ˌdentəlɪ].Now, let me tell you a small story.在我们中国，并不是像雷锋这样好事做了一火车的人才配得上当美德好少年。像我们这种平常人也可以当上美德好少年。身边的美德故事不少，有时候在你不经意间就能发生美德故事。下面我就说说发生在身边的一个小故事吧。
On a weekend, my brother and I went to a bookstore.While walking, we heard [hə:d] a sudden [ˌsʌdən] noise.An uncle threw an empty coca cola bottle to the ground;people around him looked at him without saying anything.However, my brother could not bear it.He walked to the uncle and said that, “uncle, the dustbin is not far [fɑ:] from you, and I believe you can walk to it.“Suddenly, all the people stared at that uncle.The
uncle was very ashamed [əˌʃeimd] and picked it up quickly.Although my brother only did a very small thing, he taught that uncle a lesson.I think that he will never casually [ˌkæʒjʊəlɪ] throw rubbish anymore.一个周末，我和哥哥一起去书店，走着走着，忽然听到“哐”的一声，一个叔叔把一个刚喝完的可乐瓶丢了出去。周边的人看看他也没说什么，可是哥哥忍不住了，走上前去说：“叔叔，垃圾桶不远的，相信你走得动的。”街上的目光一下子都聚集到了那个叔叔身上，他的脸一下子红到了耳根，马上弯下腰去捡了起来。哥哥的举动好不起眼，但他无意中也教育了那位叔叔，我相信他以后不会再随地丢垃圾了。
There are a lot of beautiful things around us, such as, closing the open tap, helping the falling old people to stand up, and picking up the rubbish on the ground.Let us begin with the small thing and do it from me.And then everyone can become ”living Lei Feng".Are you ready?
身边的美德故事还有很多很多，比如拧紧没关好的水龙头，扶起摔倒的老人，捡起脚边的垃圾.......从小事做起，从我做起，每个人都能成为“活雷锋”。

A very good morning/afternoon/evening to you all,everybody.As is known to us,the year 2010 saw China's first time to host the Expo in Shanghai,which attracted the world's all attention..Over 200 pavillions of different countries and areas throught out the world poured by the Huangpu River,the mother river of Shanghai,which is the biggest and most developed city in China.Undoubtedly,It was a good opportunity for China to display itself and push forwards its economy,letting the world knows more about China as well as China knows more about the world.Involving more countries and people,the Shanghai Expo has made itself the greatest one in its history,marking that China is certainly playing a more and more important character in the world stage,of which I am proud.Meanwhile,the world has changed a lot,with new technology used and new products seen.We are a happiest generation,living in a fully-new world,without hardship or trouble Friends,do you think we have the reason for not studying hard?Surely not.the contrary,we must!We must do something for our country,for our world.We must make every efford to make them more beautiful.The World Expo2010 Shanghai has already ended on October 31, 2010.As Chinese people, we are very proud of it.During the Expo Shanghai was really the center of the world’s attention.It’s a great global event and of course it is good for China, and it also brings me a lot.First of all, thanks to the Expo, I learned more about the world.The Expo is just like a little world where people can not only see rare cultural treasures from around the world--the statue of Athena from Greece and French impressionist masterpieces, for example--but also get a taste of the diversity of the world's cultures through more than 20,000 cultural events.Secondly, the Expo slogan is “ Better city, Better life”.Shanghai Expo is a great chance for the Chinese economy growth, because many countries had a rapid growth in economy after the World Expo, and their GDP broke through a bottleneck.I think we can also enjoy this economy growth after the Expo, and we will all have a better life.Moreover, it closes the relationship of China with other countries.China’s status in the world is higher now.In all, I think the Expo is a remarkable, even historic event.And it does bring me a lot.That’s all, thank you！
