为完整具体的获奖经历在考生的资料中已有显示。对于上述的情况，实际上正确的表述方法应该是说：“本人获得过一些征文比赛比赛的奖项，在写文章方面有一定特长，可以在机关从事(胜任)一定的文字处理工作”。

对于勤工助学经历，可以说很多人都忽视了这方面的内容。实际上这种经历很能体现考生的一种精神，一种毅力，那就是考生在经济不宽裕的情况下，仍然可以靠自己的努力完成学业，这种经历本身就是一个值得赞扬的经历，考生如能很好地体现自己这方面的经历，应该是可以获得不少的印象分。

对于非好范文，即在职人士来说，工作经历就要做为侧重点来陈述，这里要特别强调的一点是，要侧重于团队合作的经历及自己组织协调方面的经历。总之，一个大的原则就是考生不能让考官感觉是个人能力很强，但团队合作不行，在集体协作的情况下能力不突出。作为行政机关来说，真正需要的公务员，应该是素质过硬、纪律性协作性很强。通俗地说，就是自己素质不错，在集体中能发挥更大效用。这里要突出强调的一点是，不要谈跳槽，不要谈以前自己怀才不遇，不要谈自己过去领导和同事的不足或缺点，不要谈过去的工作薪水不高。要告诉考官，过去的经历是美好的，给自己的发展和能力的提高有很大的帮助。
