第五篇：船海学院成功船舶专业英语口语技能比武
船海学院成功举办“2014船舶专业英语口语技能比武”竞赛
随着中国船舶行业的快速发展和崛起，对国际型技术人才的需求越来越大，提高专业英语水平更是从事船舶行业必备条件。为提高我院学生的英语口语水平，认识专业英语在实际工作中的应用性，6月4日16：10，由船海学院舾装教研室主办的船海学院“2014船舶专业英语口语技能比武”竞赛在7405教室举行。船海学院院长陈彬也来到比赛现场观看比赛。此次比赛由舾装教研室黄迎春、刘海莉、郑兰等老师担任评委，12361班张焕同学主持。
比赛分为英汉互译、情景对话指定问答项目和个人职业规划演讲项目。参赛者的舞台形象、语言标准度与流利程度、现场应变及口头表达能力等都将作为评判标准，采用依项计分，最终核算总分的方式排列名次。
此次比赛共有9名参赛者，他们都是来自各自专业中英语口语的佼佼者。选手们仪态大方、语言流畅，展示内容积极向上、个性鲜明、独具特色。比赛过程激烈有序，有的慷慨激扬，有的娓娓道来。问答形式中的对答如流展现了选手们流利的英语口语和现场应变能力，自由演讲环节中选手则用独特的“牛津腔”将异域风情体现得淋漓尽致，赢得了观众一次次热烈的掌声。
经过选手们激烈地角逐，来自12313班的罗权凭借良好的英语口语及出色的表现获得了本次比赛的一等奖，来自12316班的郭江英以及来自12361班的张焕等八名同学分获二、三等奖。陈彬院长在赛后充分肯定了选手们的优秀表现，向在座同学分析了专业英语在国际舞台中所处重要地位的原因，并鼓励大家在以后的日子更加努力地学习英语。（船海学院记者团）
