Scrooge: What are you doing there, Bob?

Bob: I'm warming my hands, Mr.Scrooge.It's so cold here.Scrooge: Am I paying you 15 shillings a week for warming your hands?

Bob: I'm freezing, Mr.Scrooge.Frost stands on the windows.My hands are too cold to write.I

can't even read my own handwriting.Scrooge: Too cold to write? Humbug!If you were working harder, you wouldn't be cold.Just put

on your overcoat.If I hear another word from you, you will go where it is really cold.Bob: Excuse me, Mr.Scrooge, eh...tomorrow it's Christmas.Scrooge: So what? You'll want all day off tomorrow, I suppose?

Bob: If quite convenient, sir.Scrooge: It's not convenient, and it's not fair.I have to pay you a whole day's wages for no work

at all.Bob: It's only Christmas once a year, Mr.Scrooge.Scrooge: That's a poor excuse for picking a man's pocket every twenty-fifth of December!（朝着另外一个人）Now, who's here? It's my nephew Fred.场景二

Fred: A Merry Christmas, Uncle!(朝着Bob)God save you!

Scrooge: Bah!Humbug!

Fred: Christmas a humbug, Uncle? You don't mean that.Scrooge: I do.Why do you call it ‘merry’ Christmas？You're poor enough.Fred: What right have you to be so dismal? You’re rich enough.Scrooge: Bah!Humbug!

Fred: Don’t be cross, Uncle.Scrooge: What else can I be when I live in such a world of fools as this? Merry Christmas? A time

for finding yourself a year older and not a dollar richer.Fred:(大声地)Uncle!

Scrooge:（打断Fred）Nephew, Keep Christmas in your own way and let me keep it in mine.Fred: Keep it? But you don’t keep it!Uncle！Please don't say that！I've always thought of

Christmas as a time to be helpful and kind to other People．It's the only time of the year when men and women open their hearts freely to each other．And so，uncle，although I've never made any money from it，I think Christmas has been and will be a good time for me！And I say，God bless Christmas!

(Bob 鼓掌)

Scrooge:（指着Bob，Bob停止鼓掌，继续工作）Stop that foolish clapping!Let me hear another

sound from you, and you'll celebrate Christmas by losing your position!（朝着侄儿）You’re quite a powerful speaker,sir.A wonder on don’t go into Parliament.Fred: Don’t be cross, Uncle.Come, dine with us tomorrow.Scrooge: I’ll see you in hell first.Good afternoon!

Fred: Uncle!Well ,we will waiting for you tomorrow!

Scrooge: Good afternoon！!（朝着Gentleman）Who are you?

Fred:（朝着Bob）A Merry Christmas.(下台)

（A gentleman comes in.）

Gentleman：Have I the pleasure of addressing Mr.Scrooge or Mr.Marley?

Scrooge: Mr.Marley has been dead these seven years,(小有停顿)this very night.Gentleman：At this festive season of the year, Mr.Scrooge, it is more than usually desirable that

we should make some slight provision for the poor and the destitute.Many

thousand s are in want of common comfort, sir.Scrooge: Are there no prisons?

Gentleman：Prisons?Yes, yes, plenty of prisons.Scrooge: And the union workhouses are they still in operation?

Gentleman：They are.I wish I could say they were not.Scrooge: Good.Then what do you want to do?

Gentleman：This festive season, a few of us are endeavoring to raise a fund to buy the poor some

meat and drink and means of warmth.What shall we put you down for?

Scrooge: Nothing！I don't have a merry Christmas myself，and I won't pay for other people to be

merry．We all have to pay for prisons and workhouses—they cost enough．The poor will have to go there

Gentleman：Many can't go there，and many prefer to die.Scrooge: If they prefer to die，why don't they die，then？There are too many people in the world！（Bob同情地看着Gentleman）

Gentleman：（双手摊开，朝着Bob，很悲伤地）A Merry Christmas！（下台）

场景一

(In Scrooge’s house)

Scrooge:(一个人在房间里踱步，恶狠狠地)Merry Christmas? Humbug!

