My family 这一话题在小学新起点教程中的低、中、高三个年段中都有所涉及,我今天说课的内容是本套教材三年级下册第十四单元的第79课,本科要求学生在低年级学习家庭成员名称的基础上,综合利用所学知识进行话题交际,属于新受活动课的范畴。

一、教材分析:

本册书中共有两个关于family的话题,分别于第十四和第十五单元,其中第十四单元的话题以家庭成员的名称为主,与外貌、职业等相关,而第十五单元的话题,则谈论家庭成员活动,与个人的爱好相关。学生通过低年级family的话题的学习,已经能够说出家庭成员单词并使用,本节课,我以班级开展家庭联谊会为契机,使学生通过看图、听音、描述、仿写等活动,在真实情景中接触语言材料、感受语言、综合利用所学语言,向他人询问和介绍家庭成员的年龄、性别、性格、喜好、体态、外貌及职业等信息,通过用中学、学中练,反复实践操练,促进学生语言技能的发展,并切实感受英语学习的实际价值。

根据英语教学标准,我将本科的目标确定为:A,学生能听懂、会说、认读单词,family,people,grandfather,grandmother,father,mother,uncle,aunt,sister,brother。B,学生能熟练运用,They are people in my family , They are my..., This is my...., he/she is,he/she likes..., he/she is a....,进行语言实践。C,学生合作完成学习任务,注重交际功能。D,学生了解家庭成员间的基本关系,激发学生热爱生活和家人的情感。E,学生了解中西文化差异,即英文中家庭称呼一词盖多词,专词专用的现象,和家谱结构差异。

本课的教学重点为,学生能听懂、认识、会说They are people in my family , They are my..., This is my...., he/she is,he/she likes..., he/she is a....,熟练及流利的使用其进行言语交际是本课教学的难点,在突破教学重点与难点中,我坚持让学生在真实情境中体验参与、感受、掌握并运用。在教法和学法上,我以真实的动态的教学原则为基础,采用听说法,直观法,多媒体辅助法,情景法,全身动作法,小组合作学习法等教学方式,让学生保持兴趣,树立自信,做学习的主人,体验学习的快乐。

二、教学过程

1.激情导入,感知语境。首先,创设语境,导入新课,特别要指出,情境可以满足小学生的心里需要,引起他们的注意,因此,我创设了如下语境,我以班级要召开班级联谊会向大家介绍自己的家长,设立开场白,播放自制家庭录像片,让学生根据我对家人外貌的描述,猜猜我的家庭成员,引出课程my family,使课堂学习从一开始就充满生机,吸引学生的眼球,拉近老师和学生的距离,形成活跃的课堂气氛,在训练学生听和理解能力的同时,使学生获得多元信息的熏陶。其次,整合图片,呈现语境,接下了,出示教材A部分,这样一组家人聚会的图片,并将他们在院子里做的活动做相应的改动,每个家庭成员做自己喜欢的活动,并与自己所从事的职业相关,如grandfather,he is fat,his hair is short and white,he is cooking the chicken,he is a cook。通过让学生看图,借助family tree 明确词义,理清关系,感知新句型:They are people in my family , They are my..., This is my...,同时,在此环节中,渗入跨文化差异,使学生了解到中西方家谱的差别,即中国的家谱是自上而下,女子进不了家谱,而外国的家谱是自下而上的。

2.调动多元感官,养成良好习惯。“万丈高楼平地起”,小学阶段的学习,是一个人终生学习的基础。在教学过程中,培养学生养成良好的学习习惯是十分重要的,由此,进入课文学习阶段,我做了如下设计:设计一,看、听、做并用,首先,运用多媒体课件播放课文对话,使学生初步感受由一个个简单句合成具有实际意义的语段,然后让学生听音、找图、进行标号,完成学习任务,最后,教师使用why,what does she look like ,what is he like ,what is he doing,what he does等问题为学生提供语言表达的机会。一方面,以这种具有实际意义的操练,检验学生对家庭成员词汇是否掌握,另一方面通过教师的提问,引导学生描述家人的体态、外貌以及下一单元中所涉及的家人的活动,猜测所从事的职业等,使学生在潜移默化的习文过程中,了解family这一话题所谈论的内容,为接下来的片段仿写和情景表达做好准备。设计二,认、想、说并用,在心里学的研究证明,活动能有效的激发学生在学习中的兴趣,带动学生学习英语的积极性和主动性。接下来,我向学生展示某同学家庭成员的照片,运用多媒体课件,触及相关介绍语言,让学生替换新剧情中的词语进行表达,使学生对文字材料进行视觉识别,为接下来的介绍活动提供参考,引导学生使用适当的表情、手势、语气等培养学生正确的语音、语调和语感。在教师语言的提示下,总结可以从那几个方面进行家庭介绍,进行框架反梳。

