I understand Australia is from last year's Shanghai World Expo.In Australian Museum, I learned many thing of Australia like land area, population, culture, customs and habits,animals and so on.Which i most interested in is animal.I love the koala best.I think koala is the most happy animal.But do you exactly knows what is a koala? The koala is a small bear-like, tree-dwelling animal, which averages about 9 kilograms in weight.Its fur is thick and usually ash gray.The koala gets its name from an ancient Aboriginal word ,meaning “no drink”, because it receives over 90% of its water from the Eucalyptus leaves(also known as gum leaves)it eats, and only drinks when ill or when there is not enough moisture in the leaves.Habitat

'Habitat' refers to the types of bush land that koalas like to live in.They are found in a range of habitats, from coastal islands and tall eucalypt forests to low woodlands inland.Koalas today are found in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.Koalas live in societies, just like humans, so they need to be able to come into contact with other koalas.It is because of this they need to have areas of suitable eucalypt forest, which are large enough to support a healthy koala population and to allow expansion by raising young koalas.It is pity that Australian koalas could be wiped out within 30 years unless urgent action is taken to halt a decline in population, according to researchers.They say development, climate change and bushfires have all combined to send the numbers of wild koalas plummeting.The Australian Koala Foundation said a recent survey showed the population could have dropped by more than half in the past six years.Many have been killed by the sexually transmitted disease chlamydia.Previous estimates put the number of koalas at more than 100,000and the koala's status as one of the country's favourite animals would not be a factor.Here,now, i mention this is hope that people can pay more attention to the koala, do not let these lovely animals, human friend, become homeless.I believe that we can peacefully in the earth homeland and find a balance of humankind and animals.

第三篇：高考作文灵感之风土人情描写

2002年以后随一家医疗器械公司去了广西，安徽许多地方，现今回想其乐无穷。于是萌生将所见所闻，风土人情写下来的念头。

广西金秀是一个山上的小县城，夏天也很凉快，晚上睡觉不但不用吹空调风扇之类的，还要盖棉被，否则要着凉。据当地人说曾经有个风扇商人拉过一车电扇去卖了两个月，后来原封不动的打道回府。

但是当地也有凉茶卖，他们的凉茶不像我们现在一罐罐的，而是用一个类似脸盆的器皿盛着在街上一杯一杯的卖，盆里面还泡着一些不认识的大大小小的树根树枝，喝起来有点苦。我问当地人，你们这里这么凉快，也要喝下火凉茶吗，回答说他们喝凉茶是用来去湿的，因为广西一带湿气较重，容易产生瘴气，喝凉茶可以保护身体不受病邪侵袭。

有趣的是当地农户喂猪基本上是在家里前院散养的，它有点像小猫小狗一样可以在一个小围墙内自由活动，我们第一次看到这样养猪的，可能这种养法猪肉比较好吃吧。

说到吃，对当地的口味已经记忆模糊了，不过比较清晰的记得当地人喜欢吃地瓜叶和南瓜花。

第四篇：动物自我介绍(考拉)

考拉

大家好！我叫考拉，也叫树袋熊，是澳洲的土著居民。在澳大利亚许多风景画片上，都有我的“光辉形象”。我主要生活在澳大利亚东南部的干旱森林中。

我个子不大，性情温顺，体态憨厚，长相酷似小熊，大家都很喜欢我憨憨的模样。

我长有一身又厚又软的浓密灰褐色短毛，胸前、腹部、四肢内侧和耳朵里的皮毛都是灰白色的。我生有两只大而圆的耳朵，一对黑黑的小眼睛和长而黑亮、犹如橡皮似的鼻子。由于我前肢长、后肢短，所以我行走缓慢，不适合在地上生活。但我爬树很厉害哦，我的前爪很锋利，前爪中的拇指与其他相连的几个指相互配合，可以灵活抓拿东西，加上我的平衡能力很强，所以大多数时候我都生活在树上，就连睡觉也不下来。我没有尾巴，这是因为我的尾巴经过漫长的岁月已经退化成一个“座垫”，因此我最喜欢长时间地坐在树上，舒适而潇洒。

白天，我通常将身子蜷作一团栖息在桉树上，晚间才外出活动，沿着树枝爬上爬下，寻找桉叶充饥。我胃口大，食路窄，非桉叶不吃。虽然澳大利亚有300多种桉树，可我很挑食，只吃其中的12种。我特别喜欢吃玫瑰桉树、甘露桉树和斑桉树上的叶子。桉叶汁多味香，含有桉树脑和水茴香萜，因此，我的身上总是散发着一种馥郁清香的桉叶香味。我几乎从不下地饮水，这是因为我从桉树叶中已经得到了足够的水分，因此当地人称我“克瓦勒”，意思就是“不喝水”。

现在，澳洲的游客很多，每当他们举起相机给我拍照时，我都会很配合地趴在树上摆出漂亮的“pose”，当好澳大利亚的形象大使呢。