（突然一阵铃铛响，Scrooge恐慌的看着周围）What ‘s the matter?

（突然一阵锁链的声音，马丁的鬼魂上场）

Scrooge:（with great surprise and fear）who and what are you?（中间有个小停顿）What do you

want?

Marley：(轻飘飘的声音，有气无力地)In life I was your partner，Jacob Marley．

Scrooge:(假装镇定，大声地)It's humbug，I tell you！

突然一阵更恐怖的声音响起，Marley张牙舞爪，Scrooge被吓得瑟瑟发抖

Marley：The spirit of every man who does not help other people in life has to travel endlessly

through the world after his death．We have to carry the chains that we made for ourselves in our lifetime．Do you，Ebenezer Scrooge，recognize my chain？It is very like the one that you wear！

Scrooge: Why？Tell me why do you come here?

Marley：I am here for your own good.I am here to help you change your life！Follow me!Now I

will take you to your past.（音效;飞走的声音）

场景二

一大群人在狂欢庆祝圣诞节, 年轻的Scrooge一个人在一边忧伤地徘徊，羡慕地看着他们 Scrooge:（很茫然地）Where am I?（四处看看，指着年轻时候的自己）Oh，it was me when I

was young.Oh, I remembered, it was Christmas day,(忧伤地)but I was alone.Young Scrooge:（悲伤地喃喃自语）Scrooge，a merry Christmas!

Fan: Dear，dear brother!I’ve come to bring you home!

Young Scrooge: Home, little Fan? But, Dad……

Fan: Yes, home!Father is so much kinder than he used to be.He spoke so gently to me one night.I was not afraid to ask him if you might come home.Young Scrooge: Then what he said?

Fan: He said yes.And he sent me in a coach to fetch you.And we’re to be together all the

Christmas long.And to have the merriest time in all the world!

Young Scrooge: You’re quite a woman, little Fan.Scrooge:（哭泣状）She had a large heart.Marley：But she died a woman,.Scrooge: How I desired for Christmas.Poor boy！(停顿一会儿)I wish—but it's too late now.(摇

摇头，叹息)There was a boy singing Christmas carols at my door yesterday．I'm sorry I didn't give him anything.（抓住Marley）I can't watch any more！It's too awful！

Marley：OK.I will show you the other Christmas.(音效：飞走)

Scrooge: It’s Bob’s house.(羡慕地)What a happy family!

Daughter：（指着布丁）Mom, I want the pudding any more.It tastes wonderful.Wife: Oh，my honey, you can eat more next year.Bob: It's your greatest success in all the years that we've been married，my dear！

Wife:（幸福地）Well，I did wonder how much fruit to put in it.But, yes,it's a good one.The next

year, I will make a bigger one.Bob：（作举杯状）A merry Christmas to us all，my dears！God bless us！Let's drink to Mr

Scrooge, whose money has paid for this meal..Daughter: Oh,no.Wife:(angrily)His money！What can we buy with his fifteen shillings a week？ Why should we

drink to the health of a hateful，hard，unfeeling，mean old man like Scrooge?

Daughter:(不悦地)He is a bad man.Bob：My dear, remember it's Christmas.Wife:（举杯）Well，Bob，I'll drink to his health only because of you and because it's

Christmas．Long life to Mr.Scrooge！A merry Christmas and a happy new year to him！He'll be very merry and very happy，I'm sure！

Daughter：（不情愿地，举杯）A merry Christmas.God bless us every one！

Marley：(看着那一家三口)In your nephew’s house , they pray for you as well.Scrooge:（忏悔状）I know.Marley：There isno more time.Then I’ll show you the shadows of the things which haven't

happened yet，but will happen in the future.I hope it can help you to change your

life.Scrooge: But……

（飞走）

第四场未来

Scrooge(上台，东张西望): Marley!

