第一篇:如何成功应聘外企
一、外企面试的常规流程通常来说,外企面试分为三轮:
第一轮面试:一般由公司人力资源部的人员担任考官,他们会从你的个人简历出发,请你用英语做一个自我介绍。试图在短短几分钟内吸引面试官的注意力,你的简介当然要是浓缩的精品。所以,前奏一般用一句话陈述自己的基本特征即可。然后迅速进入正题,或选择自己最引以为傲的经历叙述,或介绍自己的长处。
第二轮面试:由部门主管经理出面,这时候有关业务方面的问题成了面试的重点,所以英语面试也从个人情况转向了专业领域。比如应聘市场部,则应聘者通常会被要求谈一谈以往最成功的一个案例,或者自身的业务强项等。
第三轮面试:如果前面都很顺利,最后一轮面试一般就是和公司的高管面对面了。外企的高管一般是老外,当然面试就变成全英语的了。面试在求职过程中,可以说是压力最大的一个环节。而英语面试又是比较难的一环,第三轮当然是难上加难。高管询问的问题一般会和公司精神、企业文化、个人品质、福利薪水有关。面对外国老板连珠炮似的提问,如果能回答得从容不迫、简明扼要,恰当中肯,合乎口味,那么肯定会大大增加你的录取机会。
二、外企面试常见36个问题Common questions:
1.“Tell me about yourself” 简要介绍你自己。
2.“Why are you interested in this position?” 你为什么对这份工作感兴趣?
3.“What are your strengths?” 谈谈你的优势?
4.“What is Your Biggest Weakness?” 谈谈你最大的弱点是什么?

Problem-Solving Questions:

Organizational and Planning Questions:Organizational and planning questions demonstrate how you approach your job and how you think.If someone appears disorganized, more likely than not, that candidate will be rejected.28.“Tell me about a goal you set for yourself and how you accomplished it.”分析:给自己的工作和生活设定有效的计划并按计划执行是一个非常好的习惯,如果你现在还没有这个习惯,不妨开始学着去做。至少,你应该知道怎么去制订计划并执行。
29.“Do you typically achieve what you set out to do?”
分析:直观上感觉面试官是在考察你是不是一个有恒心和毅力的人,因此回答“是”无疑是一个稳妥的答案(如例一)。但是很可能所有应聘者都会给出肯定的答案,你不妨尝试做点改变(如例二)。

35. “Tell me about the most difficult decision you have had to make.” 你曾经做过的最难的决定是什么?
36. “What is your ideal job?” 你理想的工作是什么?
四、谈吐的3p原则
自我介绍时应该记住“3p原则”:positive(自信),personal(个性),pertinent(中肯)。
1.信心(confidence)代表着一个人在事业中的精神状态和把握工作的热忱以及对自己能力的正确认知。有了这样一份信心,工作起来就有热情有冲劲,可以勇往直前。谈吐自信,就是要积极地进行自我肯定,让面试人充分了解你的优点与潜能。所以回答要沉着、自信(lacks confidence and poise),而不是心神不宁(is nervous and ill at ease)。
2.突出个性(personal),就是要把自己与众不同的特点发挥出来,强调自己的专业与能力。自我介绍应简洁明了,给面试人留下思路清晰、反应快捷、逻辑性强的印象。时间不宜太长,最好控制在五分钟之内。不要一谈起自己就口若悬河,滔滔不绝,给人留下自我标榜、以自我为中心的印象。
3.语气中肯(pertinent),就是要实事求是,不要言过其实,夸夸其谈,也不要涉及和自己无关的事情。
为了表达自己的诚意,某个问题发表完见解之后,可以附带加上一句:i’d like to hear your opinion.(我很想听听你的意见。)
这句话表明了你对面试人的尊敬,很容易使他(她)产生亲切感。当面试人在试探你的应聘诚意时,应该及时表态:
so far as that is concerned,you must have understood my determination.(谈到这里,你一定已经明白我的决心。)
五、回避硬伤的三项注意事项
如果你有幸进入到了面试阶段,但是认为自己的英语口语水平不济,在面试的过程中可能出现紧张、词不达意或者其他各种各样的问题,可以重点注意一下三项问题,回避你的口语硬伤。
1.回答语速切莫过快
英文面试的第一目的是让国外主管了解你,甚至对你感兴趣,最重要的是展示你的综合素质,绝非单单的语言能力,所以应该首先力求有条不紊、表达清晰。剑桥大学的一项调查显示,语速快一般体现具备两种不同特质的人,一种是思维和语言反应能力强且协调的人,一种是处事急躁的人。语速过快容易给人不自信、不稳重的错觉。所以最好的语速是中速平和,既让人听懂,又给自己以思考的时间。
2.自由讨论应当直白
在英语的口语交谈中,不必太拘泥于语法,大胆表达清楚自己的意思即可。用简单直白的语言表现最具魅力的自我,才是英文面试的至高境界。很多人恨不得在面试中用大气磅礴的英文演讲征服面试官,习惯于堆砌华丽的词藻,其实又犯了舍本逐末的错误。
3.电话面试充分准备
如果采用电话面试,而且你提前知道了电话面试的时间,则可以在面试时把简历、cover letter放在你旁边的桌子上,直接运用里面的句子回答问题。一些基本的问题,你可以事先准备好答案六、三类肢体语言
1.body language(肢体语言)

