2、活动简介：
英语作为一个大学生必备的素质之一，其重要性是不言而喻的。为了提高同学们的英语口语水平，营造学习英语、应用英语的良好氛围，拓展大家的综合素质，丰富大家的文化底蕴，促进学院的学风建设，同时也给广大科院学子提供一个展示自我风采的平台和提高英语表达能力的机会，电气与信息工程学院英语风口语协会特举办2011年度“希望之星”英文演讲大赛。
3、活动目的：
1）加深同学对英语口语重要性的认识。
2）提高同学学习英语的积极性，特别是提高同学对英语口语训练的积极性。
3）丰富大学生的课余生活。
4）为大学生提供一个学习英语和英语口语交流的平台并且积累同
学参加大赛的经验。

一、活动前准备工作：
1、项目组成员负责整个活动流程的策划及教室申请。
2、宣传人员负责前期的海报张贴及自习室宣传工作。
3、部分学生负责邀请外教及活动嘉宾。
4、外联部成员负责拉赞助与赞助商协商部分事宜。
5、活动准备人员负责活动中PPT的制作及教室的布置，并负责采购活动中的所需物品。
二、比赛流程

Hi everyone.I’m Julia.Today I want to talk about an original word——personality.Last year, people created many new words, like gelivable and jiong.These words are sometimes strange, but they’re also funny.They are used by many TV shows and newspapers.There is a word that I am interested in——personality.People translate it into 人品.It is so popular to say this word.For example, if you ask your mother for fifty Yuan as pocket money;but she gives you a hundred Yuan, then you might say“See, I have a good personality!”But do you know what the meaning of personality is?

技巧：

4、适当地发挥想象，善于运用肢体语言和周围存在的具体事物；
5、不慌张，不急躁。注意事项：每组参赛选手均有10个单词或短语，参赛选手猜对5个单词或短语即可得满分；此环节只有1.5分钟时间，若比划过程中遇到难度较大的单词或短语，选手可以选择跳过，继续下一个单词或短语向对方做动作，争取在规定时间内取得最好成绩。4)高中e组、大学成人f组：即兴辩论（2分钟）
比赛规则:两人一组，一对一进行辩论，提前1分钟进入考场准备，分组并随机抽取对手及辩题
（辩题范围涉及到网络、道德、教育、运动、健康、娱乐等）。1分钟后开始辩论，阐
述自己的观点，每个辩手有1分钟时间。

选手准备一个20秒英文个性自我介绍和一个40秒英语才艺展示。自我介绍要求语音零错误，自信，流畅，自然。开场一定要在最短的时间内抓住观众的眼球，吸引他们所有的注意力，给人留下深刻的印象。才艺展示要求选手有创意、有新意，在服装和道具上有创新，可以借助非电子类的乐器，如ktv手摇铃，快板，塤等，以能更好展示自己的英语能力为准。★ 第二环节：定题演讲(60秒)选手从以下两个主题中任意选择一个，准备一个时长不超过60秒的定题演讲，题目自拟。

主题二：《冠军金兰》之《冠军的梦想》
★第三环节：即兴交流（60秒）
选手从指定的题目中随机抽选任意2个题目，回答评委老师提问。时间不超过60秒。