(Tow women are coming)

Woman A:Well！The old man has died at last.How poor，to die with no friends or family

around him！To lie in an empty room，with no candles or flowers！But who cares.Oh,What's he done with his money？

Woman B:I haven't heard，He hasn't left it to me，that's all I know．

（WB拿起胸前戴的项链）

Woman B:Beautiful, isnt’tit? I don't care if everybody knows where this comes from！

We all have to take care of ourselves！He always did！

Woman A: Exactly true.Woman B: Does a dead man need these things？ And why was he so mean when he was alive？

We all worked for him，didn't we？ Cleaned his house，washed his clothes，cooked his soup？ And what did we get？Three shillings a week！It's no surprise that he died alone，with no friends around him！

Woman A:You never spoke a truer word.He was a bad man，we all know that.Look at this

shirt, it was his best.They put it on him after he died．But he doesn't need it now that he's dead！

Woman B:You took the shirt off a dead body, while he was lying there！Well, well, he will

crawl out from the grave.Woman A: He frightened everyone away when he was alive，and only to profit us now that he's

dead！Hahaha…

（两个女人大笑着下场）

Scrooge: The man they are talking about is me ,right? No，Marley！Oh，no，no！(悲伤中，一会后)Marley，I will be good to other people , keep Christmas in my heart and try to be kind, and cheerful，and merry，every day.Marley，my friend, tell me that my future will change，if I change my life now！

Marley:Just do you want to.Every thing will be better.第五场End

（In Scrooge’ house）

Scrooge：（wake up suddenly，look around）still here? I’m still here.(大笑).(欢快地大喊)I’m still

here!I don’t’t know what to do.I’ve heard that laugh before.I will remember the past，and think of the future，(jumped out of bed)God bless you，Jacob Marley！And God bless Christmas！(towards to students)I don't know what I'm doing！A merry Christmas to everybody！A happy new year to all the world！

（绅士从一边经过上台）

Scrooge：(转头看见，激动地握住绅士双手)My dear sir，how do you do？I hope you succeeded

yesterday.A merry Christmas to you,sir！

Gentleman：Mr.Scrooge？

Scrooge：Yes，that's my name,and I fear it may not be pleasant to you.But allow me to ask your

pardon..And willyou hauv the goodness……（悄悄话）

Gentleman：(大喜)Lord bless me!My dear Mr.Scrooge, are you serious?

Scrooge：And not a farthing less.Will you come and see me tomorrow about it？

Gentleman：（cried happily）I will！I don’t know what to say to such……

Scrooge：Thank you，and God bless you！Now I must go to my nephew's house.Good bye;Gentleman：A merry Christmas！Good bye（依依不舍，下台）

(Scrooge 往前走两步，敲门)

Fred：（开门，惊喜状）Uncle???(手中拿的杯子掉了)

Scrooge：I've(小停顿)…….come to dinner．Will you let me stay，Fred？

Fred：Of course, Uncle!Welcome!Welcome!Merry Christmas..Loot at our table.Turkey,……so much food.We will have a wonderful dinner.(Bob上台，敲门)

Fred：Uncle，please wait for a minute.Let me see who it is.(开门)(朝着叔叔)Oh，it’s Bob.(朝

着Bob)

Bob: Merry Christmas!

Fred: Merry Christmas!Come in, please!

Bob:(看着Scrooge，很局促)I……I don’t know you would be here.I just, just……

Scrooge：（上前，拥抱Bob）A merry Christmas，Bob！A merrier Christmas，Bob，than I've

given you for a long time．I'm going to pay you well.Now let’s have dinner together in the special day.(朝着同学们)God bless us，every one！

圣诞欢歌

今天是圣诞节，我们在小桔灯作文班庆祝了圣诞节，你猜我们玩了什么？哈哈！我们玩了“抢凳子游戏”可有趣了！

你看！第一轮游戏马上开始了。老师选了5个人，4把凳子，分别放好之后——游戏终于开始了！只看他们围着四把凳子转圈走，走呀走呀，只听老师一声令下“停！”他们便以迅雷不及掩耳之势的坐下，可是，有两个同学坐在了一把椅子上，没办法，晚坐下的那个同学就拜拜喽！于是我们的“绣花小王子”只好下去了，只见他脸上仍然带着微笑，可能为了掩饰他内心的伤感吧！

