I watched both of the two videos.As I have already seen some of his videos, I admire him very much.As he said in the speech I’m different from the world,” I think having no arms and no legs is not the biggest disability at all, in fact, I think the greatest disability of all is your mind, because some of us can have arms and legs, but you self want to give up, their minds is their disability, their choice to give up, that’s the disability.”, it’s the thing, isn’t it? （一）以前有一个小男孩瞪大眼睛打量了尼克很久，最后最后吐出一句：“你总算还有一个头。”--这是尼克胡哲在他演讲时必讲的一个小插曲。只要看一眼尼克，你就会立刻明白为什么小男孩会这么说，进而感叹为什么上帝要制造这样的性命。

尼克打出生时就没有四肢，只有躯干和头，就像一尊残破的雕像。这幅模样甚至连他的父母都无法理解。可想而知，这样的躯体给尼克造成了多大的困难。他所能利用的身体部位，只有一个长着两根脚趾的小脚，被他妹妹戏称为“小鸡腿”,正因尼克家的宠物狗以前误以为那个是鸡腿，想要吃掉它。

尼克不能走路，不能拿东西，并且总要忍受被围观的耻辱。这一度使他十分消沉，以至于想要在浴缸里淹死自我。还好，他在最后一刻，脑海中浮现出父母在他坟前哭泣的样貌，于是他放下了。这是他最正确的选取。活下来，使他有机会看到，原来他的人生有着无尽的期望。

尼克秉持着一个基督徒的信仰，告诫自我永远不好放下。他虽然没有健全的四肢，但是有一幅好口才，和一个聪明的大脑。他总是用无比简单的语调来调侃自我的经历，他永远不在意别人讶异的眼光，并且发奋对自我充满自信，而事实上，他确实做到了绝大多数普通人无法做到的事：他成了一名全球知名的励志演说家。

（二）尼克胡哲的人生对平常人来说确实是一次很大的遭遇，只是他勇于接受现实，敢于面对现实，所以他才创造了世间的奇迹，成为能够影响世界千万人的超级演说家。

今天又一次看了关于尼克的视频，是鲁豫有约的一次采访，我看了一下时间好像08年的。想起又有些好笑，都三年之久了我居然还才知道，看来平时真的很少关注这个能够给人来来安详宁静的世界了。但不管怎样，我现在还是知道了，也就是还不算太晚。第一眼看到尼克 的时候他总是挂着甜蜜自信乐观豁达的笑容，真的没有感觉有一丝对现实抱怨。他说他可以选择为没有四肢而愤怒，或是因为我仍有“小鸡腿”而感恩。

其实确实是这样的，是选择感恩还是抱怨都看你自己的。鹏鹏老师说过发生在我生命中的一切都是上天赐予的礼物，我需要的就是满心欢喜的接受。其实真的很也不起，尼克用自身的行动创造了一个又一个的奇迹，没有手没有脚却可以游泳，冲浪，潜水，钓鱼，打高尔夫球。当我看到他从两米高的跳板上跳下来之后，居然像一个正常人样的在水里游来游去，还能靠身体支撑自己上岸。我真的不敢想像如果换作是我，我真的还能一直坚持走下去，活下去吗？答案是个谜。也不可以说还能读大学，还能拿双学位了。更不可能说还能用自身的信念去影响去帮助别人了。

其实支撑他活下去的原因就是他有这样的信念，有特殊的使命，相信上天给予我的一切都是赐予我的礼物。如果他选择抱怨，我们将永远也不会在舞台上看到胡哲甜蜜的笑容了，如果不是胡哲感恩上天还赐予了他一只小鸡腿。他还不能生活完全自理，自己刷牙，()自己整理一切东西，感恩的力量真的无穷。

他乐观，热情，积极。所以他的成功没有偶然，只有必然。

“人生最可悲的并非失去四肢，而是没有生存希望及目标！人们经常埋怨什么也做不来，但如果我们只记挂着想拥有或欠缺的东西，而不去珍惜所拥有的，那根本改变不了问题！真正改变命运的，并不是我们的机遇，而是我们的态度。”