要注意:don't shake hand with the interviewer until he/she extends his/her hand.(人家伸手时才握手。)don't sit down until invited to do so by the interviewer.(人家未请,先別坐下。)
2.eye contact(眼神的交流)
always maintain eye contact with the interviewer.make eye-contact with the interviewer during the interview.show that you are confident by looking straight at the person.(和雇主要一直保持目光接触。面试时,眼睛要看着对方。直视对方说明你有自信。)
而不是fails to look interviewer in the eye不敢正视。
3.active listener(做一个积极的聆听者)
面试时要listen actively and stay calm.(注意听,保持冷静。)而对方的一举一动,虽然无言,却也可能有意。要善于察言观色,明察秋毫,比如,自己说得太多了就要注意一下是不是自己太罗嗦了,没有掌握好时间。主试人认为该结束面试时,往往会说以下这些暗示的话语,例:i’m grateful for your concern about the job at our company.我很感激你对我们公司这项工作的关注。
thank you for your concern about our recruitment,we shall inform you as soon as we have made our decision.谢谢你对我们招聘工作的关心。我们一做出决定就会立即通知你。
we have known something about you.you know, we have to interview several applicants
we make our final decision.你的情况我们已经了解了。你知道,在做出最后决定之前我们还要面试几位申请人。
七、面试的三个大忌
第一个大忌:毫无准备
there is not prepared for interview.(对面试无准备)。当面试官问到某个问题时说:i don't know for sure.(我不确切知道。)或者显得lacks planning for career;has no purpose or goals.(对自己的事业没有安排;没有目标和理想。)
第二个大忌:好高骛远
is unwilling to start at the bottom;expects too much too soon.(不愿从基层干起;要求太多。)或者overemphasizes money;is interested only in the best dollar offer.(只对最佳报酬感兴趣。)
第三个大忌:举止邋遢
不检点自己的一言一行,这些都可能引起别人的注意,影响自己的形象。例
has a poor personal appearance.(衣着形象不佳。)
has limp, weak handshake.(握手时软弱无力。)
don't talk with your mouth full.嘴里有食物,不可开口说话。

主要内容最好和应征工作有关,提出最有利于新工作的职务经历。最好也能说明曾担任何种职务、实际成绩、业绩等,以及自己的工作对原来公司的影响,凡和此次应征不相关的内容,则务必避免提及。
4.提供与专业能力相关的资格 考试 资料或专业证书。
最好和应征职务有直接关联,不但可证明自己在这一方面的努力,也表示具有这个潜能。描述可针对过去的工作表现以展现个人专业能力。先了解自身能力之后,在面试时才能侃侃而谈。
5.明确表达应征动机。
“觉得贵公司很有潜力”、“自觉和贵公司的风格很吻合”等均过于笼统不足采用,应该实际而具体地提出公司发展潜力与个人欣赏公司风格的地方,华丽空泛的形容词反而弄巧成拙,表达自己的工作热忱才是上策。