接着，老师又拿走了一把椅子，第二轮比赛开始了这次，他

们有了计划，各个眼睛上都全神贯注，等待又一次花开，终于老师大喊“停”，于是我们班的“小耗子”“坐”心未遂，下去了，他为了发泄内心的不服，就那“小丫头”来撒气，不过**马上平息了„„

第二轮开始了，小于子不幸“战死沙场”，以失败告终了，他也是面带笑容，这样看来，我们班的男孩子可都十分乐观呀！

最后一轮的总决赛开始了，是小个儿队长VS斯文王子，这下

有好戏看了。只见下面的观众个个手舞足蹈，呐喊助威，有的为小个儿队长加油，有的为王子助威，更有甚者为他们漏油。随着老师一声“开始”，游戏进入了白热化的阶段，“俗话说一山容不得二虎”两人抢一个凳子，会怎么样呢？“停！”正当我在想这个问题的时候，我们班的小个儿队长下去了，最终的胜利是属于——斯文王子！

这堂课真是太快乐了！让我一生也无法忘记，于是，我在这里就把它记录下来。

I guess you can say that A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens has been a

success.It was published in 1843 and has never been out of print since then.It’s

spawned all manner of plays, films, adaptations, and spoofs.It’s been adapted at least twice by Disney, once featuring Mickey Mouse and another time featuring Jim Carey.We’re almost inundated with the story — I’m not sure how many ways I’ve seen it.Yet I had never read the original story by Dickens until just now.On Christmas Eve in Victorian England, Ebenezer Scrooge, a bitter and miserly old moneylender, holds everything that embodies the joys and spirit of Christmas in contempt, refusing to visit his cheerful nephew Fred's Christmas dinner party with his family, and forcing his underpaid employee Bob Cratchit to beg to take the day off for his own family.That night, Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his former business partner, Jacob Marley, who had died seven years prior on Christmas Eve and is now forced to spend his afterlife carrying heavy chains forged from his own greedy ways.Marley warns Scrooge that he will suffer an even worse fate if he doesn't repent, and foretells that he will be haunted by three spirits that will help guide him.The first spirit, the Ghost of Christmas Past, shows Scrooge visions of his own past that take place on or around the Christmas season, reminding him of how he ended up the greedy man he is now.He had spent much of his childhood neglected by his father over the holidays at boarding school until he was finally brought home by his loving sister Fan, who died prematurely after giving birth to his nephew Fred.Scrooge later began a successful career in business and moneylending and became engaged to a woman named Belle, though she later called off the engagement when he began to grow obsessed with accumulating his own wealth.Unable to bear having to witness these events again, Scrooge extinguishes the spirit.The second spirit, the Ghost of Christmas Present, shows Scrooge the happiness of his fellow men on Christmas day.Among them are his nephew Fred, who playfully makes jokes with his family at Scrooge's expense, and Bob Cratchit and his family, who are just barely able to make do with what little pay Scrooge gives Cratchit.The Cratchits also tend to a sickly young son, Tiny Tim, whose commitment to the spirit of Christmas touches Scrooge, who is dismayed to learn from the spirit that he may not have much longer to live.Before the spirit vanishes, it warns Scrooge about the evils of Ignorance and Want, showing them as terrifying, uncivilized children doomed to grow into savage, despicable individuals.The third and final spirit, the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come, shows Scrooge the final consequences of his greed.Tiny Tim has died, leaving the Cratchits to mourn him on Christmas.Scrooge has also died, though there is more comfort than grief in the wake of his funeral.In addition, Fred finds benefit from inheriting his wealth, and

