This afternoon I went to play basketball with some of my good friends happily.

At the very beginning, I didn‘t want to go playing basketball though my friends invited me to. I was (had been) in a bad mood the whole afternoon because I didn‘t do well in the math exam. With their comfort and encouragement, I went with them. However, I was just one of the audience. I dare not have a try because I was afraid that I couldn‘t play well. Encouraged by my good friends, I picked up the basketball and played with them. And luckily I got scores. I felt very excited.

Now I have become cheerful and above all I‘ve regained self-confidence. I believe that the worst enemy in one‘s life is oneself. I shouldn‘t lose heart just because of one or two failures because I still have chances to try.

Many wild animals are facing the danger of extinction, because the environment that they are living in has changed greatly. For example, with the developmet of cities, the using of insecticide and serious pollution, their living areas have become narrowcr and narrower. Many of the wild animals, now are confronted with food crisis. At the same time, man is killing off species just for getting their fur, skin, horns, teeth and meat.

In order to protect our resources of ecology, people should realize that the loss of any species is at least the loss of source of knowledge and a source of natural beauty. There fore, measures of the following should be taken: pollution standards are made to keepdown poisons; killing off certain rare species is prohibited 初二; national parks should be set up as wild life, reserves.

Only if we human beings take some drastic measures can wild animals be preserved.

Today,the weather was rainy and it was an important day.Do you know what day was it today?It was Hong Kong return motherland for 13 years.Hong Kong was a good place to have fun.Many years ago,China gave Hong Kong to Bratain.But in 1997,Hong Kong returned to bosom in motherland again.Whatever by July 1st,people can celebrate.Today,children in the neighbourhood and I played the small fire-crackers together.We were very happy.In the evening,I saw a popular movie about Hong Kong’s return.As a Chinese,I was very happy to see my motherland being srtonger and stronger.July 3,2010

The weather was sunny today.I got up early.After I had breakfast,I did my homework.Study was a part of our everyday life.I studyed many subjucts this summer vacation:English,science,art, calligraphy and so on.When I finished my homework,I was tired.So I watched TV for an hour.It was my favourite way of relaxing.We had delicious food for lunch.We had eggplants,fish,chicken and soup.But we didn’t have any fork.In the afternoon,I went to a library.I liked reading book a lot.My friends，Julia and Cenia with me.Lbrary was a good place to study.Because it was quiet.We should study hard.For ourselves, and our parents.July 4,2010

The weather was sunny and hot.I didn’t want to do anything.When I was sleeping,my mother asked me to get up.I was very reluctantly.But I still got up ten minutes after.Because my mother and I would go to a villa.We went there by car and my father drived.The villa had a big garden.We can plant some vegetables and flowers.I helped my mother water the flowers.There was a small pool.Many kinds of fishes were in it.In the morning ,we visited the villa and cooked lunch.In the afternoon,I fished with my cousins-a boy and a girl and my father.We even wanted to swim in the pool.The air there was clean and there were so many trees.It was a good place to go on vacation.How big the villa is!I really enjoyed it.I believe, I believe I will have much money to buy a big and nice villa many years after.July 5，2010

The weather was windy and cool.I wanted to go to Hunan and my mother agreed that I went.About 1:30pm,we went to bus stop to wait for my mother’s friend.We went together.After 30 minutes,we were in the airport.I lookforward to climbing mountains.It was exciting.Then we arrived at Changsha.It was a beautiful city,and it was Mao Zedong’s hometown.We enjoyed the colorful lights and went shopping.The shopping mall is bigger than the shopping mall in Wenzhou.I hope I can have a good trip with my mother and my mother’s friend.July 11,2010

Today,I got up very early.I had a good breakfast in the restaurant.Then we went to Tianmen Mountain.It was a beautiful mountain.But weather was rainy,so there were wet and there were some fogges on the high of the mountain.But it still was very beautiful.My mother took some photos for me.A famous movie was from here.I was very happy that I can get to Tianmen Mountain to have a look at it.There was a mountain looked like a person.I love this.It was the first day of my trip and it was so good.July 20,2010

Today was the last day of vacation, and holidays was coming to end.I am glad that I can go to school.I miss the book's flavor.I also miss the days with the teachers and students.But, school days started,it meaned I can’t play the computer,and I can’t go to travel.But I am not sad.As a student, our task was learning.I believe in the new semester, each of us can do well in school.I believe me ,and I believe us.
