Good morning/afternoon, dear professors.It’s my honor to be here and to communicate with you.First of all, I'd like to introduce myself.My name is Huang Ping.I come from Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, and my major is welding technology and engineering.Born in a poor family in Jiangxi Province, I was educated by my mother, since I was a little boy, that knowledge is power.From then on, I spare no efforts to pursue my college dream.With great perspiration, I finally made it.During my 4 years’ education, I focus a lot on the fundamental learning of my major and won scholarships several times.I participated in the national college students’ English competition and Jiangsu mathematics competition, and won the 3rd prize respectively.In my spare time, I pay great attention on developing my personal quality.I was the vice-president of welding association in my college, and successfully held the 3rd welding operation competition, with my fellow members.In terms of research experience, I’ve joined the PSIP(program and system information protocol)since I was a sophomore student.With the instructions of the mentor, our team accomplished the project—the detection of toxic gas, and published a paper---CC1100-based gas system design and implementation of telemetry in the academic periodical--Science.After 4 years’ hard work, I was awarded Jiangsu Miyoshi Student.Looking forward to the future, I plan to focus my research in welding.And I hope I can have a systematic view of it and make a solid foundation for future profession.It’s my dream to study in Tianjin University.My motto is “Nothing is impossible to a willing heart.” With this belief, I’m standing here.And I expect my efforts could make my dream come true.That’s all.Thank you again for this opportunity.