Scrooge is even robbed by his former maid.Unwilling to let this grim future come to pass, Scrooge begs to be given a second chance as the spirit forces him into his deep and empty grave leading all the way to Hell.Scrooge awakens to find himself in his bed on Christmas morning, the three spirits having guided him over the course of one night, and immediately sets out to atone for his sins, making donations to the poor, attending Fred's dinner party, and giving Cratchit a raise to care for his family, allowing Tiny Tim to live.Scrooge spends the remainder of his life a new man embodying the spirit of Christmas itself.And I must say, what a treat it was.Despite knowing the plot in advance, it was a very good read.Well, count me among those many inspired and reminded by Dickens to be a more empathetic person, to remember how good even many of the poor in the West have it compared to other parts of the world, and to try to do more for others.And that, perhaps, is part of the genius of Dickens.He inspired a complete

change of how people looked at Christmas in his time.And his work is no less relevant today;perhaps it hits even closer to home these days.He invites us to

carefully consider the question: what does it mean to achieve success in life? And he deftly illustrates that “wealth” is wrong answer.Here’s hoping that many others will also learn a small bit about life from Dickens.Ilike what Scrooge’nephewsaid, “I have always thought of Christ mas as a time to be helpful and kind to other people.It is the only time of the year when men and women open their hearts freely to each other.And so, althought I have never made any money from it, I think Christmas has been and will be a good time for me!And I said ,God bless Christmas!”

From he, I know Although money is very important, to live in this world money is totally unacceptable and if the money can live a life on, let the world, more people happy, they should spend the money to, because it values.Fortunately, Scrooge wake up later, the others will be happy to know the truth themselves happy to help a

disabled child, for their family and their assistants together after a happy Christmas!Nowadays，The spirit of giving and sharing is at its peak during the Christmas season.People are so generous to dole out gifts, money and other things to people they care about, and at times to charity, too.This innate feeling in us is always there.It's not only for special seasons like the holidays that we should be able to give and share whatever we have in abundance.It must likely be the instinctive feeling in us that we should be willing to share and give something all year round especially to those who are in need.Hopefully, everybody would give a little help.The spirit of sharing and giving doesn't mean that you are spoiling these people thru charity.It's not that;it's just that these people may feel helpless at times, hopeless most of the time and this is where

we can come in, that we can show them that we care, we can give them hope and

something to live for in their life.It is our way of showing them that their life is worth caring for so that they should be inspired to do better in their life.Thankfully, there is always the goodness in all of us;all we have to do is make use of it this Christmas and through out the years to come.I'm thankful to Charles Dickens.He told me that what important in our world is happiness and do ourbest to help each other.PS: Charles Dickens was a great writer in the 19th century．He was born in 1812．When he was a child，his father was heavily in debt．The only education he received was two years of schoolingat a school for poor children．At the age of 12he had to work first as a worker and then became a reporter for a newspaper．In 1837，his novel，The Pickwick Papers，made him the most famous of his time in England．He died in 1870．

第一次接触《圣诞欢歌》是看它的英文版，看书名完全想象不到故事的情节，本以为就是一本普通的书，但是没想到读完后却让我的内心产生如此大的震动。

圣诞欢歌是一部非 常短小但又极具影响力的小说，它的出现使当时的人们对它爱不释手，它也是狄更斯自己极为推荐的一部经典之作。故事讲的是一位本性善良，但因为受环境影响，变得非常小小气、吝啬、刻薄的商人，他在平安夜被三个精灵分别带到了自己过去、现在和未来的生活场景，看到了未来的自己，并因此彻底醒悟，领会到生活的意义，决心改过自新。

这本书表面上是在讲述一个有趣的神话故事，实际当中蕴藏着许多耐人寻味的哲理，其中，让我感触最深的一点就是对一个人来说真正的幸福快乐不是金钱带来的，相反，有时候对钱过度的追求，反而是一切祸害的根源。我认为快乐不是拥有了多少金钱，获得了多大的权力，快乐不能以物质和财富来衡量，优越的生活不一定是快乐的全部，更重要的是精神生活的充实。

