完形填空是高考英语中分值较大的综合性题型，在江苏高考英语试卷中占20分。这种题型既考查学生的词法、句法、语法、固定搭配，同时还考查学生对短文的理解能力，即能否根据上下文线索进行通篇考虑，而后做出正确判断。因此，完形填空是一种综合考查学生语言能力的较难题型。

纵观近几年江苏高考的完形填空可以看出有这样几个特征：

1、文章选材基本上都是围绕励志主题，主要涉及价值观和情感态度。如07年谈的是一铺路公司挑战自己的想象力和创造性，终于如期完成了铺路任务；08年讲的是英国一聋人打击乐器独奏演员的成功的奋斗历程。

2、突出考查实词，名词、动词、形容词和副词是考查的重点。07年名词5个、动词5个、形容词和副词6个；08年名词6个、动词10个、形容词和副词2个。

3、文章夹叙夹议，叙事线索清晰，突出语篇领悟。此类题目要求考生紧扣中心思想，联系上下文，结合语境，进行逻辑推理，着重考查学生对文章的理解能力。

4、考查词义辨析。比重最大，考查词义的准确识别，同义词的辨析，短语搭配及惯用法。

因此，要想得高分除了必备的基础知识之外，掌握解题方法也十分重要。下面以08年的高考完形填空为例，谈谈解题技巧。

1、快读全文，整体理解全文大意

跳过空格，快速阅读整篇文章，了解全文大意。考生要认真理解重点句子的意思，了解文章背景，理清文章内容线索。在快速阅读过程中，不要急于动笔选答案，要一口气读到底。遇到不懂的地方跳过去，继续往下读，以求纵观上下文，获得对文章内容的整体理解，从而确定解题的基本思路，切忌看一空选一题。通读08年江苏高考完形填空可以看出文章是原版材料改编，特别重视上下文逻辑推理能力。主要告诉读者英国著名聋女打击乐手Evelyn Glennie成功的故事，体现励志主题。因此做题时要紧紧围绕这一主题。

2、瞻前顾后，细读短文，通篇考虑，选择答案

在通读全文，了解短文大意的基础上，联系上下文，运用逻辑思维进行比较、判断，选出既符合词义、句义，又上下文连贯，合乎情理的准确答案。往往有这种情况，一处空白，从单句来说，四个选项都符合该句的句型结构和语法要求，这就要求考生联系上下文，按着文章线索，找出文章中与选项有关的信息词，选出符合上下文语境需要的最佳选项。上下文的内容联系和逻辑关系是做好完形填空的关键。

08年江苏高考完形填空文章的选项非常巧妙，除了要求对语境要有充分的把握之外，对词汇的比较也有很细致的要求。如第41题，考查名词purpose、decision、promise、goal在语境中的辨析。46题较难，一定要理解Glennie这时实际上还没有成名，所以不可能有dissatisfied(不满意的)、astonished(惊讶的)、discouraged(气馁的)这些感觉。

3、避开疑点，先易后难

在做题时，应从易到难，先选出确定的、直接的、明确的答案。如遇到少数确实不会的题，切忌徘徊不前，这会严重影响大体速度。可以先跳过去继续往下做，很可能从下文中找到此题的有关暗示或信息。如第38题，从下文可知Glennie听觉(hearing)逐渐失去，直到12岁时完全失聪(completely deaf)。

4、从句子分析和语篇分析两方面着手

对句子分析可解决大部分问题，主要是从固定搭配、词语辨析、语法要求等角度分析，这要求学生应有扎实的语法和词汇基础及良好的语感。语篇分析是对于和整个语篇或上下文相关的问题而言。从局部或句子的角度看多个答案都可选，但是从全文角度看却只能选一个。这种题就要求在整体把握的基础上对句子内部成份进行分析。如第46题，Glennie下定决心(be determined to do)要被别人评价为一名音乐家，而不是一名聋人音乐家。A

(dissatisfied不满意的)、B(astonished惊讶的)、D(discouraged气馁的)都是Glennie对别人评价的反应，而Glennie这时实际上还没有成名，所以不可能有这些感觉。

