守信,是中华民族的一种传统美德。我国是一个文明大国、礼仪之邦。历来重视诚信的道德修养,把诚信作为一项崇高的美德加以颂扬,留下许多诚实守信的名言和佳话。《论语》中“与朋友交,言而有信”、“人而无信,不知其可也”、“民无信不立”、“言必信,行必果”等内容都论述了要将守信作为人生行为的重要准则。此外,商鞅立木建信、诸葛守诺遣兵、季布一诺等一桩桩有关诚守信的历史故事,更是生动的揭示了诚信是做人的根本,是德行的基础,也是立国的保证。
诚实守信是一个人赢得他人信任的前提,也是在社会上得以立足的基本准则。有一个关于汉代伟大谋略家张良的故事,他年轻时曾路过一座桥,桥上的一位老人把鞋子甩到了桥下,老人要他捡上来,张良二话没说就帮他捡上来了。老人临走告诉他,要他第二天早上天亮时在这桥上等他。第二天早上张良如约早早来到桥上,可是老人已经在桥上了,老人又故伎重演,把鞋子甩到了桥下,还要他捡上来,张良仍旧照做。这样一直到第四天早上,张良早早等在桥上,过了一会儿老人才出现。老人对他如实履约并且早到的表现很满意,从怀里掏出一本兵书,让张良回去好好研读。张良的守信得到了回报,他经过自己的努力,后来终于成长为一个伟大的谋略家。