人生在世，总会有许许多多的期盼、梦想，然而，其中有许多不会成为令人陶醉的现实。这时我们就应该淡泊地对待自己梦寐以求而终未得到的东西，更好地珍惜自己所拥有的，只有这样，你才会发现在自己的生活中，多了一份人生的快乐，少了一些心灵的重负。就像在我们的现实生活中，为了能够拥有更好的物质生活而把自己变成物质生活的奴隶，在不停的奔波的过程中，人们似乎忘记了这样做的最初的目的，人之所以追求这些物质上的东西不就是为了能让自己生活变得更快乐更有意义吗？,在我看来，物质和钱财真的仅仅是一个不可或缺的小部分，只要它能让你有一个稳定的生活就够了，没必要强求这么多，只要快乐幸福那才是最重要的原来得到幸福快乐并不是很难，只要你善于去发现。人不能永远活在梦中，上帝不会因为你的人生留有遗憾，而给你重新来过的机会，所以，在我们活着的每一分一秒中，都要认真的做好每一件事，不要辜负自己的初心。

在我眼中，《圣诞欢歌》终究是一个带有积极意义的故事，尽管故事中有着太多的悲剧与不幸，但是，故事本身是好的，老商人最终认清了自己的本心，又回到了曾经快乐的生活。()我们的生活中不会存在精灵带我们去审视过去，反省现在，探索未来，只有自己保持一颗纯真的心，明白自己到底想要什么，并且勇敢的去追寻自己的快乐，才是真正有价值的人生。

暑假期间，我读了一本短篇小说《圣诞欢歌》。它的作者是英国著名作家查尔斯。狄更斯。他的作品还有《羊脂球》、《雾都孤儿》、《双城记》等。

本书主人公艾比尼泽。斯克罗吉是一位脾气暴躁、可怜、吝啬的老头儿。当他外甥在圣诞前夜去看望他并祝他圣诞快乐时，斯克罗吉一点儿也不高兴。“呸！骗人的东西！” 他说。“圣诞节都是骗人的东西！所有到处游逛说圣诞快乐的人的舌头都应该被割掉。是的，他会的！”

但是那年的圣诞前夜，斯克罗吉已故多年的合伙人雅各布。马利的鬼魂拜访了他，其后又有另外三个鬼魂来访„„那一夜格外漫长和恐怖。当圣诞节最终来临的时候，斯克罗吉的确已经判若两人了。他主动去外甥家祝圣诞快乐，对每个人微笑，向穷人捐款，给下属加工资„„是什么让斯克罗吉变化的？那是因为那夜他所遇到的圣诞幽灵给了他一些告诫，并让他看到了他如果继续吝啬下去的悲惨下场。

读了这本书，我感受到做人不能太小气，也不能没有同情心。如果你大方的帮助了别人，别人快乐了，你也会跟着高兴起来。而且也会有很多的朋友，大家都会喜欢你的。以后我会尽可能多的帮助别人。自己有困难的时候，别人也会帮助你的。

我喜欢这本书还有一个原因，那就是作者借幽灵之手来凸显主人公斯克罗吉从刻薄、吝啬的华丽蜕变，变成了一个大方、乐于助人的人。

虽然这是一篇短篇小说，但我却从中体会到一个道理：如果自己想走的更远，那么就要多帮助别人。

这部小说我读了三遍，每读一遍都会觉得这不愧是一部经典之作。短小的篇幅，精彩的情节，简练的语言，诙谐的文字在这部小说中都体现得淋漓尽致。刚开始看到第一个小标题“马利的鬼魂”的时候，我还以为是比较惊悚的小说呢!读了才知道，原来小说分为文章的开头，三个幽灵的出现，故事的结束五个部分，而且情节根本不怕，反而你会从中发现很多有趣的地方。小说的主人公斯克鲁琪是一个很有意思的人物。他就是现实生活中一类人的缩影，尖酸，刻薄，唯利是图等一系列词都是这类人的代名词。除了省钱就是赚钱，斯克鲁琪的生活就不再有其他事情了，似乎在他看来除了只赚钱不花钱外，没有什么事比这件事更能令他快乐了。读到这些地方，我心里真的颤了一下，这样的人不与任何人微笑，从不曾用真心和他人交流，也从不接受人家的好意，总是觉得别人看重的只有他的钱，一心想从他这捞一笔。短时间内，他可以活在这种个人的精神世界里，但时间长了，难道他不会感到生活会黯然失色吗？我真的很佩服他，居然能为这样的生活方式乐此不疲。在狄更斯的描写中你可以看出他到底是有多可怕和可怜，“穷人没向他讨过钱，孩子没问过他时间，连狗见他来了都要多到门廊下”。这是多讽刺的事啊！最让人觉得可恶的是他居然能说出“世界上的人太多了，所以如果有些人死了的话这倒是件好事”这种话。这样的人要是在现代的社会的话，一定会成为众矢之的。到底是多没良知的人才能说出这样的话啊。在整部小说中我最喜欢的一句话也最具讽刺的性的就是“黑暗便宜的很，所以斯克鲁琪最喜欢它了”。写的真好，把他那种卑劣，鄙夷的天性展现的这么诙谐幽默。