5、切忌钻牛角尖，用正常的思维去考虑，不要把问题搞得太复杂。

6、选项填完后，一定要再读全文，从整体上检查结构、语义及逻辑是否和谐一致、前后照应，上下文衔接。

那么在这最后的十几天里如何备考完形填空这一题型呢？

在最后的复习中，我们可以把做过的优秀高考完形填空拿出来看，体会出题者的一些用意，如果时间允许，适当选各省市近年的高考完形，作为热身练习。考前强化会帮助我们体会策略，增强语感，增添信心。具体地要做到以下几点：

1、注意词组、习语和句型的积累、同义词的辨析。

2、“瞻前顾后”，寻找“支点”。

3、培养做完形填空试题时不依赖选项的习惯，完全按对文章的理解进行逻辑推理的判断，提高篇章意识，整体感知，突出语篇。

4、坚持阅读，培养语感，拓宽知识面。见多识广，方能应万变，方能“居高临下”的审视和解决问题。

摘要：水族地区学生，由于受到语言过度的影响，学好一门外语想当困难，很少学生能够学好英语，在解题的过程中，大部分学生都是猜题而不是根据知识解题，少部分学生能够根据所学知识认真解题，在这一部分学生中，基本上所有的学生对完形填空都是望而却步，本人在教学过程中，积累了一些做完型填空题的方法，与大家共享.关键词：水族地区语言过度完形填空联系上下文选词法尝试填入法.在水族地区从事英语教学多年，深知在教学中由于存在的现实问题：水族学生必须由英语----汉语----母语（水语），然后再进行理解，这是一个相当漫长的过程。又由于师资的缺乏，学生基本上不能从小学一年级开始，或者从幼儿园开始学习英语，一般初中开始学习，这样学生形成英语语感的时间起步较晚，或者说直接是学习知识，应付考试，而不是为了学习语言进行交流的目的，所以从整体讲：水族地区学生的整体英语水平是离开学校就一无所知了。既然学了没有用，学生也懒学，老师竭尽全力教了，也不见多大的成效，甚至是徒劳.在教学中学生在做题时，一些同学看见试卷就乱写上A、B、C…..就交卷。但是有相当的一部分同学竭尽全力去做题，但又由于缺乏方法，基本上是费力不见成绩，特别是完形填空.当然完形填空是高考必考的，大家都知道，但是由于对完形填空产生恐惧心理，导致看见完型就放。接下来我们来探讨一下完形填空的解法.完形填空的特点是所有英语题型的综合，填上答案就成了阅读理解，把他拆开就成了单项选择，如果把错误答案填上去它就是一篇改错短文，事实上它还是一篇很美的作文。因此完形填空主要测验学生的语言综合运用能力，包括基础知识的掌握和运用、对整个文章逻辑联系的理解、在情景中辨析词义的能力以及词组短语搭配的使用能力。虽然完型填空具有很强的综合性。是高中生的一大英语难题。但还是具有一定方法可循.一、联系上下文选词法

解第一题：从第一段最后一句It wasn’t until they had grown quite gray that their luckfinally changed.说明他们在海上不是一天两天，一月两月的事儿，所以选D

解第二题：从文章的最后一段As for Jack,he stayed abroad and lived the life of a true pirate dog to the end of his days.我们知道选D.从这两题我们可知联系上下文是多么的重要。要联系上下文就必须要先通读全文，掌握大意.注意关键词、中心词、划出代表人物或某些情节的词让文章的思路活跃起来，把握至关重要的环节，是做好完形填空题最重要的一环。切记一空一空的读，一空一空的填，边读、边填，速度慢，准确率低。

二、尝试填入法.也就是将备选答案逐一填入空白处排除明显不符合题意的答案，从而缩小选择的范围.然后寻找与空白处构成搭配的词语，从而排除不能与之搭配的选项。

解第三题：我们把备选答案的 robbed和 damaged 尝试着填入空白处，很显然是不对的，如果已经被robbed（抢）或者被（damaged）毁掉，就不可能有后文的Bragwynn’boat was brokeninto pieces bythe great ship..很显然不符合题意.在剩下的spotted和stopped中，明显stopped 与后面的“STOP”重复了.这样答案就非常明显了.“尝试填入法”在英语完型填空的解题方法中是非常普遍的，而且是很有效的。