3.创设情景,合作学。特别要指出,教师在教学中要有意识的形成自己的教学策略,并有具有不断调整自己教学策略的能力。在此环节中,我让学生以小组为单位,使用事先准备好的家庭照片进行询问和介绍,不但巩固了知识,也交给了他们更多交际的机会,增强了小组交流意识,形成了交流策略,将语言与实际生活结合起来,使学生在交流的过程中,提高对语言的感受、理解和运用能力。最后,进行小组汇报,使用投影仪展示照片,烘托气氛,保持兴趣,将试听结合,有效降低难度,师生共同参与评价,并在此时让学生了解英文中称呼一词盖多词和专词专用的现象。例如,单词grand father,在国外国外既包括爷爷也涵盖老爷,在中国凡是与父亲同辈的人,都可以成为uncle,而在国外,与父亲同辈,但无关系的,不能成为uncle,要尊称Mr.。

4.拓展延伸,完成任务,斯霍姆林斯基曾经说过,“当知识与积极的活动紧密的联系在一起的时候,学习才能成为孩子精神生活的一部分”,而且任何一种能力都是在相应的实践中发展起来的。基于此,在进行了口头输出后,我设计了如下活动:活动一,写一写,画一画。通过完成书写新部分,使学生养成正确的书写习惯,发展书写能力,在全体成员练习书写家庭成员的基础上,进行分层教学,学生可以选择给片段配图,也可以选择对片段进行进一步的完善,补充介绍家庭成员的性格、外貌、职业、活动等内容,分层完成任务,从而使不同层次的学生,都能有所得。活动二,秀一秀,猜一猜。将学生的书写作品用投影仪进行展示,由另一名同学帮助教师读文,或者进行第三人称转述,其他同学根据教师所提供的多副照片进行猜测,这是谁的family,以游戏的方式更好的激发学生的参与热情,在保持兴趣的同时,发展口语表达能力及阅读理解能力,通过完成书写和介绍任务,培养学生用英语做事情和用英语进行交流的能力,体现了交际语言教学的思想,同时学生为能够帮助老师而感到兴奋,为能够用自己所需英语进行交流而获得成功感和喜悦感,从而使学习的自信心倍增。

5.课外延伸,承上启下。课堂的终点在哪里?如果有,那么它应该在实践中。因此,在课堂的最后,我出示了各种肤色的学生,手拉手环绕地球的照片,对学生进行情感教育,我们每位同学都有一个小家,还有一个大家,我们每个人都应该热爱世界这个大家庭。并以本次活动为契机,让学生课下将家庭成员性格、性别、喜好、外貌、体态、职业及家庭活动等信息,以图片的形式记录下来,配以文字,下节课前进行展示汇报,以学生喜好的绘画形式为载体,更能够激发学生完成的欲望,以家庭作业留给学生反思本节课的内容。

三、学法指导

在本节课的教学过程中,我做到了一下三点:

1.通过机械操练,模仿正确的语音、语调和语速,使学生养成良好的听说习惯,保证学生规范而流畅的说出话题材料,培养口头表达能力,掌握正确的学习方法,学会学习。

2.在交流时给与学生提示,以打开学生思路,促使学生将所学的语言知识转化为交际技能,激发学生的表现欲望,在体验参与的过程中享受到学习英语的快乐,体验成功的喜悦,树立英语易学的观念。

3.在进行句型操练时,向学生提供介绍英语活动的语言、框架和参考,为学生仿写时提供依据。

总之,本节课的设计,我力争让学生在体验中参与,把本课的教学重点难点有机的融合起来,坚持趣味性和灵活性原则,使学生受到多元信息的熏陶,不足之处望各位评委老师批评指正。