开始时，斯克鲁琪对马利鬼魂的出现以及他对自己说的话根本不相信。直到他真的见到第一个幽灵后才开始相信并表现得害怕起来。前两个幽灵带他一同经历了他的少年，青年时代和现在的状态。从一个旁观者，回顾者的角度，斯克鲁琪看到过往的自己，看到自己曾经根本不是现在这个样子，看到已逝去的自己没把握住的幸福，他流下了伤心的眼泪。他想极力逃避，不去看这些场景，但是幽灵还是让他将过去的一幕幕丝毫不差的过了一遍。看到这，我们不难看出，其实斯克鲁琪的本性是好的，只不过是随着时间推移和社会的变迁，资本主义社会当时的社会现状使他变成了现在这种状态――守财奴。见完第二位幽灵之后，斯克鲁琪心里真的越来越感到恐惧，他知道接下来的这位幽灵将会带他看看未来的自己，他特别迫切的想得到这位幽灵的帮助，但是幽灵冷漠的态度让他感到害怕。

看了一系列场景之后再看到自己的坟墓，他的心凉了，他知道自己的未来就会是这样死的很惨，很悲凉，没有人关心他是怎么死的，都觉得他死的活该。他内心极具恐慌，他不断地求助于幽灵，并说他已经改过自新，一定会改变，对他人行善的。带着泪迹斑斑的脸和惶恐的心情，他回到了现实生活中，看到自己没有死，还仍在现实生活中时，他万般高兴，可以说胜过一个娃娃。他立即改变了他的生活状态，对人有善，救济穷人，善待朋友家人，不再那么看重钱。并且在圣诞的这一天做了很多令他人和自己都开心的好事，并且过了一个非常快活幸福的圣诞节。

看到这，很开心，因为小说是一个Happy ending。可以说斯克鲁琪是在马利以及三位幽灵的帮助下找回了人生的真谛和乐趣。我觉得这也是狄更斯的一个美好愿望，他的小说就是对当时社会现状的一个映射，他一直呵护着内心深处的美好愿望，他希望社会可以发展的更好，政府能更关心底层人命的生活，而不是一种黑暗压迫的状态。因为他小时候的那些艰苦心酸的生活经历，让他更能站在底层穷苦人民的角度去考虑问题，所以他的作品深受下层人民和孩童的喜爱。我想除了他内心的美好愿望之外，他也想通过这部小说传达给读者一个信息，那就是钱不能买到幸福和快乐，一个社会如果以牺牲人民的利益为代价，就算它的经济发展得再好，那样的上层建筑也是不会维持太久的。的确，看了这部小说之后，我深深觉得对一个人来说真正的幸福快乐不是钱带来的，相反，有时候对钱过度的追求，反而是一切祸害的根源。看看现实生活中，人们每天那么拼死拼活的为了什么呢？大多数人都在为房为车，为了能用拥有更好的物质生活而把自己变成物质生活的奴隶，在不停地奔波的过程中，人们似乎忘记了这样做的最初的目的，人之所以追求这些物质上的东西不就是为了能让自己生活得更快了更有意义吗？但是，现在看来，人们都在牺牲着自己的快乐和幸福，去换取那短暂的“伪快乐”，丢失了那些自己很正想要的东西。所以，在生活中，物质和钱财真的仅仅是一个不可或缺的小部分，只要它能让你有一个稳定的生活就够了，没必要强求这么多，只要快乐幸福那才是最重要的。