三、语境填词法

也就是根据周围语言环境，考虑符合语境的选项.rescuedthem..Instead of Bragwynnlet loose with a frightening yell.“listen”I’m Old Bragwynn the Pirate.Bring me your capitain so that he may surrender, else you’ll beAs he spoke，4、A、.InterestingB、FortunatelyC、HopefullyD、Obviously5、A、wishesB、ideasC、thanksD、opinions6、A、killedB、challengedC、discoveredD、checked7、A、handed outB、setupC、tookoutD、cut off解第4、5、6、7题：Bragwynn and his dogwereseen andrescued ,so they wereFortunately。因此4题应该选B.Bragwynn 被救应该表达感谢，但他没有，而是叫船上的人投降，5题应该选C.如果别人不投降，他就要杀别人，他一边说，一边拿出小木棒，让船上的人认为是剑。因此6题应该选A，7题应该选C.事实上，语境填词，也是上下文关系的问题，只是局部的语句可以做题，范围比较小而已.四、固定搭配选词法.也就是根据一些固定的句式，固定的短语来进行选词。

解第8题： makeone’swayto前往…..地方，这是固定搭配..因此选B

解第9题：备选答案中四个皆为名词。语境提供的含义是：“我家当时离Ismail’s.很近.而固定搭配 astone’ sthrow 的意思是“近在咫尺”.这种类型的题目必须要求学生要有相当深厚的知识功底。要加强记忆。

五、句际关系选词法

根据句与句之间的逻辑关系来从备选答案案中选出符合逻辑关系的连接词.（2012 新课标全国卷）Indeed，whatiscalled body language is so much a part of us

解第41题：前面说误会由此产生，后文又是举了实例，所以这里承上启下，应该用A

解第42题：与前一句对比，再看下文，可知拉丁美洲的人恰恰相反，用on the other hand 做此类题目时，要注意句子和句子之间的衔接，可应用不同的连接词连接相同的两个句子，观察其产生的意义有何不同。在平时的阅读中也可以发现句子和句子或段落和段落之间的连接词，并适时对连接词进行总结和归类。例如：

表示并列的有：and, too, what’s more, in addition, as well as等；

表示因果的有：beacause, since, so that, therefore, as a result等；

表示转折或对比的有：while, however, on one hand…on the other hand等；

表示总结的有： all in all, in a word, in conclusion等。

明白了句子与句子之间的关系，就能更快地理解文章的主旨，也能从细节中更有把握地推断出一些有用的信息。

六、近义选词法

英语中为强调某一意思，但又不想重复使用某个词或短语，常用近义词来表达。在完形填空题中，近义词或短语的位臵多半比较靠近，很容易找到，所以近义选词法是很好的解题技巧。无须过多的推理，只需确定是哪里使用了近义词，然后从选项中找出与之相符合的一项即可。

《高中学习丛书英语高一（Book1,2）》第82页的完形填空最后一段：

I was worried and I sank in my thoughts.I didn’t even ___13__ that the coffee was bad, __14_ Steven didn’t notice there was a person next to him.13、A.pretendB.understandC.insistD.realize14、A.as ifB.just asC.just afterD.even though

第13题的正确选项为B.just as。由此可知第14题的正确选项应与由“just as”引导的从句中的谓语动词“notice”同义，故选D.realize。

要提高学生完形填空的解题水平，除了上面介绍的方法技巧外，要有计划、按步骤，由简到难、由短到长地进行有针对性的专项训练，材料要精选，解题要限时，体裁要多样，做后要分析，运用正确的解题方法与技巧，只要学生持之以恒，解答完形填空的水平就能得到提高。

结语

总之，在少数名族地区，由于受到语言过度的影响，学生的英语技能跟不上教学的需要，听、说、读、写四种基本技能的训练显得尤为重要，其中“读”在高考中占据相当重要的地位，但由于学生基础的欠缺，懒“读”、怕“读”、甚至恐惧“读”，可想而知成绩肯定是不理想的。我们无法想象一位词汇贫乏，语法不通，句子结构不清的学生能在完形填空题中得高分。因此我们必须要从最基本的词汇抓起，夯实基础，扎实抓好词汇、语法、句子、篇章。无论是哪种形式的阅读技能检测，只有在平时的课堂教学中扎实学生的语言基础，才使学生的综合解题能力得到提高。也能使学生能够运用好一门外语。