尼克·胡哲是澳大利亚人，他出生于1982年12月4日，原本应该给全家带来欢乐的小生命却在他来到世上的那一刻吓坏了所有的人，他天生就没有双臂和双腿，只在左侧臀部以下的位置有一个带着两个脚指头的小“脚”，尼克笑称他为“小鸡腿”，在以后的日子里，“小鸡腿”给了尼克巨大的帮助。然而在最初的日子里，他的样子吓坏了她的父母，他的母亲直到他4个月大她才敢抱他。童年本应该是快乐的，然而尼克胡哲的成长却因身体残疾充斥着满目的荆棘。但尼克胡哲的父母并没有放弃这个小生命，他们希望他能像普通人一样生活和学习。“父亲在我18个月大时就把我放到水里，”尼克胡哲说，“让我有勇气学习游泳。” 也许，这对一个孩子来说是残忍的，尤其是对尼克胡哲这样身体有残疾的孩子，后来他的父母甚至将他送进了一所普通的小学就读。在学校的日子是难熬的，同学们异样的目光，不断的欺凌，让小尼克萌生了想要结束生命的可怕念头，他甚至试图将自己溺死在浴缸里，但上帝终归对他有所眷顾，尼克逐渐适应了学校生活，并开始结交各种朋友。经过长期训练，“小鸡腿”也逐渐成了尼克胡哲的好帮手，不

仅帮助他保持身体平衡、写字、取物，还可以踢球、打字。尼克的生活开始逐渐走上正轨。

有句话说：“父母的爱是孩子不断前进最好的动力。”但是，却并不是每一对父母都能做到，尤其在面对孩子的残疾时。幸运的是，尼克胡哲的父母并没有像其他人一样将身有残疾的孩子送进福利院或将之遗弃，他们用自己的爱，给尼克撑起了一片自由成长的天空。尼克的父母选择让尼克接受正常的教育、像正常人一样生活，也许这个过程是痛苦的，然而经历过后，生活回馈他的是一笔宝贵的财富。如今回想起那段倍感艰辛的学习经历，尼克胡哲认为这是父母为让他融入社会作出的最佳抉择。“那段时间对我而言非常艰难，但它让我变得独立”。正如尼克所说，这种另类的爱使尼克胡哲从小建立起一种坚韧向上、积极乐观的精神。“像普通人一向生活”，如今，他做到了。

只要用心的爱自己和这个世界，再大的困境都能超越。上帝给了尼克胡哲不完整的肢体，却让他在以后的生活中逐渐成长为一个拥有完整人格，并将爱播撒到世界各地的人，它不仅获得了会计和财务规划的双学位，更是创造了一个有一个生命的奇迹，他的生命比一个四肢健全的人更加完整、更加魅力四射。

在节目里，尼克跟对观众们说 “即使你知道会失败也要去尝试，因为你知道这件事值得你去失败”。所以，不要轻言放弃，尤其是在你没有尝试时，你不知道下一秒你会遇到什么事，你不知道下一秒你会遇到什么人，你更不知道，下一秒你是会失败还是成功。记得当初在申请科研立项时，我不止一次的想要放弃，因为无论是我的课题还是工作难度，对于一个大一学生来说，都几乎是不

可能完成的任务。但凭着一股对法律的热爱，我依然坚持着完成了科研立项的申请工作，并且，我相信会在接下来一年的研究工作中，坚持初心不变，踏踏实实的走好每一步。无论最后是否能完成科研目标，我相信只要努力过，我就会有收获，就会无悔与自己的选择。

尼克胡哲曾经告诉人们，其实每个人的生命都是有个目的的，明白这一点便能帮助他们克服生命中的许多挣扎。生命的意义在于全心全意的投入，这点也是令我感慨颇多的一点，尤其是在高校自杀事件频发的时候，让人不禁想问：现在的学生是怎么了？的确，生命没有那么多的十全十美，当现实打碎幻想，我们只有用一颗强大的内心和对生活的热爱来面对它。相比于尼克胡哲，一个四肢健全的人真的要幸运很多，但反观他们的行为，一点点不如意的事就轻易的放弃自己的生命，从楼上一跃而下，划出的弧线并不是彩虹，而是亲人朋友伤心地坠落，承受力差并不是可以轻易原谅的接口，生命本身，才是最大的愧疚。没有什么坎是跨不过去的，不要为自己的不负责任找借口，全心全意的投入生命才能无悔，才能得到别人的敬重。

正如尼克所说“过去的已经过去，我们改变不了；未来的还未到来，我们也无法把握。”只要坚信和努力，一切皆有可能??
