生日除了讲几月外,还要有具体的几号,我们已经学过基数词one,two,three到thirty-one。那么我们是否就用这些基数词呢?No.我们还有把这些数词稍微改变一下。然后引出序数词的学习,教学日期的表达法。
每组派一个同学到黑板上写出四个你喜欢的日期,然后让另外小组的成员用英语说出你写的日期,每个同学说一个,如果错了,就让同一组的同学纠正,看看哪一组同学能一次就说正确,那么就是获胜者。

教学设计(预案)修改
教学中情境的创设方法很多,如果一堂课的教学设计,平铺直叙,学生难免在上课过程中思想不能集中,要有效地抓住学生的注意力,必须在一节课中设计若干个兴趣高潮,而良好的教学情境的创设是有效的激起高潮的手段。下面就自己十余年的教学实践,谈谈如何创设教学情境,激发学生学习地理的兴趣。
一、精心布局,设计谜语游戏情境激趣
教学中如能紧密结合教材,运用谜语故事的形式组织教学,对于激发学生学习兴趣,能起到良好的效果。如在讲“地图”一节时,给学生出示一条谜语:“有山不见一棵树,有地没有半分田,五湖四海没有水,世界各国在眼前。”在讲述“大洲和大洋”时用学生传递塑料地球仪游戏,要求学生记住右手大拇指接触的是陆地还是海洋,最后统计触摸陆地的人数和触摸海洋人数和比例,并说明触摸次数越多,最终触摸海洋和陆地的人数比越接近“7:3”,然后提问为什么?(海陆的比就是7:3,这与数学中的概率问题有关)。
二、挖掘教材,合理开发故事情境激趣
一些真实、生动的故事,对学生有很强的吸引力,能唤起他们的求知欲望,若将其编排到地理教学中,将起到事半功倍的教学效果。例如:在讲授“寒潮”一节时,我讲了这样一个故事:1941年10月2号称“台风”的德军大举侵略苏联。苏军派出一支训练有速、准备充分的西伯利亚军队(为什么派西伯利亚军队),他们身穿白衣,手拿白色武器,向敌人猛扑过去,不到数日,德军损兵折将100余万,“台风”大败。苏军的“天兵天将”是严寒,原来苏军根据气象综合预报,得知这年冬天特别寒冷,低达一50℃,(气温下降幅度如何?)德军没有作防寒准备,头脑都冻僵了,完全失去作战能力。通过讲这个故事使学生明白了寒潮发生时间是秋末、冬季、初春。强冷空气从西伯利亚猛烈南下,苏军利用了天时地利,大败德军。这样把故事的讲述与教材巧妙地统一起来,激发了学生的学习兴趣。
三、引入竞争模式,创设竞赛情境激趣
好胜、想表现的心态使学生乐于抢先回答问题。在教学中,将竞赛形式巧妙地引进课堂教学中,适时利用竞赛能促使学生快速思考,使课堂兴趣盎然,收到较好的教学效果。
(1)一条龙式。如长江、黄河两节的复习,按发源地、流经省级行政单位、注人海洋和全长编为两组系列题,由两列同学按前后顺序依次分答。此种方式,根据时间的长短,可多次重复进行。(2)“南北”竞赛式。把学生按教室方位分为均等的两部分,分别命名为“南、北方阵”。教师命题,“南、北”双阵抢答或分组必答。(3)选代表式。全班学生分成均等的几个组,每组各推几个代表。教师命题,各组代表抢答或分组必答,如果有不会的问题,可先由本组同学答,不会再由其他组的同学答。
四、充分利用教学资源,创设直观教学情境激趣
直观形象、图文并茂的多媒体技术以其新颖、趣味、艺术吸引学生的注意力,激发学生学习动机。现代多媒体技术可通过多种媒体如文字、图像、声音、数据、动画、和视频等对信息进行数字化处理和交互化处理,使课堂由单一接受方式变为以视听等多种感官的共同协调,拓展学习的空间。地图是地理学的第二语言,是学习地理的重要工具,地理图表具有形象、直观、易懂、信息量大等特点。如在讲授七年级《天气与气候》中的“天气预报和常用天气符号”时。首先教师出示“卫星云图”照片,这是一张色彩十分清晰的图片,很容易引起学生的注意,而后老师让学生根据颜色判断天气情况,导入所学的知识内容。通过图文结合,师生互动,学生轻松地掌握了知识,使课堂气氛更加活跃,寓教于乐。
五、加强学科渗透,融合学科知识创设情境激趣
在地理课堂教学中,教师不要仅停留在让学生看教材、看插图、死记硬背的水平上,可对一些自然、人文景观的迷人风光、异域民族的独特风情等,用清晰、明快、生动、形象、通俗易懂的文学素养进行讲述,作到情真意切,又注重了学科间融合,使学生犹如身临其境。例如,讲解“长江三峡”时描述三峡滩险、流急、景色奇美,我借助李白:“朝辞自帝彩云间,千里江陵一日还,两岸猿声啼不住,轻舟已过万重山。”的诗句,把学生带入奇妙的意境。这样不仅抓住了学生的求知欲望,提高了她们学习的兴趣。
六、走近生活,创设社会生活情境激趣
新课标教学理念提出学习对生活有用的地理,因此地理教学应该走近生活,联系生活和社会热点,重视学生的学习贴近生活实际,融入课堂学习。如在讲授八年级《地理》上册《中国的人口》时,讲到人口过多带来的影响,可以让学生联想自身周围谈谈,这样学生理解起来更容易。从学生亲身经历与人们经常议论的话题引入,调动起学生的情感积极性等,都会产生很好的学习效果。
学生在学习“地球表面海陆分布时”有一个重要内容是人类认识地表和探索太空的历程,当时正值“神舟七号”发射之际,我就利用这一个热点创设教学情境。首先让了解“神舟七号”的同学来介绍有关知识,然后同学们提出问题,最后小组讨论来解决这些问题,在这一过程中,学生对人类探索太空的艰辛有了更深的了解,同时也进一步增强了他们学习地理的兴趣。
七、走出课堂,创设实践活动情境激趣
在教学当中,我们就应尽可能地创设各种动手操作的情境,通过动手、动脑的活动,既学会了新知,培养了动手能力,丰富了想象力,又加深了知识的理解和运用能力。
例如:讲授“中国行政区划”一节,要使学生在短时间内记住各省、市、自治区的形状、位置、行政中心、简称,确实难度很大,于是我让学生课下自制政区拼图,涂上不同颜色,用剪刀剪下来拼好,把次序打乱再拼,看谁做得准确、漂亮。待学生们把拼图拿上来一看,真是五颜六色,所用材料五花八门,大小不一。有一个叫丁莉的学生,她做的拼图就像墙上挂的中国政区图一样大,醒目极了,直接可以作教具用,这节课让他们自由拼图中度过,学生们很轻松、很愉快地记住了本节的内容,取得了良好的教学效果。
德国教育家第斯多惠说:“教学的艺术不在于传授的本领,而在于激励、唤醒、鼓励。”因此培养学生的学习主动性,激发学生的学习兴趣,让学生喜欢学地理是一个长远而又常新的课题,需要我们教师共同不断探索。
